I like the TARDIS element of the new logo, but not the 'Doctor Who' text itself. There's a little video of it moving on the official Who site.

I think I'll need time for the tardis thingy to grow on me. As for the new logo.. Not so much.

I think I prefer the old diamond logo the this new one. It's kind of bland looking if you ask me.

Hmm, I suppose it can seem a bit over simplified but I believe it works. Maybe they did that in contrast to try to play off the complexity of the show itself? Could be that I just analyze things way too much as well also and that is has absolutely no bearing on the reason what-so-ever :) In any case, a little over half-way through the first season know and even more deeply engrossed than when I started. It does make me curious to get watching the original in full force and not just piece mealing it when I had seen it in my youth though just to have a sense of where it came from.

I just watched the trailers for Waters of Mars on the BBC website again (I assume they're on youtube too for the people outside the UK) and it looks better than I remember. Angry!Doctor is the best.

I think they've been up for about a month now, I just haven't taken the time out to look at them.

The Waters of Mars is the name of the next Doctor Who special. I don't even have a TV so I'll have to watch it on iPlayer after it's been on. ^^;

I can't wait for the next DW special. I'd go mad from DW withdrawl if it weren't for the specials.

Kat, your links are making me depressed, I think the pictures look terrible. D: I'm trying to tell myself they're probably just bad snaps, but.. ehhh. Trying not to think about it too much, I bet the show will continue to be great. But I can't help feeling a bit nervous, haha.
And the logo is quite bland.. the DW Tardis looks okay, but it's all a bit boring.

I got my little brother addicted to Doctor Who over the summer so I left all my DW DVDs back home for him to watch. Regretting it now, of course. >.<

Ah, that's awesome. I have some episodes on my computer and I think I could probably catch some at the BBC website? But I don't like watching things on my laptop. It's tiny and the screen is permanently smudgy and it gets too hot and uncomfortable, et cetera.
But if I do get the urge for Doctor Who, I've got the last series as well as the Easter special and a little Classic Doctor as well. : )

If there's a specific ep I want to watch I think they have the box sets at the library in town. Now I'm thinking about it I really want to rent them. Maybe next week I will...

I'm sure the TV trailers with the date for the last special only came on a few days before so I guess they just like springing these things on people.

Aw it's just that I am going to get SO EXCITED while watching, if the other person isn't a big fan as well it'll just be stupid because they'll be spending time thinking I'm absolutely insane and I'll be distracted by their lack of attention and excitement. xD

I wish I had lovely weather... either that or I wish I was sick so that I didn't have to walk around in the rain. Stupid British Weather. We may have DW, but we also have rain, wind and sufficient lack of warmth >.<
