Pikachu had gotten up, and Chrameleon managed to fully open his eyes. "Char.... Charmeleon!" With amazing speed he jumped back, startled at Thorn's appearance. Thorn laughed. "Don't worry you guys, it's still me."

Arcanine loocked at Evan and sniffed him over to make sure that it was him. "yes it is us guys, we ran into some trouble." he said as he looked at them.

Thorn explained to the pokemon what had happened. "Did they do anything to you?" she asked worriedly.

Arcanine thought for a moment and shook his head. Evan nodded and patted his head, "looks like they either dont know or they did nothing to them."

"Hmm." Thorn was still worried. Why had it taken so long for them to wake up?

Evan looked over at her, "what are you thinking?" he asked and petted Arcanines head.

"We don't know how long we were asleep after the operation. It could be months from when we last were awake." this had been on her mind for awhile.

Evan nodded, she had a point. "stay here, I am going to find out how long we where away for." he said as he looked at her.

"Are you sure?" she said, looking at him. "You can't go into public like that!"

Evan nodded and walked over to her, "I am going to stay in teh shadows so that they dont see me and I am sure." he said as he looked at her and kissed her gently. "dont worry, I will be carefull."

Thorn sighed. "Ok, you better come back though!" she said, looking into his eyes.

Evan smiled at her, "dont worry I will." he said and then ran off into the forest.

Thorn sighed, and Pikachu climbed into her lap. Charmeleon built up the fire and she snuggled into Arcanine.

Evan soon reached a town and found himsefl walking an all fours in the alleys so that if anyone saw him slightly they would think that he was a pokemon. He walked around quietly and everything seemed different now in the towns.

((howabout..... a year-ish?))

In the warmth of Arcanine's fur, she fell asleep.

Evan walked around quetly and saw new pokemon that he had never seen before comeing out. The pokemon center was as big as ever and he finally grabed a news paper and looked at it. It had been around a year since the last time they where outside. He quickly stuck the paper into his pocked and ran back to Thorn.

Chrameleon looked up from his sitting position and saw Evan. He went to Thorn and woke her up. "Huh...?" she said, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. "Oh, Evan!" she said, yawning.

Evan stoped running and walked over to her. He wasn't even panting from the run, "I just found out that it has been a year since we where outside and in the real world." he said and handed her the paper.

"A YEAR?!" she said in fear, looking at the paper. "What if.. what if there are new pokemon and these pokemon don't exist anymore..." She said, with a worried look at Pikachu and Charmeleon. "They could be extinct!"

Evan nodded, "I think we have to keep them a secret because I saw some of the new pokemon and didn't see any old ones." he said as he looked at her "but they aren't extinct, they are still here and we have to protect them." he said as he looked at her. "but everything is going to be okay"

Thorn sighed but didn't say anything. She yawned again. "Before I can do anything, I need to sleep. It's late and I'm tired." She curled up next to Arcanine with Pikachu again and fell asleep.

Evan smiled and layed down next to her, "yeah we need sleep." he said and yawned slightly.

Charmeleon had a worried look on his face, and moved over to Arcanine. The fire was dying so he blew on it so it came up again.

Arcanine smiled at Charmeleon and then looked around, hey do you really think we are the last of our kind? he aske dcharmeleon

I don't know. Charmeleon said truthfully. But I do know that if we are, we have to stay with our Trainers, and that is all that matters. Pikachu looked up. In a forest like this, my kind should be jumping around like crazy. maybe because it is nighttime, or maybe because they aren't here anymore.
