No way, other Who fans? :insane:

I just joined Menewsha yesterday... I venture into the forums... and I find Who fans. I'm in heaven.

I haven't seen any of the episodes with Martha... but I've seen everything else starting from the Ninth Doctor.

My parents are thinking about buying me pretty much all of the series' for Christmas. Of course, then I'll be watching the Christmas Special... -can't wait-

Some of my all time favorite episodes = The Girl in the Fireplace, Blink, The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances (Those two creep me out... but I love them!) School Reunion (Mostly because of the actor who plays Giles being... well, evil) The Shakespeare Code (So I've seen a few Martha episodes...) The Beast Below, and The Big Bang...

Truthfully, I love Eccleston, Tennant, and Smith, all for the personalities they brought to the Doctor... Eccleston was just awesome, Tennant kind of quirky (This is a fighting hand!) and Smith is almost... psychotic. I sorta like how he changes topics so much.

Phew. Ok, I'm done :)
Hope you guys don't mind me being around.

Welcome Generis, and zeapear, and if there's any more new people I forgot then welcome to them as well!

How come you've not seen Martha's episodes, Generis?

Well, I moved to England nine years ago, but only really got into Doctor Who about... four years ago? A friend of mine and her family are obsessed with Doctor Who, and we started watching Doctor Who from the ninth Doctor everytime I slept over at their house... But they moved before we ever got to the Martha episodes...
And I just never watched them on my own. Though, come to think of it... that would be a good time to pass the time until Christmas...

Ever been to the Doctor Who Exhibition in London? It's pretty cool. I went with said friend and her family before they moved. I still have my ticket =3

Heh, it's cool Zea. I watch some animé on occasion but I totally get not being that into it.

Hallo Sui. I went to the Doctor Who Exhibition in Glasgow last year and I could have gone to the updated one while in Newcastle this year but it's expensive to get into the Life centre. ^^;

Hi Kat, nice to meet you :)
Oh, I hate it when I can't afford to go to something like that... I was all creeped out when I went to the one in London... the first thing you come across is those Manniquens (I have no idea how to spell that...) from "Rose". It was creepy. They kept looking at me :gonk:

Hi Lostin, nice to meet you too! How are you?

I was thinking about going to Doctor Who Live too, but the cheapest tickets are £25 and it's probably aimed at kids anyway.

Heh, in Glasgow you had to walk down a corridor with the Autons along the walls and their arms/heads would twitch every now and again. I was convinced the Weeping Angel statue was going to do something similar. >.<

Yeah... but the Weeping Angels can't move when being observed by any living organism... But the Autons can. So it makes sense that they would twitch. The Weeping Angel just wouldn't be able to move period.

What I found really cool was a big Face of Bo. He didn't move, though. It would have been cool if he could have talked.
Oh! And K9. He didn't move either :(

Haven't seen Smith yet?
I think he's pretty cool. Definately fun. -zips mouth to stop from saying anything else-

Honestly, I can admit I'm torn between the latest three actors. Smith, Tennant, and Eccleston are all amazing, in my opinion. Though... I've never had the chance to watch the old episodes. My Mom loves the fourth Doctor. She won't watch the new ones xD

The new ones are the only ones I've seen enough of to know about them. I've seen like four or five episodes of One though. VERY different from Ten!

Generis: My mom is exactly the same!! Both of my parents, in fact. They refuse to watch any other episodes other than Tom Baker's, because, as they say, "he is the best". But how can they really judge who's the best if they've only seen one Doctor? *sigh*

I've got no idea how much I'd like Baker, as I've never seen any of his episodes in the old series.

Sorry for disappearing on you, Taiyo, and I'm about to again as I'm going to bed... I just wanted to let you know.

Lostin: My Mom grew up watching the Old Doctor Who series', as her parents are British, and she claims Baker as her favorite...

On the plus side: I got my brother and sister addicted! They've only really seen the Smith episodes... and a few of Tennant's, but hey... They're rearing for the Christmas Special. Score!

~Ciao!

Wewt! I love converting people to my various fandoms. Especially Doctor Who. The world needs more Whovians!! haha.

Random:

I've been watching Korean movies on Youtube all day. (Live-action, not anime. I'm not very much into anime....) But anyway, I love them!! They're so cute!! *twirls*
