I watched Confidential this morning. I like the new style, they talk through some of the events of the episode as well as just the making of/behind the scenes stuff. Toby Haynes (director) seems like a pretty cool guy and Matt seems insistent on interrupting everyone else's interviews. XD
THE DOCTOR WILL NEVER DIE! THE BEEB MAKES TOO MUCH MONEY ON THAT SHOW TO JUST END IT! :illgetu:
Haha, but seriously. Steven Moffat will find a way for the characters to sort out this pickle. And I really do like the whole thing with the Doctor having to put his trust in his companions for once, rather than vice-versa.
Also, River is officially kickass.
I had to go back and watch "Silence in the Library" again, too. The scene where Ten meets her for the first time, that is. It's so much sadder now that we can see her perspective. *sniff* I can really put myself in her shoes, and yeah, it would REALLY suck if you had this amazing relationship with someone and then one day they just didn't know who the hell you were.

It's been uploaded onto Comcast On Demand. I'll watch it tonight if I don't crash and burn after coming home from hospital. Apparently they've got a whole British section up due to the Royal Wedding. I'm going to be keeping myself busy.
I have an exam on the day of the Royal Wedding. However happy I am for them I don't feel like I need to watch 8 hours of coverage of it anyway. I'll probably watch the Gypsy version and the Giles and Sue version instead.
Taiyo, your avatar reminds me a bit of a Harpie Lady. ^^;
If I looked that sassy I'd totally photoshop myself into fandom manips.
Taiyo: Just the combination of the red hair, pointy ears, grey skin and smirk. The cloak could be kind of like wings too. Also I'm crazy and possibly half-blind.
Heh, it was just one of those things where my brain went "Harpie Lady!" and then when I looked at the pictures they were nothing like the idea in my head.
The Doctor definitely won't die. Like others have said/basically said, he's too important of a cultural icon for the end to be decided like this (saying that it'll be soon, with this Doctor). Besides, we'd have heard of it other ways (rumors of cancellation, or at least a new Doctor) They'll write their way out of it. Wibbley wobbley timey wimey.
Can't decide whether they're using the wibbley wobbliness to play with possibilities more, if they're just using it as a cheap trick to get us worked up without anything actually happening...
And speaking of wibbley wobbley, why is it that any time there's time travel in a show, they always make one character be the stupid audience surrogate who has to have the most simple concepts explained to them five times? Like the thing with River. I don't remember if it was Amy or Rory, but one of them just could not seem to fathom that River was from the Doctor's future. There are some wibbley wobbley aspects of Doctor Who that are headache-inducing, but that's definitely not one of them. She met him, did whatever with him mysterymystery, then a Doctor from the past, before what she's experienced, met her and that's the current Doctor. What's the future for the Doctor has already happened for River. That's not complicated! That's time travel 101. :gonk:
Lost, I agree, after watching that I wanted to go back and watch the library one. :lol: But... ugh, too sad, maybe another time.
I just feel like they'd have to break some of the really core rules of Doctor Who if they're going to break this one.. he was killed while in the middle of a regeneration, it's likely that River actually did go back in time in the suit to do it because of the way he talks to the astronaut and all and he can't interfere with his own timeline! It's just.. too much! How are they going to get around that?? :gonk:
Ugh the Royal Wedding.. I seriously cannot understand how it is such a big deal. People get married all the time! These people are rich and inbred and suddenly everyone's going insane? I'll be fleeing London anyway for the weekend.. going to Edinburgh to see my friend, who I haven't seen in ages! We're going to a Beltane fire festival, I'm really excited! :D
