Doctor Who... MMO? *dies of happiness*

SERIOUSLY. If it's even remotely good, I'll probably lose a month to it.

I need to stop looking at the post your pictures thread. I swear, every time an especially attractive person posts their picture, they always ruin the whole thing by going "I'm so ugly I'll probably take this down later so it won't hurt your eyes blah blah blah" and I just go "...ugh. That attitude just made you look a lot uglier." Why do people do this? Do they actually think people will think they're more attractive if they keep whining about how they think they're ugly? It's only fishing for compliments, and it's really annoying. :/

*breathes* Okay, I'm done ranting. Congrats Taiyo on making it to 11! Hope you'll enjoy it as much as the rest of us have. :D I'm stuck reading A Game of Thrones now.. I really should've waited with it. I'm at home for just three weeks and I've been here just over a week.. most of that time has been spent at home, reading. It's addictive, I tell you! Going to start watching the series once I'm done with the book..

The line of thinking is probably "if I say bad things about myself, then you can't." That or fishing for compliments, it would depend on the person. But hell, if you think you look bad, why are you taking a picture of yourself? :lol: I think I'm far from gorgeous, but... that's why my facebook picture is a cat, not fifteen pictures of me making faces into a mirror.

I think every person is beautiful, but confidence and character are such big parts of that beauty. If you keep downplaying yourself, then nobody else is going to believe you're beautiful either. Everybody has beauty in them, but some people insist on hiding it.. why?? >.<

I hope my laptop or it's potential replacement are capable of playing the Who MMO. Finally a community I might not be terrified of joining.

Heh, some people I went to school with have horrible attitudes online. One posts pictures of herself on Facebook with comments like "you only hate me because im prettier than you". So it's either the arrogance or false insecurity. :roll:

Kat - ... Oh nooo. I hadn't even considered system requirements... but I can usually handle free online MMOs. I was even able to play MapleStory... so hopefully my computer can handle it.

It just depends how graphics intensive the MMO is going to be. My laptop would lag heavily until it crashed trying to play The Adventure Games. :/

There's a Torchwood based Texts from the Hub as well. There's texts from about everywhere you can imagine on Tumblr.

Hopefully there'd be a way to adjust the quality. I know with Gaia MMO there was a way to block some of the animations with an adblocker, which made it less laggy.

Since no one's mentioned this yet... We had discussed a while ago the rumors that David Tennant might be in The Hobbit in the role of Thranduil. The role ultimately went to someone else. However, interestingly enough, Sylvester McCoy (the 7th Doctor) got a role. Only aiding my theory that every major UK-based production will have a Doctor Who actor in it. :lol:

Hey, it's that guy out of that thing I didn't watch. I need to re-read The Hobbit to remember exactly who everyone is. McCoy will have to represent for the Whovians! We're even taking over New Zealand based productions.

The first official pictures have slain me. I just can't get over Martin Freeman. I want a miniature version of him to keep in a box. Wow, that sounds creepy.
