and it was fun. at least to me.
just because of the television show production limits of the 60s. :3
but ohman. right now i'm watching a voyager episode.
the one where seven of nine has multiple personalities.

i miss watching the various star trek series from when i was a child. :<

3D Cinema: There's a cinema on the outskirts of the city with 3D but it costs an extra £2.20 to actually go to 3D presentation (so the tickets would be £8.80 each). We're going straight after my friend's English exam resit to the cinema in town so we can get the 'early bird' prices. >.<

Tireth: The BBC website used to have a bunch of short sound clips they were advertising as ringtones. I had the sonic screwdriver one, but out of context it was just random. I'm not sure if they still actually work, my computer doesn't seem to like the series 4 layout at all: Audio.

Star Trek: I grew up seeing mostly TNG and DS9 on the television but I have seen plenty of Voyager and the original series. I wasn't too fussed about Enterprise, I really lost interest after Captain Archer seemed to travel back in time for no apparent reason (he didn't even quantum leap into the past). Virgin Media's afternoon scehdule is: DS9, Voyager, TNG and Enterprise and the Sci-Fi channel just shows the original series all of the time. If I get in from sixth form and turn the television on, there will be Star Trek somewhere.

I laugh at it all to be honest, from Shatner being totally over the top, Picard not really knowing whether he was English or French and the entire crew of Voyager being so annoying I would have left them in the Delta Quadrant. XD

Hallo Dragoness. You can like Doctor Who without having to know everything about it. I'm sure if someone quizzed me on the classic series I'd be useless.

Poor Connie. Emergency Tennant!

Tireth: These actually look like some of the ones that were on the BBC website. I have the "lots of planets have a North" one on my old phone. ^^;
I can't work the new BBC layout even when I can get on the site. The Planet of the Dead trailer wouldn't play for me either. I remember when used to play 'Whoduku' when there were only Nine doctors so they could have one for each number. The Torchwood missions were really fun as well.

Actually, my sister knows all about both the new and the old. I've got "The Five Doctors" on VHS, and it's actually quite a cool movie.
Sorry about that (I'd forgotten about the changing of the doctors...), Connie, I didn't realise that would cause anyone to cry...
Forgive me?<<youtube video of Catherine Tate and David Tennant. My sister found it and showed it to me.

Dragoness: I know a little bit about classic Doctor Who from when I used to watch it on a weekend with my parents. The storylines could be over ten episodes though and I'd always lose track of what was going on. >.<

No bother Connie, if you search for something like "David Tennant Blackpool" there's some more songs but that one's my favourite. ^^;

HA!
I showed them to my fellow sci-fi loving friend, and she loved them!
The Tennant/Tate skit is just classic, and I'm keeping it in my Favorites bookmarks until I die.

I love Doctor Who, Seen all the episodes loads since it came back. Always keep up on bbc iplayer if theres one of my favourites on there. Preferred Rose to any of the other companions though.

Is that Eleven at the end of the video?!
Or am I that just my withdrawal and anticipation?

Edit: I preferred Rose too, partly because she was the current companion when I first tuned in to the show. But it's a good toss-up between Rose and Donna, for me. Martha I never really cared for.

There was an interview with Matt Smith on the BBC News, and boy he needs some media training. He mumbled, didn't seem particularly focused on anything and he had his hand over his mouth nearly the whole time (that annoys me particularly because my hearing isn't 100% so with the mumbling and his restlessness I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying).

Hey Johnny. I love iPlayer, although sometimes I use it for boring things like snooker. ^^;

Oh gosh guys, those videos.. I nearly fainted, they were so awesome. Choreographdancing Tennant! I obviously have to check out Blackpool - I've been eyeing it for a while but always managed to forget about it.

Hello Dragoness and Johnny!

Tireth: Hugs are always welcomed! Yay! The only problem I have with the Tardis sound on my phone is that it gets louder as it goes on, and it's quite long, so, especially when I have the vibrating on, people tend to go "Ahhh! What's that noise? Is that a plane flying really low or something!?" and then I go "Uhm, no, it's my phone, sorry.. just a text message. >.>" It makes me feel a bit silly because it's just a text, but I can't use it as a ring tone because I've got the old Batman theme tune for that, and I will never bore of that. Dunununununununu dunununununununu..
And ohmygosh I love William Hartnell. <3 <3 <3

I can't decide who's my favourite companion because Rose tends to annoy me but her story was so big and dramatic, I can't not feel emotional when I see her in the show. And you don't get that with Martha or Donna. I dunno, I think they're just all too different, and I like them all for completely different things.
I saw some of Sylvester McCoy's Doctor (seven) and I really liked Ace, I'd love to see more of her.

Connielass, eleven at the end of what video?

I'm getting sort of excited to see Matt Smith in the role. Though not as excited as seeing new Tennant episodes!

Edit: And uhm, sorry about my absence. School and life and all that.

I'm pretty sure that was David Morrisey, from The Next Doctor? Too big and not as young as Matt Smith.

Saw this story on BBC Text earlier but the link is to the Guardian website: Doctor Who's David Tennant to appear in Sarah Jane Adventures.

Thought some people might be interested. I don't watch The Sarah Jane Adventures myself normally, but I might end up watching these ones. ^^;

That's right, there was some kind of a Who/Torchwood/Sarah Jane tie-in for the last episode, wasn't there?

The headline for the story on BBC text was 'David Tennant to appear in Doctor Who spin-off' so I really thought it was going to be Torchwood for a minute. I agree with Russel T Davies though, the Doctor is a hero for children so it would just be too wrong.

I don't know if the new episodes are related at all to the series finale of Doctor Who. I didn't really see the point of all those extra people to be honest. ^^;

Series finale?!
I thought it was just the season finale?
And I thought it was really epic, that whole collaboration. After all, Torchwood certainly has its ties to Who, and I believe Sarah jane was a Who companion for a stint.

Sorry, I meant the finale of series four. My memory is so rubbish all I can think of is how chubby Ianto looked. My main issue was that I think the same effect could have been achieved without so many people, maybe just Jack (or Martha) and Rose even.

Sarah Jane Smith was Three and Four's companion. I only remember her with Tom Baker though. XD

The English language . . . Henry Higgins was so right: We Americans haven't used it in years.
