I just showed my littlest brother the first three episode from Series 1 today. He's 12, so not that*little, though he'll always be 8 at most for me.
He was pretty impressed and was eager to see more. Yay! : D I always love going back to the first series, Eccleston is just.. fantastic (oh, I did go there). And I love, love, love Charles Dickens as portrayed in the third episode.

Though I'm not looking forward to the next two, the Slitheen are definitely not my favourite aliens. Blagh.

I'd heard it too, but it's funny people are still talking about the mega-reunion when I thought the BBC were being pretty negative about it. :/

The slitheen are just an extended fart joke. It's one of the moments when it's far too obvious the new series is being aimed at a younger demographic.
