The girl didn't even have anything do with the song, anyway. It's a vanity company. They write songs and stuff, some rich parents pay to have their princess in a video, and she picks out a song and does it. So not one bit of the song or video can even be blamed on her. Then you could go to say that she's not a good singer, but how can you even tell? They've auto-tuned every second of that video so badly that I really have no clue what she actually sounds like. I did see an interview or something where she said she'd been taking vocal lessons since she was really little, though. So I'm sure she sounds just fine... I wonder why they auto-tuned her. Anyway, there's nothing in how horrible that song/video is that can even be blamed on her. And even if there was, come on, she's 13!
I agree with Cherry. I watched it, couldn't stnad it so I turned the thing off without leaving a comment. The song is horrible, the tuning is horrible and it's overall absolutely terrible but I don't see the point in leaving a stupid comment that just reflects badly on not just me but the whole thing. I mean, taking it from a manager's point of view "Even bad publicity is good publicity" so by leaving a comment it's just playing into their hands. Constructive criticism is good but some of the hate-messages I saw when I was on the vid were just ridiculous and there were so many of them. Do these people not have a life? Why do they feel the need to do it? I just get it. I don't like it adn I wish the song hadn't been made or put on youtube but that doesn't mean I'm gunna start screaming at the kid.
Me and my friends often make fun of it (we do that quite a lot) but none of us has actualy posted something as stupid as a hate-message. For example one of the things that we have decided is that if Rebecca Black and Justin Beiber sing a song together it will be the main cuase of any apocylipse that occurs in the new few years. It's one of our favourite senarios.
I can't find many good pictures, but here you go. This one is better lit, but you can't see as much of his hair. Between the two, I think that makes one good photo.
The blonde makes him look more youthful, I think, which worked well for this role. But I agree, I think dark hair looks a bit better on him. At least it's not... this...
What is that style? Balding Conan O'Brien?
After seeing that, I had to go look up what he had played Lennon in. I never knew about that! I'll have to watch it sometime. He looks much more like Lennon in that picture than I would have thought possible for him.
EDIT: Holy! And Naoko Mori (Tosh from Torchwood) played Yoko! That is... a weird coincidence.
And now for the latest in "Weird Doctor Who Stuff"... Flesh Goo Pod. Making a slime toy out of the Flesh? Lazy, but okay. Burnt-looking bits of an 11 figurine jammed in there? What.

Yeah, Eccleston looked a lot like John Lennon in that movie, but his voice doesn't sound like him. His speaking voice, I mean. But he'll always sound like the Doctor to me. :XD
Aww the song and gif made me smile. ^____^ Does anyone know what that song is called? I love it so much, it always makes me happy when it's on in the show.
I'm kind of having a brain fart, but it's either similar to or it IS The 11th Doctor's Theme? But like I said, right now I'm having a brain fart... It may have a different name, or that might just be a redo of it for the 11th. But I seriously don't remember ever hearing it before Smithy.
Biggles - Yeah, some spoilers at the very end, so not good for people who haven't seen The Impossible Astronaut yet. I don't think anyone here hasn't yet, though.
The Doctor used to use guns? :gonk:
Oh, hey, everybody. USA citizens who watch Doctor Who on television legally. YOU'VE SEEN A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR NOW, WHY AREN'T YOU TALKING ABOUT IT?! IT WAS AAAHH

Yeah that's the song Cherry, thanks! I love the highest rated comment on it!

"You hear that theme music? I'm going to grin and well, there may or may not be sonicing involved, haven't decided yet. But watch out! Because like bowties and stetsons and fez's (oh my!) it will be cool."
It just makes my heart pound a little bit faster with excitement every time I hear it. And I may grin like an idiot.
Yeah, when I watched season 5 in something like a week, it got to the point where I was kind of humming the song every time it came on. Or if I felt my trip to the kitchen was going to be particularly perilous.
Yeah, I think that is the eleventh Doctor's theme. At the beginning, anyway. Then it turns into sort of a medley of a bunch of different music from Smith's seasons.
I watched AGMGTW on youtube the day after it aired. Maybe that's what we all did...?
