I can't wait for the next Dr. Who movie/special I really like Tennant's Doctor, I'm going to miss him. But truthfully I have never been disappointed by a new Doctor.

I only got into DW when it started with the 9th Doctor (I think I was about 10 or 11 at the time) but I've enjoyed it so far and certainly wasn't dissapointed by David Tennant *swoon* XD

Last night I had a dream about Cybermen. The situations were scary but I don't remember actually feeling scared. XD
Really, I should just sleep more.
I'm looking forward to Eleven; I think each of the Doctors so far has brought something different to the role. ^^

I heard there can only be 12 doctors though, which is NOT good. Although then again, the Master found a way, didn't he? Hopefully the Doctor will too. I couldn't live without the knowledge that at somepoint there will be anothe DW series! XD

Heh, when I think about the limit it makes me think about the old Comic Relief sketch where the Doctor runs out of regenerations... I'll see if I can find it on youtube.
Ta-da! It's here. It's nearly 20 minutes long though. XD

I hate it when I have a Doctor Who dream .It usually involves Daleks. Though I did have one where I was trying to convince The Doctor that I was the resident ghost of the TARDIS.

That all reminds me of the cartoon that was in a progamme guide at a Dr. Who/Hitchhikers Guide to The Universe con I went too.
It was right after the Search for Spock came out. Anyway the Doctor is standing over the torpedo coffin and it has opened up with Spock sitting up and he's saying to the Doctor "What do you mean only 12 more times?" rofl lmao It still cracks me up

Hey Kidalana. ljos makes threads for most events, I think the first TARDIS thread was an event thread. At least you're here now. ^^
Hillary: I was just being attacked by two Cybermen and then being in a room with a lot of them. It was dark for most of the time anyway. Daleks might be scarier though. O_o

I just thought . . .
If the Doctor ever regenerates as a child . . .
Would a policeman try to take him into custody to look for his parents?
Or for delinquency? (being a child, out on the streets, likely during school hours . . .)

I've wondered about this before. Thing is, with Doctor Who it's so easy for them to change the rules. Either the rules are old and they can ignore them, or they can blame it on the Time War, or time travelling, or, you know, whatever.
I think.. since the Master managed to cheat on his 12-bodies-rule, it's probably a rule rather than a biological thing? And since all the other Time Lords are dead, it probably wouldn't be difficult for the Doctor to cheat on it too. Or I'm guessing that's what will happen since the show is so popular and they're not going to end it anytime soon.
Though there is that thing where the Doctor gets younger and younger...
Awesome dreams guys, by the way. I don't think I've had a proper DW dream yet, though probably something in the spirit of it (running around chasing aliens or something).

Well the 13 regenerations was more a rule that the Time Council enforced than a biological limitation ,( it could be that the youthening effect is why the rule was created to avoid childish-looking Time Lords, but the first three transformations went old to younger to older to younger then the pattern of getting younger started) but now there is no Gallefrey so there's no council. So the rule is a moot point don't you think?
Since the Doctor is the only Time Lord, HE is the council especially since he is the last council member left (Tom Baker's Doctor was made President of the Council in one of his last episodes).

Yes. So do I.
But I was wondering because of the youth thing.
That he keeps getting younger and younger with each regeneration.
AND!
Have y'all seen this?
Hilarious with Rose at the end of it!

Oh that is so cute but it's a bit out of date, since there's been like a couple companions since Rose.
I just know a lot about it becasue I'm older than you are.
I was a member of a Docter Who fan club back in the eighties.

There's heaps of Betamax players on eBay, but they're surprisingly expensive. Looks like a lot of people have old tapes they want to watch.

The problem is beta max was the top of line and supposed to have eventually replace vhs. It was HD tape. But the company making it got greedy and that's what killed it. We have gotten a couple from here and there but they never work.
