The Leprechaun films scared me when I was a kid. I still remember how creepy it was, I never had looked at leprechauns the same way again.

Hellraiser.

It may sound pretty tame now...but my mother made me watch it when I was six. It was traumatizing and to this day I can't watch it without freaking the f*** out.

The first one scares me...the second one scares me TO DEATH. I don't watch at that point, I just run.

Hm..it takes a lot to scare me. lol I'm one of those crazies who laugh at the 'scary' movies. XD I'm thinking omg wow that's so fake..you can tell! ..I guess I just have a knack for finding the 'weak link' in a scene. >< ..it does kinda spoil the movie for me. I wouldn't mind enjoying the movie in a I'm scared way, but I can't just..fake it. o-o;

Hm..lessee.. How about the 'weirdest' horror movie I've seen, as a replacement? lol That would be an odd little movie called Boo. It comes on around Halloween time and a few times then. ..basically it is about a haunted hospital..and what happened there. It is full of scenes that are not for the faint of heart~ x3 Same as Ghost Ship, which I found quite sad.

I'm really not one for spoiling a move for others, but I will say this- In Ghost Ship-there's a LOT of ghosts. ..oh..and the one called The Triangle..I believe it was! Basically about the Bermuda Triangle, and a group who sails into those waters, and their experiences with a 'ghost ship' ..it's..very interesting as well. ..hm..Jeepers Creepers! Now that was a funny one. >> I liked the special effects~ Hm..then there's The Haunting in Connecticut..also quite sad. D: By the way, if you scare easy or don't like the sight of 'blood' you wont want to watch any of these, but if you're like me, and flip channels to find them, then these are for you. x3

Oh..you know what are some of the best movies? Zombies! lol They're so silly when they move, and clingy. ..there's one movie on SyFy, came on really late..but it was an interesting zombie movie. Oh! Can't forget The Hills Have Eyes. ..when you think about it, it's sad, because of what the movie is based on. ..there's another one..a 'ghost town' old mining town, and about a family and what they find there..oh..what was it called..? ..they are spooked by a video they find on someone's camera, from 'many years ago'.

Of course there is The Ring and The Grudge. XD ..kinda funny those two..actually quite funny~

..and I think I'm done rambling..lol This is what happens when someone hits one of my interests. XD

Edit- Oh! Those Leprachaun movies..they seemed way too fake, and a waste of my time. >>

When you were six?! Woah... there is no way a six year old could ever digest that movie.

That creepy movie with that Hanibal guy in it. It wasn't scary, but it really freaked me out.

another movie that freaked me out was Man in the Iron Mask. I watched it when I was little and I still have the image in my head of that poor man getting forced to wear that painful mask... *hides under her desk*

I do not watch any slasher films, but I must say the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth creeped me out so much. When I was a child Fidget, the bat from The Great Mouse Detective, scared me. When I first saw both Sleepy Hollow and From Hell, both scared me a little. I;m not good with wounds and innards, so I stay away from most horror films.

uhm i think i'd say Strangers. because that's just flippen creepy. like when the guy was standing behind the curtain or whatever.
It was flippen creepy as all heck.

plus any movie that's based on real events. Just knowing that it actually happened is scary.

Anyone that thinks the Silent Hill movie is scary, should play the games. Because than you'll know what scary means. The movie was not scary at all. Disappointment.

I don't really watch scary movies that much..
I'm not sure why. I just don't like them that much.
I remember that when I watched Sweeney Todd it freaked me out..
But I rather enjoy it now. :3

Hmmm...the only movies that have ever really got to me would be White Noise, because I have an over active imagination and saw stuff EVERYWHERE after that movie. Then The Grudge 2...mostly because it was three am, I was in a dark basement and my brother chose that moment to come home, thus setting off the dogs. I walked up stairs, saw a figure standing on the porch...freaked the fark out. But yeah...that's it. XD

I honestly cannot think of one that was particularly scary..

Stephen King's IT maybe..? But that wasn't really scary. I've watched some of the other films mentioned, such as The Ring, but I didn't really consider them scary. I haven't watched that many horror/scary movies though, so I suppose I'll have to wait and see. :headdesk:

The scariest movie I have ever seen was a compilation of the old Stephen King CreepShows. Now i can't really explain why this was so scary. But I was afraid of stepping on the floor for like a week for fear a giant oil slick would leap up and eat me. Eraserhead was much the same for me- I had auditory hallucinations for like a week from that movie. And I still can't tell you what it was actually about. All I can say is that is was full of David Lynch oddness.

I am also embarrassed to say that the first movie that ever gave me nightmares was Dumbo. Of course I was like 2. I remember being utterly terrified of Pink Elephants for years afterwards. Yep- pink elephants- terrifying.

For me, I'd have to say The Ring. I saw it only once years ago and to this day, I'm still scared to sleep at night at times. I'm deathly afraid of any sort of static. I don't like horror movies, I get nightmares, but The Ring was by far the worst.

Gross? I play Gears of War 2. Nothing will seem gross to me, Unless it's like, Horribly disturbing (E.G the Incident when someone tried to hang themselves , but the neck was so weak the rope cut it off the body because of the weight.)

Well The hanging thing wasn't scary, Just disturbing.

Well, Technically, you'd be trolling to the people who actually like "Hannah Montana". I'm not saying that I'm a fan, I'm just pointing out that saying you don't like "Hannah Montana" doesn't make you any cooler than the next Disney franchise hater.

Just thinking of other people, I'm not meaning this to come off badly, just to influence your further posts into more positive-for-everyone ones.

Alright, back on topic.

As I don't watch much, Screamer was pretty scary at nighttime.

"The Changeling" starring George C. Scott. It's from 1980. Definitely the scariest movie I've ever seen in my life. Although, when I saw it, I was about 15 and staying the night in my friend's haunted house.

The first Alien movie. I just can't handle the whole alien popping out of a mans chest thing. Doesn't matter how many times I watch that movie either. I vaguely remember watching it as a child and being terrified *shudders*.
