"Well, Darkrie by accident pulled you in, and we convinced him to get you out, but it was a little hard so we had to pull you." Thorn smiled, that story should stick. It was sort of the truth.

Evan nodded "I see, well that is one thing that I never want to do again" he said as he looked at her and smiled.

"It's not like you had a choice. You fell in." Thorn laughed. "You hungry?"

Evan nodded "yeah I am starving" he said with a smile.

"I told you he would be hungry when he woke up!" Thorn called to Charmeleon as she got some extra food out. "Char, charmeleon!" he protested, with a look of amusement on his face.

Evan chuckled at what Thorn told Charmeleon. He really was hungery and right now would eat anything and that included pokemon food.

She handed him a hot dog. "If you need catsup or mustard, they're in my bag." she said, shuffling the cards for another round of Jin.

The hot dog was gone even before she finished her sentence. He smiled happly and then took the katchup out of the bag and started to eat it straight out of the bottle. He didn't care if it looked disgusting he was just hungery and would eat anything.

Pikachu and Charmeleon stuck out their tongues in disgust. "Evan! Have some manners! Sometimes I think you were raised by poocheyenas!" Thorn exclaimed, yanking the bottle out of his grasp.

Evan smerked "well I wan't raised by poocheyena but I was tought that you eat what you can" he said as he whiped katchup from his cheek.

Thorn sighed. "I swear, you surprise me more everyday." she said, sitting down next to him.

Evan smerked "and I probably will till all my secrets are revealed and you get to know me better." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

please don't remember what you said before you got pulled into the shadows. Or what Darkrie made me admit. she thought feverishly as she sat there smiling and laughing.

Evan smiled when he heared her laugh. He didn't remember anything before he was taken into the darkness. But he didn't really care since he was still with Thorn. "so where are we headed to?" he asked as he stood up and smiled down at her.

"Um, I'm not sure. We could stay here for awhile." she offered. He looked weaker, more pale than before. she wanted him to rest.

Evan nodded "that sounds good" he said then started to walk into the forest "I am going for a walk" he called over his shoulder and dissappeared into the forest. He stoped after a a few minutes when he knew that Thorn wouldn't be able to see him and leand agenst a tree. He felt a lot weaker and he was gasping for breath. He wasn't fine, infact he was the opposite. But he didn't want Thorn to worry about him so he needed to get away from her for a little while since he couldn't make himself look fine much longer.

"Pikachu, you know what to do." "Pika." Pikachu followed evan secretly.

Evan could hear someone following him but he knew that he couldn't move another step. He slowly began to sink to the ground and sat on the ground leaning agenst the tree trunk. He was still breathing hard and he knew that he couldn't get up even if he wanted to. He felt completely drained and wondered why. This was even worse then what his old owner use to do to him and also wondered how long he could keep himself awake.

Pikachu wondered if Evan was ok. He ran back and told Thorn, who immediatly appeared by Evan's side. "Evan? What's wrong?!" she asked, putting her hand on his forehead.

Evan smirked a little bit. He should have known that it was pikachu. He looked at Thorn and managed a small shrug "I dont know, I just feel weak" he siad softly. His forehead seemed to burn Thorns hand when she put it on his forhead. He looked worse then when he was whipped onhundred times. It was surprising that he was still awake.

"Your head is burning!!! Pikachu! get everyone and get everything cold that you can!" "Pika!" She lay him down and took off his jacket. He still felt burning, but that's when Pikachu and Charmeleon ran back with buckets of water and rags. She lay a wet rag on his head and chest and held his hand.

RIght when Thorn layed him down his concouness started to slip. he had to force himself awake and to keep his eyes open. He smiled when he felt the wet raggs on him and when she held his hand. He managed to looked at Thorn, squeezed her hand and say "dont worry, it is just a minor cold, I will be fine" but you could tell that with each world it brougth him closer to passing out.

"Mild cold? Evan, your running a high-pitch fever!" she squeezed his hand. "Don't worry, you can go to sleep if you want, I'll be right here taking care of you." She out on her best smile and replaced the rag on his head.

Evan smiled and closed his eyes for what he ment to be a minute but he fell asleep as soon as he closed his eyes. He new cool rag on his head made him smile a little bit more and he was glad to have Thorn by his side now.

ok, he's smiling, I think he'll be ok. she thought. Pikachu looked at her anxiously, he wondered what would happen if Evan.... didn't make it.
