SPOILERS ABOUT WoM BELOW!!! (highlight to read)
~~~~~
I just hope that he isnt all frantic and stuff during his entire last episode...... we should get to see some nice happy Ten scenes before he regenerates.... Hmph.
~~~~~
....And this is a bit irrelevant, but it's also sort of interesting how we can't say for certain whether there will be a limit on how many times the Doctor can regenerate. The 2nd Doctor has been quoted as saying that apart from decapitation, Time Lords are immortal.... But then in the era of the 4th Doctor, the idea of regeneration limitations was introduced. Supposedly they can only regenerate 12 times. That may have seemed a far while off back then, but as we approach our 11th Doctor now, you gotta wonder--- will BBC somehow find a loophole so they can give the Doctor a way to regenerate more times? There are other alien species which have 100's of lifespans, according to Tardis Wiki. So, perhaps in some other kind of Meta-Crisis mix-up that created the half-timelord Donna, maybe the Doc could also get himself some extra lives by some crazy means. Anything is possible in sci-fi. :)

I was wondering that myself, in his Fourth Romana made a point to say he was getting old, and that was way back then. I haven't seen a lot of the older doctors just random eps. But because there are so many different writers they tend to contradict each other, so there really no telling I vaugly remember hearing something about some other timelord reading the last of his regenaration. I seriously doubt they would ever give Doctor who a serious ending just so someone else can pick it up if they so wish.
I've just finished watching Waters of Mars now. Bless you iPlayer... even if the subtitles did go really tiny after the first 10 minutes or so for some reason.
If anyone wants to bounce thoughts off me- go ahead. ^^
Yeah, I think it will be! I really wonder how much Donna will be in it... it seems Wilf has a pretty large-ish part, but Donna might just appear in a few scenes.....
1) If Donna appears but she still has her memories of the Doctor erased, so nothing really new or exciting happens with her, and she is just sort of...there... because it's the season finale 'n all. (Like the young Rose walking with Jackie)
2) If the Tenth Doctor acts oddly and makes poor decisions for the remainder of his time, until he eventually repents and, you guessed it, regenerates. Leaving us with a tear-jerking but also somewhat disappointing last episode for Ten. :(
3) If there are no companions who are present for the regeneration, because I always like to see a companion having to get accustomed to the change (it makes me feel better about having to get accustomed to it myself!!!) I'd love to see either an old companion or a new one see him regenerate and get to see his little commentaries on his new self. XD
4) My last fear is that the regeneration will not be lighthearted, and it'll be a rather rushed, urgent sort of thing because he is still in the middle of a dire situation and has no time to comment on his new self. Peace-time regenerations, please!!! lol
Heh, sorry for disappearing. Half-hearted attempt to get some work done.
I like the spoiler tags a bit too much.X
Meh, I like it when there's a few not so happy moments. I'd say WoM struck me as more depressing then scary to be honest. The crew of Bowie Base One were all great characters (except Mia... did they forget to give her a personality?) so watching them become infected/die one by one isn't easy viewing.
I like angry!Doctor. Power crazed "Time Lord Victorious" Doctor was a pleasant surprise and him realising the consequences of his actions didn't seem too cheesy like it might have been.
+ On a less serious note- was I only person waiting for Adelaide/Yuri/Mia to ask "Um, how are we going to explain how we just apparently teleported back to Earth?".
