I don't recall seeing that before. Do share if you ever find it.
(side note: don't google "matt smith mask" hoping that'll turn up photos of matt smith in a mask.)

They sell cardboard masks of every celebrity who ever lived now in cheap shops, it's slightly disturbing.

If anyone cares, Simon Woods played Mr. Bingley in Pride & Prejudice (2005), and Dr. Harrison in Cranford. He's a natural ginger!

I am still none-the-wiser due to the gaping 'Classics' shaped hole in my knowledge. I did Google the bloke first time but I wouldn't want a judge an actor by looks alone.

The next issue of Doctor Who Adventures comes with a cyberman head for growing cress in. Just when you think you've seen everything...

Oh man, I want that cyberhead. And I haven't read any of the books Kirin. Are they any good?
(I kind of want to read the one by Stephen Baxter though, because his collab stuff with Terry Pratchett is gold.)

I've read some of the newer Who novels but they seem to aimed at young adults and the quality has been quite variable. There was only one I outright disliked. Only read a few of the books with the classic doctors, there used to be some for download on the BBC's old Doctor Who site and I think they're still in free ebook libraries like Feedbooks.
The Torchwood novels are usually quite entertaining, I've read most of those excluding the Miracle Day tie-ins (mostly because I don't have them on my Kindle like the others).

I don't mind "aimed at young adults". That makes up about 50% of what I read in general. I'm just kind of scared it's going to read like fanfiction.
Is the stuff in the books hard canon? Or is it sort of loose?

I didn't mean it as an insult. A lot of kids/YA fiction is quality. From my experience the new-Who stories are fun (for want of a better word, I'm not sure the characters would always agree) little adventures and they're not trying to be anything more than that.
With respect to canon I think the new-Who books are non-canon but they could easily pass for things that are happening between episodes. I can't remember them ever referring to canon events but I'm open to being corrected. There doesn't seem to be a continuity I'm aware of past the different doctors and their assistants but again a more thorough reader may know better.

To all my fellow Whovians... I was actually talking with Lady S a couple of weeks ago about a video idea I had. I imagined "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" with The Doctor vs The Cyberplanner with the chess game 'battling' for the Doctor's soul. I talked about it and some of the scenes I would use for it. She didn't use that idea but she had an itching to make a Doctor Who Cyberman themed video of her own that mainly focused around Nightmare in Silver, and she put it to Disturbed's Haunted. It's really rare that I discuss something with someone and they actually make it darker... but it was cool that we were both thinking similiar trains of thought and her work of art is truly awesome once again. Includes flashbacks of Nine and Ten as well:
