Yesterday I noticed this odd mark type thing on my hip. Didn't even think anything of it, thinking I'd just ran into something.
Things like that normally go away, and it still hasn't. :(
So, I showed it to my mom, and she was all "You're not gonna like what I have to say, blahblahblah, but it looks like ringworm."
And so, then I get on, go look at some ringworm pictures and found this one and it's almost freaking identical! D:
But, mine is super small, smaller than the tip of my finger and isn't nearly that red..
So I'm seriously freaking out here.
Because...it doesn't sound good at all.
/end ramble.
Heyyaa Dae. C:
Ah, see, I once had GIANT sores, like 1-3 inches around that somewhat resembled that, only the centers seemed to kinda rot to a point then they were just infected.
At first they thought it was an extreme case of ringworm, but it wasn't. And they started wondering if it was poison ivy, but it wasn't. So my doctor took a piece of one and tested it for staph infection, but it came back negative too.
We never found out what it was, but they finally when away when I started going swimming with a friend of mine several times a week. I had had the sores for about three months long, and after two weeks of swimming a lot, the chlorine in the pool dried up the sores, they stopped oozing, and then they went away!
But ringworm isn't the end of the world, just make sure you don't make it spread.
Cricket didn't get his infusion. Was Hazelle around when he explained what happened? If not I'll just quote it from my DA journal to save you from having to dig through posts.
I didn't get my infusion. I went in to the clinic, they stuck me once, nothing. Twice, nothing, three times, there was a little bit of hope but it turned up nothing, fourth time was extremely painful and still turned up nothing. She just couldn't get blood flowing through my veins into the catheter. I couldn't stand the pain anymore, and the nurse was very uncomfortable with trying again because she very much dislikes having to stick people anymore than two times, but infusions are necessary so she kept trying for me.
So we had to reschedule my infusion, it'll be in two weeks, and hopefully things will go as they're supposed then. Each arm has two very painful, discolored bumps on them, and the one that's on the top of my right wrist is INCREDIBLY painful. >.<;;
But the good news is, when I got home I had a package of anime from a friend, my best friend was already at my house (not the friend that sent me the anime, lol) and I had a late Christmas card from my friend in Croatia. The card really cheered me up, and it was nice to have my best friend over. <3
Awww. I remember when I went to the ER with expected internal bleeding. I think it was more of them not knowing what they were doing and a little of me being very dehydrated. I go to military doctors, and the nurses in the small hospitals dont know how to get veins well. I have small veins as is and when they drew blood it took them six trys till they finally got the best person they had to get one on the top of my hand. It was crazy. I hate military ER's now. But I'm glad there was something to make your day better.
Mine got better last night. Went out to dinner with a few friends and one of them bought me drinks and dinner. It was nice. I usually don't let other people pay for me but he was like "Well I didn't get you anything for Christmas and your birthday is in two weeks, let me pay." I flailed and was like .."Okay"sigh. lol I'm weird like that I make good money when I work so I take pride in being able to pay for things.
I was very hydrated, and she can't get me on the back of the hand anymore because it causes me too much pain. And I only have straight veins on the back of one of my hands, so it's not like she could try the other hand for a vein.
I have small veins, and it's a large needle (well, I think it's big, it's a 24 gauge needle). And I'm just a hard stick to begin with. I'm very sensitive to needles, so it hurts all that more. Though honestly, when she tries to get a vein on the back of my arm it hurts a lot less than when she tries for the bigger veins (which are big to me, but small to people trying to get blood from me) on the underside of my arm.
Fey: The song was Innerpartysystem - "Don't Stop" Island/Stolen Transmission.
Kent: Oh, yes, really it's just cleverly disguised with an innocent looking picture in the middle so it looks fine, but it's just a bunch of naked girls playing with each other's boobs. :sarcasm:
Nah, that's not why I don't trust it or am afraid of it.
It's just that I believe watching videos on sites like youtube and veoh was the reason my laptop messed up/crashed three times.
I don't want it to happen again. I hate losing all the stuff I saved.
Well, avoid pop-ups, and if you're not already using it, you might want to download Firefox as a web browser. Firefox is free and does a much better job at keeping viruses away.
I'll agree with that and I'm kinda an IT professional. Firefox est tres bein... although... you CAN configure IE 7.0 to ALMOST the same standards... it takes the knowhow to do it.
