See, Amy was never relatable to me I think because she has so much personality. When she's in a room she fills it, whereas Martha and Clara, and Rose as well, none of them really know who they are. Clara has like six jobs in the course of her run on the show, and she's trying to work out how she fits into the world. That's absolutely how I feel about life. Martha is more sure of what she needs to do, but it's always something for her family, or her job, or the Doctor. She doesn't work out her story until she walks the world. I love the idea that you don't have to have your stuff sorted, or your personality developed young. Stuff changes.

And yeah, Amy has a few jobs as well, but that's not being unsure of herself, that's being absolutely sure that where she is is too small for her.

I have a lot of feelings.

that's an interesting perspective, i can see that about amy, yea. i think it would be nice to actually be more like amy, to be more confident about knowing for sure. good feelings, bearzy

dude, that happens to me often (more so when over tired or very VERY caffeinated) and i call it verbal diarrhea instead of word vomit but the idea is the same lol

I always used to call it verbal diarrhea as well but I got sick of people IRL looking at me like I was gross when I said it.
