sooo hi... *is a first time poster in this thread*
i was poked and prodded and thus convinced that doctor who was something i needed to watch and finally took the advice!

just started season three... don't really care for martha jones much yet, but like the 10th doctor i'm sure she'll grow on me :P
i think rose was a very good companion, but i am biased since she is the only one i've seen on a regular basis :sweat:
and on that note, i love the 9th doctor!!! i think tennent is ok, and he makes a very quirky doctor, but i highly prefer eccleston! :D

Poor Eccleston gets marginalized so often. Glad someone likes him.

Eccleston was my favorite for a long time. But eventually Tennant took his place and he's the one who I currently consider to be "my Doctor". But Smith is really awesome as well. He's gaining on Tennant, actually. So needless to say, I don't think you need to keep the same favorite for all eternity. Mine keep shifting, it seems!

I certainly like Smith. But Baker continues to be my favourite.

i saw the 11th doctor on the craig ferguson show... he seems ok... but i have to play catch up first :P

Oh, Martha's wonderful. She's my second favorite companion. Really, she's quite smart and she holds her own very well. Some companions spend their entire time getting into trouble and being incapable of putting anything together, but Martha was clever.

The 10th Doctor is "my" Doctor. :heart: The 11th is quite entertaining and I quite like him, but he's just no 10. 9 was good, but much of the writing in that season was iffy as the show got its sea legs, so I don't think we got to see his full potential.

Hmmm. Eccleston is underrated? I'm excessively fond of his goof and charm-- even despite the sea legs of season 1. I am glad that you love the 9th Doctor! He was my first Doctor as well. :heart:

I have difficulty choosing between incarnations of the Doctor, actually. I only know the 9th, 10th and 11th. It took me a little longer to warm up to Tennant than to Eccleston or Smith. Do you know when he truly won my heart? The first time he got really, really angry in defense of Rose. Oh, when the Doctor shows his temper. :drool:

It's so rare. But it's always kind of badass.

Good form Colors! So far, I prefer Eccleston'sa incarnation the most as well. I NEED to get my hands on some older Who, though. I have a feeling that I'd love Baker's version the most, but that's just because he seems so quirky and...dat scarf... :drool:

There's actually an item on Gaia that has a scarf that looks mysteriously like Baker's scarf....

There are items on Gaia, to my knowledge, that are based off of many things. There are even items that are roughly based off of memes used on 4chan for example.

I know. There's items based off of Star Trek, and of course I've got them! Well, the red shirt at least.

I've seen people who have knitted their own Tom Baker scarves but I don't have the necessary talent.
