Whenever I get amitious and try to start up about ten different conversations, or join them, I
a. get left behind in the discussions
b. people feel shunned when I haven't shown up in half an hour and arrive panting, frazzled, dripping with sweat and trying to pull pirahnas off my fingers.
c. I have a heart attack.
Side note: I haven't done this in about a year. XD I used to be a lot more active.

I've changed your thread title as I felt it was too long and unnecessary. Please feel free to abuse the topic feature in the Exchange or Quests or a shop of some sort, but in the Community Discussions forum it's very important to have a topic that actually reflects what the topic is about. (And, of course, you can change the subject to something a little more descriptive if you like, just not that descriptive.)
--
On-topic: That happens to me too. ;_; I always feel guilty when I get caught up elsewhere doing staff-related work and come back to a thread a few hours later, or even days later, and they'd asked me a time-sensitive question.
It's why, generally, I stick to my Subscribed list because at least the people there are used to my sporadic chat habits. >_<;

a while ago I was able to keep up with like 16 threads in te quest forum. It helped that only one or two people other than me were posting in them though, so I didn't get super far behind. Now... I haven't even been posting in my own threads. ^^;;

I use to love doing that.. xD but theres hardly anyone I know on Mene online at the same time anymore as me. So we can't 'crazy' post together. D:
Well, the topics moved fast but they weren't that hard to keep up with, since posts were kept short. xD; The aim was to post in as many threads at the same time and post every minute without it being spam. >w> Ah, those days were fun.
The only times I try to keep up with multiple threads now is during events since all the threads seem to be very active. ^^

What I basically do is save all my threads into a bookmarks folder, then when I go to check up, I open all the threads in different tabs and go through each tab for changes. If there are none, I go away, then come back later and refresh all of them. It works for me. :)

Haah, I can't really do that. I have trouble when there's more than 2 other people talking in a thread and I hope I'll never offend anyone if I concentrate on mostly one conversation instead of replying to any and all >.< I guess it's because I'm entirely used to 1on1 chats on AIM and such, and I'll hope to learn forum multi-tasking sometime :sweat:

I love juggling multiple threads at once. o3o
When I get left behind in a discussion, I simply try to rejoin it. If that doesn't work, I leave the thread. I have enough threads juggling so that I don't feel lonely when one of them rejects me.
o3o And I've shunned people myself. xD;; If I can't think of anything to add to the current discussion, I just stay quiet.
... I've yet to have a heart attack. xD:;

I do that all the time and end up replying to the wrong people... D:
Or just disappearing all together.

i'm useless. i never hold a thread. i try and try and try but i can't. i can't even really participate. i don't know if it's the way i try to participate, but i sort of add replys (random and at specific people) and it's like.. nada. i'm cool with that, but it means i don't even bother trying to maintain multiple threads. a bonus i guess!

I do it all the time during events. X3 But that usually leads to Lenna being extremely left behind in one or two threads, two other threads end up dying randomly and I get overly interested in one and end up abandoning the rest of them. Usually my own thread dies in the process too.

I usually never have that problem, because I try and stay at one thread at a time whenever I do post in the forums. (I'm mainly a lurker) I'll often even forget about my posts right after I've done them. (^_^)"

If they're fast paced threads, I try not to juggle more than three threads at a time, or I'm hopeless. But if they're moderately moving threads, I can juggle 5-6 of them.
This is why I don't participate in events much. I just can't keep up with my friends where they want me to chat with them >>

if i want to i can keep up with quite a few chats at the same time, for example during some events when i'm on all the time, i hold conversations in 10 threads at the same time. :O
it's hectic but fun. XD

I can hardly juggle two threads :sweat: I'm pretty bad at keeping up with more than two conversations at a time.

I usually talk on a lot of different threads because rarely do people actually reply.
I hate just staying at a thread and having no one say anything for an hour.
So i'll hop around and keep track of the ones that I've talked in for any signs of life.
