VoV was good. It wasn't ToA/FaS good but I def like Rory and I've always said the Doctor would be better with a male companion.

Sixkiller: I liked Rory too and I'm glad this isn't going to be another "I'm just the tin dog!" sort of story. hehe. Although Mickey did improve and become a hero as the story went on.

I really hope this turns into more of a Ben and Polly or Jamie and Zoe type of companions.

My bffl wrote a short novel about a plot to assassinate Hitler, and she wanted to get it published... and it was before the Valkyrie movie came out. She was pretty upset when the movie came out because it was so similar! lol

It's a fantasy/sci-fi/romance novel. My friend added the romance, I added the sci-fi (and violence), and we both agreed that it should have fantasy.

Ouch! That's got to suck..

I absolutely loved it though, in all my life i have NO memories of standing in snow nearly 3 foot deep and more xD

I just finished watching Death Note!!

One thing I've noticed with my tastes in anime and manga (and TV shows); I love the kind that screw with your head. Torchwood is a perfect example. And the episode of Doctor Who--"Blink". That one freaked me out like crazy but it's one of my favorites!

I just watched Vampires of Venice yesterday (my weekends are way too busy *cough* these days so I'm always a couple of days behind) and I must admit, I liked it a lot more than I had expected from the trailer. Smith's performance was by far the best I've seen from him so far, and I really like having Rory there as well, it's a much needed break from the Doctor+FemaleCompanion combination. Things were getting a bit too tense.

Sorry again I'm so rarely here, I'm just too busy enjoying life at the moment. Which would be easier if summer got here already - why is it so bloody cold? We had really lovely summer weather a couple of weeks back, but now it's just cold and overcast/rainy all the time. (Yeah, I know, I'm complaining about the weather. Bundle of fun, I am.)

heh its ok its been cold and dreary here to. I did get to watch the time of angels finally it was definately creepy when that angel was right up at the screen looking at Amy. I do like the death note anime not the manga my boyfriend prefers it more than me he just bought L's new book but i forgot what it was called. to bad I won't get to see the vampires of venice i'm really curious now since i love vampires and i want to see how smith does in the episode.

I'm so glad Amy is back with Rory. It was beginning to be a bit of a soap-opera there.

Lost, agreed. Every time I see Amy and Eleven, I like them a little more, and get a little more excited each time to see more of them.

I liked the Death Note manga, and the films were pretty good too. I started watching the anime, but I just don't like anime in general, so I didn't watch past the first or second episode. Death Note is also the only manga I have ever liked quite that much.. other manga I find enjoyable at best.

For Death I liked the Manga better than the Anime, the Anime better than the movies. And I hated the last episode of the anime but that's a topic for another thread.

SO Amy's Choice next week what's going on in there? O.o The trailer was hella confusing.

Yeah it looks like some alternate reality, but they talked about a Dream World.. wasn't there something about a Lord of Dreams or something? It reminded me more of that episode where Rose meets her dad, maybe just because of the filming and the colours. And uh, Rory's "style". xD
