THE PLOT SERVES BOTH AS A PLOT AND A HISTORY LESSON PEOPLE! IT'S FUCKING LONG I'M SORRY! WHEN THE IDEAS FLOW THEY FLOW!

I moved all the other posts to my blog as I edit them. I think I'm adding a new aspect to the plot that changes all the information needed. So I removed the info and am editing it right now.

I continue to apologize for the random changes and edits and change and edits. I poorly planned this RP. Which is kind fail on my part. I'm a better GM then this I promise!

The Beekeeper

Vampires since the dawn of time have always been a legendary creature and as legends goes there is always a Master vampire. The Master is the one who creates the others, the one who is the most powerful of the clan and is the creator of his/her clan. But over time a master vampire’s connection to his ‘children’ is essentially lost.
"That which binds them, the common blood they once shared, no longer runs through the Child's veins."
It is at this point that the child is placed in a situation of internal decision, if the Child's body and mind is powerful enough they can ascend into ‘Lordship’; becoming their own master. However more often then not they are not powerful enough, not ready to be masters and their bodies begin to die.

To stop this process the master of that child must share his/her blood and rekindle the link between them. If the master vampire is not to be found, any master vampire can claim the child by sharing his/her blood. Severing that child's connection to his/her old master and clan members.

This method has been the way of vampires for centuries, the way they warred. Taking each others children and making them their own; it is well known that to have your child taken, in such a manner, is to be seen as weak.

But it is no longer the era of simple castles, brutish wars and feuds. It is now an era of technology, cyber wars and things vampire’s centuries old have not yet seen.

The elite governing house, Vardon Sect (a political party presiding over the abundantly popular social structures known as ‘cults'), in the year of Epsilon 44. Received a vampire fledgling, arrested during a police raid of an illegal rave. Under the recently instated laws authorities released the vampire to the personnel of the Vardon Sect holding facilities. Where the vampire was placed through rigorous tests.

During this time it was reported that this vampire was the only live subject, scientists had ever researched. Vampires still did not have the rights of humans and their race was not registered under the Act of Supernatural Rascal Awareness. Legally vampires were aliens and unprotected by human laws.
Through their studies of the vampire fledgling scientists found that the creatures body and physical habits were peculiar and unusual. During the day the vampire slept, his body instinctively switching to a comatose state; resembling a newly dead corpse, including no vital signs. To survive the vampire feed off of blood, sustaining itself on what the Vardon Sect described as a living creatures life essence. An explanation that did not sit well with the scientific community, but was accepted and noted with great reluctance.

Other physical traits included the vampires extraordinary self regenerating abilities. Described as healing abilities. The vampires bodies produced high amounts of a naturally occurring hormone in the human body. Regenerating and healing life threatening wounds, protecting from disease and boosting the vampires immune system ten fold.

This ability to not die, to be almost immortal was one of great interest for the scientific community. Who had always strove to better and lengthen the human life span. To harness and understand how this hormone the vampire naturally created, worked, would open up a whole new market, for both science and the government. An entire revenue of cash was simply waiting to be had.

But it was noted by one man, a scientist heading the project to understand the vampire physiological makeup. “If there are more of them like him out there. What is stopping them from kill us all? Taking over, running our government, corrupting our people and children? What is stopping them from disrupting our system? These creature, vampires, are far more a threat then the commodity we are making them out to be. They are living people, sentient and if our research is correct they understand and have knowledge far greater then our own. They need us to survive, yes, but they could enslave us rather then let us roam freely. If we try to abuse this race and attempt to harm their people. I would not doubt for a second that they would rebel and we would be powerless to stop them.”
This revelation stirred whispers, and drew the attention of outside forces. Specifically the Black Ops, and attention from other governing houses. Who deliberated, hours after hearing the scientists suggestion, on what to do about this vampiric race. An official representative of the Vardon Sect took it upon himself to issue a state of emergency. Without knowledge of who lead this race, the Vardon Sect labeled vampires as a cult/religious group; obtaining jurisdiction over the proceedings of the races fate.

During the week to follow the governments hasty decision, the vampire fledgling began to undergo yet another strange and distinctive change. He was dying. Scientists noted that his body was literally eating itself alive from the inside out. Producing a unknown virus that deteriorated the vampires innards and slowly began to kill him.

It would be later learned that this reaction was a racial warring mechanism. Used in the past to gain power, change ones allegiances, over take other vampire clans and so on. A rather fatal flaw in their biological structure that would cause the vampire race many of their lives.
Scientist wasted no time in gathering data on the dying vampire. Harvesting what they could from his body before he was nothing more then a husk of useless flesh. What the humans attained through their research was a new virus, that nearly a month after the vampires death in captivity. Produced a solution to the governments state of emergency, a way to eliminate the vampire threat.

This virus was what originally killed the vampire. Naturally occurring in the vampires body it would afflict the vampire on a yearly cycle. Forcing the vampire to seek out his or her master. Something in the blood if the higher ranking vampires, subdued the virus . . . and the humans now mass produced the disease. It was harmless to humans, causing no ill effects when ingested by any means. Nor did it harm plant life, animals or livestock. It only effecting vampires and this newly synthesized virus was far more potent then the original. The release into the a vampires system would be nearly instantaneous upon ingestion, and the effects of the virus were doubled. The speed this new biological weapon worked was breath taking and a relief.

Administering the virus was just as simple, the government implemented a three month long project. Stating with an advertising companion, branding vampires as the new threat in the world. Describing vampirism as a disease, spreading the word of their discoveries. Then bolstering peoples hopes for survival by releasing a free inoculation to anyone who choose it. As well as providing free stocks of the anti-virus to farmers and wildlife specialists. The government even went as far as the place the anti-virus within their water supplies and food. Ensuring that the human race would all carry this deadly virus, rendering the vampires food supplies obsolete. Starving the vampires to death, if the virus did not kill them first.

However, a key factor was missed and the governments blind decision created a loophole for the vampire race. The new virus did not effect the vampiric rank of vampires known as Masters, or Elders; said to be the eldest of all vampires, millennia old, if not the originals. The virus when in contact with the blood of Elders or Master, like with its original unaltered form, was rendered nugatory, useless. The blood of Elders and Masters even rendered the virus in other vampires inefficient. Completely nullifying its effects, if caught early enough.

The vampire race suffered untold numbers of deaths amongst their people. Over the span of a few months, the humans sufficiently manage to decrease their numbers by nearly half. Several clans fell to the deadly virus, even some of the newer master vampires lost their lives. The blow to their numbers, to their moral, was enough to drive the vampire masters of old to a decision.

Though vampires stalked the night, seeking to never be known by the human race. Forever thought as legend or myth, their concerns for human politics, government, and existence, stretching no further then their use as a food supply. The vampires were now forcefully pushed into a war, where they saw no escape, no simple non-confrontational way out.

Their choices limited, and all other alternatives to saving their people null and void. The oldest of the Master vampires sought out the aid of their Elders. Who for centuries slept within the underground crypts of the many metropolises littering the lands above. Kept save, protected, guarded and secured by the human allies known as Beekeepers. A line of human ancestors devote to keeping the vampire races prized possessions out of harms way. Their services coming only with the price of extended life. A gift the Elder gladly shared for their peoples and their own safety and protection.
Drawn from their centuries long sleep the Elder woke to a transformed world. Technology littered the landscape, like foliage littered the forest floor.
