Living in Glasgow for a few weeks has made me all but forget what 'dry' was like.

Apparently Waters of Mars was on imdb saying it would be shown on the 14th of November, but I can't find it now and nowhere else has a date.
The cast for The End of Time (Christmas special) is up though if you like hints/spoilers.

Witty, I am in the UK too, you know. :Ž It was fairly sunny during the weekend here, though interspersed with rainy-looking clouds. I bet tomorrow will be all rainy and boring, just when I'm getting well enough to be out and about. (Pessimistic, me? Never!)

Kat, I'm sure I've seen the character list for the Christmas specials before, and I promised myself I wouldn't be looking at them again. Too much overheating of the brain trying to guess what everyone was doing in it. xD

Hallo again Taiyo!

The episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures with Ten are next Thursday and Friday if anyone is interested. I might look them up on iPlayer so hopefully they'll make them easily accessible for people who don't follow the series. ^^;

Hello Taiyo, how are you?

I've never seen the Sarah Jane Adventures.. Ten might make it worthwhile checking out though, if I remember..

Witty, no problem. P: I'm not actually British, just crashing your country to study art and enjoy the Big City life.

Guhh, I have such a horribly nasty cough, it's driving me insane. To top it all, I'm bored to death but I don't want to risk going out for fear of making the cough even worse. D:

Hey everyone! I looked for a DW thread my first day on Menewsha. ^_^ Don't know why this one didn't show up... oh well, I'm here now! "OHyes!"

Here's some questions, to hopefully get the topic back on Who. :)

How you were first introduced to DW:
my parents watched the Tom Baker episodes. And a few years ago a friend at camp delivered the amazing news that there was a new series I just *had* to watch. :D
Favorite Doctor?
Ten. It has to be Ten. He's pretty much the Tom Baker of this generation. xD
Favorite writer?
Stephen Moffat!!!! Check out this comic, hehehe. http://spune-who.deviantart.com/art/...brary-97407378

First Introduced:
My boyfriend basically made me watch some Christopher Eccleston and I was hooked.
Favorite Doctor(s):
4, 9 and 10. :3
Favorite Writer:
STEPHEN MOFFAT WROTE BLINK!? He has my vote! :insane:
That comic made me chuckle.

Yeah, it seems like Stephen Moffat writes all the creepy ones! And the ones with the cool catch phrases! lol

Hey lost, glad you could make it here! : )

I still have mixed feelings about Moffat, but I'm going to reserve judgment till I see the new series.
Maybe I'll just watch some Who today, since I'm not allowing myself outside..

I never really pay much attention to the writer. And even if I did I'd have forgotten by the next morning ^^'

Haha yeah, I normally wouldn't, but my friend who introduced me to the show (and with whom I watched all the new series) has a lot of opinions about the writers of each show so he would always point the writer out to me when we were watching. :P Otherwise I probably would never have even noticed, haha.

Well today I was bored so I watched "Father's Day" and "Human Nature"... I love the emotional episodes, lol. That's one thing Stephen Moffat doesnt seem to be able to write as well as some of the others. His spooky episodes are great, though!

Some of my favourite Doctor Who stories were written by writers who have only ever wrote one or two episodes like Matt Jones who wrote The Impossible Planet and The Satan Part. However, he also wrote one of my least favourite episodes of Torchwood (Dead Man Walking). ^^;

Ah, I've just watched The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Mad Woman in the Attic Part 1 and 2 and it was surprisingly good. How did they find so many kids who can act?
(you get a glimpse of Ten at the very end in the 'next time...' bit too)

I love The Impossible Planet/Satan Pit, and Human Nature/The Family of Blood! They're among my top favourites.

I've been watching Doctor Who and True Blood all day - been keeping in bed, hoping to get better from this damn cold. Only series I have is the fourth series so I've just watched the first five episodes of that. Oh, but I have missed Donna, I haven't seen any of the fourth series in what feels like way too long. :)

Next Thursday and Friday. ^^

From the BBC listingsX

Quote:
29 Oct 2009 16:35 BBC One
The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith Part 1
1/2. The Doctor returns on the happiest day of Sarah Jane's life, but a deadly trap awaits.

30 Oct 2009 16:35 BBC One
The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith Part 2
2/2. The Doctor joins the battle, but is he too late to save both Sarah Jane and the Earth?

I think all of the episodes from series 3 are on iPlayer now but I've just accidentally watched the two stories so far the wrong way round.

+ Hope you get well soon ljos.

Hahaha, maybe. But I think it's probably just all the black that made me think of it. Like when Martha joined up with them, she started wearing black all the time, lol. And also the eyepatch adds to it, somehow. Idk.. XD

Aha! Mystery solved! "Our hero coats," Barrowman called them in an interview. Did you see that one where he told about how he and David Tennant would compete as to who could run faster in the running scenes? ^.^
