I always tell people that if they've seen Flight of the Conchords, The Mighty Boosh is kiiiinda similar, I think.. it's more production, but it is about two different friends, who are at least after the first season trying to make it as musicians and just failing epically, but having amazing adventures on the way.
-Butts in- The FOTC show is basically something the they stitched together using already composed musical numbers as the basis. You can easily get just as much enjoyment out of the music alone.
Here's a taste:
Still haven't watched anything of FOTC, at some point I will.
Spend last night in a spamming ONTD post spamming it with Tennant Who, mostly all christmas related, and some of his outside work. Man, he does a lot of drag and got some great legs.
Sad to find out my family does not have BBC America anymore, need to find a place online for Who Christmas special.
I watched it in high quality on ClickPotato. It's completely free, doesn't make you take surveys, and is legal. You just have to put up with pop-up ads that evade even the best of ad-blockers. I've only seen one ad so far, though. And that seems a fair bargain.
I said "Yay, Rory!" when Arthur's name was in the credits and my mum looked at me like I was crazy. XD
Aww, I'm sad ClickPotato isn't legit. It just sounds nice. I was surprised how many websites do offer legal free TV when I was re-watching The League of Gentlemen this year. There look- I'm steering the conversation towards British comedy again!
I googled "clickpotato" and the first page is mostly spyware removal sites telling you how to get rid of it. I'm wary by nature so I'd most likely avoid it but if it's not causing any problems then that's a good thing.
Biggles' sig looks like a comic from Hark! A Vagrant to me. I really need to read through them one day. ^^;
Kat is right, it's Kate Beaton's work over at Hark, A Vagrant! I cut it down from a series of comics that was done last year, I think. It's definitely in the archives.
MSN Video is legal. Blinkbox is legal. ^_~
I can't use Hulu which is a pain sometimes. I've had to download things in the past that I know are on there.
I have a theory about River Song!!! Not sure if any of you heard it or not (I hadn't before but you might have) that River Song is the Tardis. Not the Tardis exactly but sort of an echo of the Tardis put in human form or something like that. Basically, the Tardis but not a hundred percent since we couldn't have the Doctor without his blue box!
It explains how she can fly the TARDIS so well without him having taught her (which she insisted)
It also explains how she can translate ancient Gallifreyan language and all the other languages (since the Tardis can translate everything).
It really explains her intimate feelings towards him (since he and the TARDIS are in love!) and how she knows his name.
It explains why she trusts him completely without any doubt
It explains the whole "I killed a really great man" thing makes sense since the TARDIS exploding unwrote the Doctor (essentially killing him)
And it expolains how even though everyone else forgot the Doctor, River still knew and left the diary for Amy.
