Jovial - That picture's hilarious.
Kat - That's interesting!
But... Tim is going to be Bilbo. Well, actually, yeah, I guess that works. He looks hobbity and Bilboish.

Martin Freeman is Tim in The Office. He's pretty badass in real life. He's like a tiny (7 inches taller than me) man that speaks his mind and doesn't take crap from anyone.
Sassy Gay Friend is brilliant. This is the best your hair has ever looked!

Laaate, but thank you, Jovial. I love my current signature as well. Welcome to the thread. T'would seem you came at a good time.
P.S. The Tennant/ Hobbit story made the MSN UK homepage, it would seem.
Also this! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-12134635

That'll be... interesting. I don't see them working well as a fictional couple, but a sparring/bantering one, yeah, I think that could work.

Sassy Gay Friend Meme <- I've probably lost hours of my life looking through those.
Catherine and David were adorable on Breakfast. If I win the lottery any day soon (it would be especially lucky considering I don't buy tickets) I'll schedule a trip to my first West End show. XD
They've released more details about Torchwood. Televisionary: Day of the Dead: Inside Torchwood: Miracle Day. It has a different name and everything now. Still trying to reserve judgement until I actually see it.

Well, I think it's all rather very cool. Much Ado About Nothing is one of my absolutely favourite Shakespearean comedies.
Not to sure about the David angle, but I think Catherine will make a great Beatrice.

Ooh, I'm actually gonna be reading Much Ado About Nothing in the very near future!! Yesterday was the first day of my Shakespeare class, and the syllabus listed that as the first play we'd be covering in this course. I'm so excited! But now I'm going to be imagining the character looking and speaking exactly like David Tennant. (I've never seen any film adaptations, so I've got a blank slate, if you will, in my imagination when it comes to this particular work.) But anyway, it'll be strange because our next play we're doing for that class is HAMLET, and I have watched a film adaptation, which was --you guessed it!-- David Tennant's version. lol.

Haha. Well, he's certainly going to be dominating that class for you. Not a bad thing, mind.
I've always imagined Benidick as having a large form, with a lot of swagger. Somewhat less subtle than Mr. Tennant usually seems to be.
I hope you have a rollicking good time with it. The crackling dialogue is something to be relished. If you can volunteer to read for Beatrice in class, I'd go for it. I still remember it fondly. Though, I had a good Benidick to play off of.
And Hamlet. A different subject entirely. Ophelia, Ophelia, Ophelia....

Didn't Emma Thompson play Beatrice in one of the film versions? I simply can't imagine how a character played by Emma Thompson could also be played by Catherine Tate, lol. But then, the only thing I've ever seen Thompson in is Sense and Sensibility -- and her character in that was far from the "witty banter" type. Forgive my total Austen-iety (word coinage! yay!!), but Beatrice looks like more of a Lizzy Bennett than an Eleanor Dashwood. So my brain is just having trouble imaging Emma Thompson in that role. :XD
Hehehe, yeah, I remember reading Merchant of Venice aloud in highschool. "My daughter, my ducats!"

Yep. That sassy old world charm. Definitely more of Lizzy Bennett type.
Now I want to watch the cow version of the Merchant of Venice, a la Monty Python...

Macbeth on the Estate is where it's at. It's Macbeth... but on an estate. There's drugs too, lots of drugs.
When I think of Emma Thompson I just think of the Footlights pictures with her in and expect her to have been more of a comedy actress when she's done all sorts.
They've moved the Gatiss Who episode into the second half of the series. ;_;

Wow, wow, wow. I just watched Stranger than Fiction and I DID NOT even recognize Emma Thompson til the last half hour of the movie. Haha. She is DEFINITELY an amazing actress. I'm really impressed. It's nice to see there are still good actresses in the world. (Generally in today's Hollywood, only actors have the real talent, and actresses are just famous for their looks. It annoys me to no end.)

This is just speculation/gossip, but I read that Georgia Moffet might be pregnant. >> David Tennant is officially maybe a babydaddy-to-be.

I think it's just the coat. But I'm not sure... certainly not discarding the possibility.
Plus, it's been so long since I chatted on this board, I think I'm choking on the dust.
