The video shows up in it's little box, but if I click play it just comes up with that message. It's easily enough opened in a new tab. ^^

I'm sending you a PM. In case Bill decides to hunt me down and sue me or something.

Hey Thoth, thanks, I like your avi too. So many interesting things going on. :3
I'm tired and busy. I just got up (it's one already, two hours after I intended to get up) and I just want to stay in bed all day. But instead I have to get up and book the studio and try to find somewhere to live next year and buhhh.
>.<

How have you been?

Did you find anywhere you want to live?
I've been good... Got a job at a daycare place... It hasn't started yet so I've been celebrating my freedom and working on my paintings.

eeeee, i love the tiny action figures.
i want them all! (pokemon! xp)
found out about them through neil gaiman's blog because he was posting about the weeping angel action figure being "right and proper".
i kid you not. gaiman is my hero. <3

nwahahaha, i would love to play with david tennant.
ohkat, ianto. <3

ljos. you just reminded me of my friend, YuenGuon on mene.
every time i think of shooting noises, i think of her going "pew pew pew!"
and. it's not me just thinking of her doing that. XD
she actually did that once (i forget why) so now... "pew pew pew!"

kat, that is possibly the only good use of a bluetooth headset. 8D
every time someone talks on them, i think they are either talking to me or talking to themselves. :<

I AM EXCITED ABOUT TORCHWOOD THIS YEAR.
apparently we're getting it on bbc america only a few hours after you kids in the uk.
it'll be the same time, but different time zones.
so, say, if it shows 8pm gmt for you guys, we'll get it 8pm est and 8pm pst. (i assume since that's how most networks work)
so i would get it at 7pm my time, 2 or 3am gmt. (time zones are confusing. ;_; )

PS.
i am sonic.
(ignore my silly face. XD)

Thoth, congratulations, that's awesome! I used to work at a daycare place and I loved it. I hope you get good kids though. :P

Oh and oh oh oh we went to look at this one place and there were three girls living there and one of them had a billion Doctor Who related posters all over her walls! And a small Tardis drawing on her door! I wish she'd been there, I would have fallen in love with her immediately.
The place was pretty much taken though so the guy showed us another flat he's also renting. It was a bit of a dump but that might just be because there's been three guys living there for two years, so it might just need a good clean-up. But still, I hope we can do better than that.

Tireth, I remember that! When Gaiman linked to the figurines. I love him so much. x3

I do that too! The "pew pew pew". Completely randomly as well, I'll go "pew pew" at my friends out of the blue. It's such a fun sound to make! I bought this small "space gun" a couple of months back, it shoots these yellow ring things and apparently it makes sounds as well, but to put the battery in, you need a tiiiiny screwdriver, and I haven't been bothered to try and find one. >.>
Still.
Pew pew pew!

Aww you have a screwdriver! And a Tardis! Consider me jealous.

Tireth: Bluetooth headsets are now making me think of Flight of the Conchords too (when Bret doesn't know what they're really for). The BBC has sprung series two of FOTC on me too. They say 'coming soon' about things for ages and now suddenly it's Tuesday next week when the first new episode is on.

Actually on topic!
My mum's best friend's husband is a total Doctor Who nut. At the pub quiz last night, the quizmaster came over to boast he has one of those pop-up TARDIS wardrobes and she told him they have three Daleks and a Lady Cassandra in their house. XD

Ahahaha awesome.

Yeah, I saw the new advert on BBC2 and at the end it said 'Tuesday 10.30pm' instead of the usual 'coming soon!', so I assumed it meant next Tuesday. I love how the amazing comedy on BBC4 (FOTC, Charlie Brooker, I've Never Seen Star Wars etc.) gets mixed in with the weirdist academic shows (The History of British Farming and whatnot).

Doctor Who TARDIS 'Zipperobe'
I think they're made of a similar material to tents (it's advertised as a play tent as well) so if you take the rail out it just folds up. I want one now. >.<

Edit: I've just noticed the fact you save £0.04 if you buy it from Amazon. What a saving!

@ljos - hurhur, we stalk gaiman~
omg. so. my mom was making those noises today. i was like. "really?"
AWESOME A SPACE GUN. <3
awwww. you know, you should be able to get a computer tool kit at any electronics store. there should be an itty bitty screwdriver in there.
you know. the tardis is a usb hub. because i'm that nerdy. xp

@kat - ohyay, season two is running! ::excited::
ahahahaha i totally want one of those wardrobes. :3
but three daleks and a lady cassandra. <3

Eee, TARDIS 'zipperobe'! Looks amazing.
I never watch TV so I don't really know anything about the channels or what's going on. I might start using the iPlayer for FotC, since I'm here and all that. I'm going back home soon though, so I'll only be able to watch a few episodes..

Tireth, hahaha! Your mum sounds awesome. And yes, I know, I just can't be bothered. :Ž
Ohmigosh, really?? Where did you get it? I want one!!

BBC4 has some pretty weird shows. There's a panel quiz show about punctuation and grammar called 'Never Mind the Full Stops'. I'm sure not so long ago they had farming season, and showed lots of shows about how farming has evolved in the British Isles. They've also had silent comedy season and modern composers season to give you a taste of some of the rather specialist programming.

I actually saw the TARDIS USB hubs while I was looking for the wardrobe. They didn't look so big in the pictures though. ^^;

That sounds interesting.. especially the silent comedy season. : D

I want to see the Star Trek movie now.. everyone is talking about how good it is, even people who are not Trekkies at all. I've never seen the shows, but I've wanted to watch them for quite some time.. just never got around to it.

The Star Trek film does look interesting. It's probably better if you haven't seen any of the television show because you won't have an idea of it in your head already. The Star Trek films I've seen were just like extended episodes of their respective show (original series, The Next Generation etc.) while Star Trek seems like a real departure from it. I watched an episode of Voyager yesterday and Seven of Nine and Captain Janeway were being so overdramatic it was hilarious.

I might be going to see Coraline next week though. Eee.

Eee, I wanna see Coraline too! Will probably try to go next weekend, and drag my friend with me. I wanna see X-Men too.. when will I have time to see all these movies? :gonk:

I've never seen a 3D movie.. I made my own glasses though, as I was experimenting with making my own 3D pictures. It was so much fun! :D

Thanks pat... I hope the kids are good too... I've babysat some pretty evil kids before.
Haha wow, thats some obsessed fans... Do you really like Dr. Who? I watched that show once but I thought it was too weird for me... Most likely, guys normally ruin apartments. When I moved in with that one guy who partied and drank constantly I was really annoyed and wished I had moved in with a girl instead.

Cool tell me later if you like the movie, Magenta...

ljos, she is a pretty nifty mom.
i got my usb hub on amazon. it was like $30 or something, all said and done, but it is a novelty item.
but. now i have a little tardis that vworps when i plug something in. XD
(it has a button, too, but that's not nearly as cool as having it go off when something gets plugged in.)

ohman, kat. a quiz show about grammar. <3
it is small, about 12-13cm tall. not too many people want a twelve-inch usb hub. (except me)
but it is ADORABLE. and VWORPY. and TARDISY.~

staaaar treeeek~~~
i think my mom and i are going to out to see it later today.
my stepdad was all "i read the reviews and think you would enjoy it more than me." so he offered to stay home with my little brother.
the new movie is apparently changing some things from the original plot, so it really would be good to not have a pre-formed view on the show.
ohgawd, voyager. mom and i were watching some tng episodes with Q in them the other night (i really wanted to watch venture brothers, but mom had the remote. ;_; )

...coraline is still out...? OH THAT'S RIGHT. you got it later than us.
HAVE FUN. it's amazing. if you can, try to go for 3D.

Coraline only came out on Friday here. I live in the North, we're lucky to get 2D. In fact, I'm surprised we don't just get 'D' and are told to be thankful for it.

I read half of a Torchwood book last night (The Twlight Streets) and if it wasn't nearly 3am by then I'd probably have read the whole thing. It was equally hilarious and disturbing. The power of Torchwood!

The Voyager episodes with Q are worse, I can't believe anyone would seriously be interested in Janeway. :/

ohno! D:
there must be some theatre near you with 3D. :[

wow. a whole half of a torchwood book.
mwehehehe. 3am for you was about when i was waking up. 10pmish.
i had escaped to my room to get away from the screaming children in the house and just passed out about 5pm. XD

Q is just creepy, in my opinion.
omghaha Q is interested in janeway?
weeeeeird~
i totally have seen less than ten voyager episodes ever. and even less ds9.
my mains are the original (about 20-30 eps) and tng, which i watched growing up and i have no clue how many have been stored in my unconscious memory. xp

I watched the original Trek with Dad while growing up, then TNG.
TNG was the only show Roddenberry did right, imho.

Tireth, I suddenly remembered, I have seen those hubs before! The whole vworping reminded me, someone was talking about it.
I've got the TARDIS sound as a ringtone on my phone though, so it goes off everytime I get a text message. That's more than enough for me.

Aww I feel all left out when it comes to Star Trek, I really wanna see the shows now. (Not saying you shouldn't talk about them, mind.)

We had two viewings scheduled today for flats. For the first one we actually just met with the landlord, apparently the girls living there now are super busy so they'd rather not be disturbed too much, so she's meeting everyone and judging who should come for a proper viewing. The flat sounded really nice though, so I'm crossing my fingers hoping we'll get that one!
The other one we went to, we got lost on the way so we were 10 mins late. I tried to call the landlady but she didn't pick up her phone so when we'd waited outside for ten more minutes, I texted her explaining things. Got a text a couple of hours later saying since we didn't show up, she let the flat to the next group. What? We were there, ringing the bell for like ten minutes! :C
*Sigh* This flat hunting is more complicated than I thought it'd be.

Good luck with the hunt!
As for Star Trek, I know I'd definitely recommend the original, along with TNG. Haven't watched any of the others, so can't say for them.

like. tardis sound for texting ringtone? amazing. <3

seriously, the original star trek is great for campiness and laughs and tng is fairly well-made and intriguing. (although i still laugh)

Seriously?
The original show at least stuck to what was realistically possible, and even introduced the concept for things that didn't exist at the time, but which we are using now.
IE:
1) Cellphones
2) MRI scanners
3) Touch-screen computers
