Hmmmm.... *tries to remember* I believe it's from one of the "Doctor Who: Greatest Moments" specials. Probably the episode about the companions.

Well I havent seen the whole thing either, just bits and pieces on youtube. Theyre not allowed to put up the entire thing. And I dont have the Sci-Fi Channel so I have no chance of ever seeing it on TV. *sighs* Whyyyyy can't they have Doctor Who on PBS like they used to? T_T

that is one think I can answer. The BBC is asking an exorbenant prices for the rights to the series and PBS can't afford the cost.

That stinks. Yeah, if I remember aright, it was the older (think Tom Baker old!) episodes that they used to air on PBS. And this was in the 1990s, when those were already considered to be old re-runs. *sighs*

Heh, I love this coat. As soon as they were reduced I went and finally bought one.

The first series of SJA is on iPlayer now. I'm not sure if I'm going to like Maria though since her replacement, Rani, is pretty awesome.

.. And what, exactly, is that exorbitant price based on?

And does anyone know whether the Sci-Fi - excuse me, Syfy ::rolls eyes:: - channel will air the new season/specials?
Because that's my only access to ANYthing Dr Who/Dr-related. I have no BBC America.

Urgh, SyFy. That's ridiculous. Why did they change its name again, to be more modern?

Anyways, I have no idea. I rarely watch TV. >∆>

It is supposed to be on SYFY but I'm not sure when. Possibly during the holidays (crosses fingers hoping.)

During during?
Cause if it's on Christmas day, I won't be able to watch it at all, and I don't even have anything to record it on.
I'll be with my family all day. Our gatherings typically start at 11am and don't end until people start to go home around 9-10pm.

This is why I missed last year's.

I don't have a TV so I'll be watching it on iPlayer later.

My family never watches Doctor Who on Christmas Day, we either record it or watch the repeat later. ^^;

I remember you saying you were interested ljos. It sounds like it's going to be genuinely scary. I thought they'd tone it down for the kids. -_-

+ No bother, I've started checking Blogtor Who for news anyway. They always seem to get the best pictures too.

I think I'll add the dates to the front page of the thread. Also, I've made a Special Event Thread for all you wonderful Doctor Who fans. : D
