Thanks for posting the FAQ video Lostin. The only person (before Tumblr and now) I knew who identified as a "nerdfighter" was pretty elitist about it and it's taken me a while to shake off the idea that I'm not good enough for them/the movement.

Well, that's just not right!! :( Anyone who wants to identify as a Nerdfighter is allowed to. Personally, I don't even watch the VlogBrothers' videos was religiously as most Nerdfighters do, and I'm terrible at math, and I never was all that enthusiastic about Mario. *rolls eyes*

I'm just an all-out nerd.

Those are names I grew up with. Them, as well as Nichelle Nichols, Wil Wheaton, Michael Dorn, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Marina Sirtis, James Doohan, DeForest Kelly, Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden....You get the picture.

Wil Wheaton has grown up to be the ultimate nerd. XD

The only name I recognize there is DeForest Kelly. :shock:

No, I did not, actually. I think I saw a preview of it, but I didn't get to see the episode.

I had to take a break in my Torchwood marathon because it's causing me to become a bit depressed!!! lol. I watched the entire first series and half of the second... in about three days. And that show has VERY little comic relief (compared to Doctor Who, at least) and so much drama and deaths to grieve over.. Whew!! I need to take a break and watch something cheery like "The Lodger", perhaps.

Lost - that's the way I watch it, too. I never could see it when it was on so I just watch it online or netflix.

I thought the second series of Torchwood was pretty funny but I have quite a dry/dark sense of humour. It's not as bad as Children of Earth anyway. XD

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot more comic relief in Series 2 than in Series 1. I still can't watch more than two or three episodes in a row, though. (Which is a shame, cuz that's my favorite way to watch shows)

I don't really have the attention span for marathon viewing. I get distracted far too easily. ^^;

Had a bit of a nerd war in astronomy yesterday. I made the mistake of throwing Doctor Who into the mix with Battlestar Gallactica and Lord of the Rings.
