Anko glared at him more, "No, I just know to be dependent."


Crys looked at him, grinning slightly. "Fly? I he'd never ask," he said, turning back into the beautiful white dove and flying in front of Rion. He spoke it bird, "She's somewhere up ahead."

"Hehe, good. I like girl like that. Independence is a good thing." Alastor said.

"Somewhere?" Rion said as he was flying. "Where exactly?"

"Don't get funny on me," Anko demanded. "I'm not like most women..."


"Down there," Crys said, swooping down and landing in front of Mixi. "I passed on your message, and brought back a little present."

Rion landed down right next to Mixi, "Ello' love, miss me?" Rion said as he teased Mixi a little. "Your friend here, was saying that you're leaving us. I don't want you to leave, please stay with me, Mixi." Rion said.

"Funny? Sorry don't know funny." Alastor said, "Who cares if you're not like most women, just look at me. I'm an alien creature born from another world, yet I look like a humanoid creature to many people's eyes." Alastor proclaimed.

Mixi glared at Rion, then looked at Crys. Did you tell me any more than I wanted you to? Keeping herself from slapping Rion, she turned away and began walking. Tell him he shouldn't act like that unless he's in love with me.

Crys nodded, "Don't say that unless you are in love with her," he repeated.


Anko rolled her eyes, "and an ugly one," she said. "I want nothing to do with you... your ways seems wrong... I'm leaving..." she said, turning away from him and resuming walking.

"But I......I do love you." Rion said. "I love you Mixi." Rion tried to keep himself from blushing. But his face slowly became redder by the second.

"Well then, I guess you won't be able to get your revenge then if you leave. And besides, how can you leave this place? It's an island of decay and corpses." Alastor said.

Mixi stopped, turned around and looked at Rion, "But you have only known me a couple hours... and I've been so cold towards me... how could you love someone like me?"

Anko didn't look back, "I'll find someway... even if I have to call upon Crys..."


Crys smiled, My work here is done he thought, turning into his crystal form and flying to Mixi's neck.

"True, I have only known you for that long. But I want to know you more, the moment you gave me that necklace, I felt so happy that wanted to express my gratitude to you. I was thinking what I could do repay you, but instead of wanting to repay you. I started to feel weird in here." Rion said as he pointed at his chest where his heart was at. "Here feel it, can you feel it beating faster?" Rion said as he grabbed Mixi's hand and placed it on his chest.

"Artifacts like that, don't respond to just anyone. They respond to the Envoys and us. So, that means you're either one of them or one of us......" Alastor said.

Mixi's face turned red, she pulled her hand away from Rion, and turned away from him. "How do I know you aren't just pulling some kind of prank to stop me from leaving..." she said.


Anko glared turned to him again, and resisting the urge to yell, said. "Crys responded to me before, and I bet he would again!"

"We just want the lady right? Let's sneak in and kidnap her, then let Cain get into her mind? You guys are used to covert operations, right?" Even in her whisper there was a taunting tone. But Jeera had the urge to go in and panic them. It had been so long...

"You're an odd creature, to the fact that an Artifact obeying you means that you are someone special." Alastor said.

"Do I look like the kind of person who'd pull a prank on someone? I'm always honest about my feelings and I don't like to lie. But if my heart won't convince you then maybe this will...." Rion turned Mixi around and kissed her straight on the lips passionately. The moment Rion stopped, he started to blushed deeply, "That was......my first kiss......I've never felt this way towards a girl before. So, it's up to you whether you think I'm lying or not. I really don't want you to leave, I never had these feelings before but with you, I want to feel them more." Rion said.

Akino sighed but nodded and watched her only friend leave. It’s not that bad. She turned around to find the other Envoys ahead with a sweat drop she ran to catch up.

"Special? No, you are mistaken," Anko told him.


Tears started to form in Mixi's eyes, it was her first kiss to, and even though it was great, it was also painful. She pushed herself away from Rion, "I... I wish I could return your feelings... but I'd only just hurt you..." she said.

"Why the hell do they walk so fast!" she muttered to her self, finally catching up to the others. Leaning on her legs she smiled up at them. "You guys sure are fast."

"I-I understand....." Rion said. "You probably don't think of me that way, like I do for you. I'm sorry for forcing my feeling upon you. It was rude of me, I'm also sorry for stealing your first kiss. You can hit me if you want, I won't mind it." Rion said. Rion was holding back his tears greatly, it hurt him but he tried his best not to inflict further pain to Mixi.

"Then, why does that Artifact obey you? Think about that clearly before you say anything." Alastor said.

An involuntary shiver of disgust went down Shion's spine as he contemplated whether or not he was rquired to actually talk to Mira. However it wasnt because of this that he seemed to suddenly become grossed out, it was instead something in the air that clearly stated somewhere nearby people were expressing their love to someone else. "How repulsive." He muttured darkly, his eyebrows knitted together as he stared straight ahead and doubled his speed.

"Fine, you want to help?" Shion asked when he seemed to feel like he had gotten far enough away from whatever had caused the disgusted feeling. "Take me to the best tourist shop." He didnt show any sign of noticing the other girl running to catch up with them but his face did seem to become even more darker looking. He spent his whole life avoiding any kind of company besides an occasional barmate, woman, or client and now all of a sudden they were all trying to walk with him? What the hell? Was there a sign on his back that said he needed company all of a sudden? This whole envoy thing might turn out to be even more of a pain in the ass then he thought.

Cain, who had seemed quite content staring into the city, turned his head slowly to look at Lily after she spoke. "Do?" He repeated, curiousity tinting his voice. "We raid the city until someone talks." It seemed so obvious to Cain that as he thought of each part of the plan, images bega to surrond Jeera and Lily literally showing them what was going to happen. They would take it one house at a time. First, Lily would bust in and quickly capture each person in the house, finding someway in the process from preventing them from screaming out. Cain would then use his own power's to get answer's out of each of them, if they didnt know anything or refused to talk, Jeera could finish the job and they would move onto the next house until every person in the village was dead. If they somehow found an elf who knew something, they would squeeze all the info they could out of them, kill them and then cause mayhem throughout the village until morning came.

Jeera almost cried out in happiness. Havoc was going to be caused tonight. Her eyes darted about as she struggled to stay still.
"Well, let's go then! We only have a limited amount of time, why delay the fun?" Her eyes gleamed with her eagerness and the promise of pain.

"You're lucky you can't still hear them... I need to get some earplugs if I'm going to travel with those doves." Tira's first instinct was to go back there and reprimand them for getting impassioned during this 'great task'. Having some bond like that between the two unstables would prove disadvantageous. But as she heard his request, Tira gave him a strange look.

"What would a man of your profession need with a tourist shop? Those things are made to rip off unsuspecting idiots that have no knowledge of our city. And you probably have no use for the trinkets that many buy for family members... or do you?" She had to pry a bit. A challenge was always welcomed, and getting information from the naturally silent was helpful for herself and a distraction.

"How did you know that was my first kiss?" Mixi asked. She was sure that she hadn't said anything. She turned away again and started to walk away from Rion. "I'm... I'm leaving... I still need to fulfill my use as an envoy."

"I... I don't know," Anko said. "What I will tell you is that you are boring me and I wish you would shut up or bring me back to the city!" she told me sternly.

"I see, well whatever then I'll bring you back to the other continent. You seem to be useless to us, the next we meet I'll have to kill you because it is in our nature to kill those that are different than us." Alastor said. Alastor created a door which lead to a different place. "Go if you want." Alastor said with a dark smile.

"I kinda could tell that it was." Rion said. "Take Harmonia, she'll help you in any way she can. She'll either amplify your powers to a high rate or allow you to fuse two or three elements at once for a powerful result. Just be careful how you use her, I'll be worried about you. And I'm sorry I can't come with you, my job as a Goddess Knight comes first. I want to at least tell you three things before you leave. I'm not human, one of my memories have recalls that I'm a different species. Something called 'Engrave", that is what I apparently am. An Engrave is humanoid with Crests and Markings, I don't know much left about them yet, my memory is foggy but my people were able to reading the hearts and feelings of other species. Also, if you meet your friend Anko again, tell her that me and Shion didn't kill her lover. The Dark Resonance did it, it was Alastor and Ashe who tortured and killed the girl not us, I already obliterated Ashe back then so Ashe no longer exists. However I feel that Ashe's hatred and pain have seeped 1% into Anko, it felt that way when I first saw her but I could be wrong. She's not one of the Darkness but somehow she might be turned, I hope that she'll still be good. I don't have the heart to kill an innocent person only the Darkness." Rion said. Rion gave Mixi Harmonia, "I hope you find what you seek in your path as a Goddess Knight, an Envoy." Rion said as his cloak changed back to wings. A tear fell from Rion's eye before Rion flew in the air.

Anko was about to leave, when she turned around, looking at Alastor. "Nice meeting you..." she said.


Mixi took Harmonia, trying to keep herself from crying. Suddenly she realized what she needed, "Rion!" she called. "Come back here!" she said, hoping he could hear her.

"Whatever......just go, you're a disappointment. Now leave." Alastor said.

Rion heard Mixi's voice, Rion flew back down after she called. Rion landed back down next to her. "What's wrong?" Rion asked. Rion wondered what was happening. Rion was worried that something was wrong.

Anko smiled, "What's up with the tone?" she asked coyly. "Do you really want me on your team, posy, alliance- whatever? Would I really be that useful to you?"


Mixi shrugged, "I... I'm going with you," she said in a firm tone. "You are incompetent of fighting on your own. For your protection, I must go with you so you don't get yourself killed." This wasn't what she wanted to say, but those words are what escaped.

Rion felt face flat onto the ground. Rion slowly got up, "I-I see...ehehe, you're worried that I'm weak, huh? I understand, but you got to understand I'm not weak. I may look it but I only hide my real strength for when it's protecting those around me and those I care about." Rion said. Rion's void energy went to his right hand, the energy was intense. "You know if I wanted to I'd unleash 25% percent of my power to end every battle I enter in, but I'd rather stick to using only 7% percent at least I can enjoy using what I've learned from Master Nagisa Yatagiri. She taught me well in swordsmanship." Rion said with a smile. "I won't die easily as long as my stamina doesn't give in." Rion looked at Mixi and rubbed her cheek.

"Nah, forget it.....a creature like you is just feed for our kind. Now leave, I'm already annoyed with you, Ashe!" Alastor said in anger. "Damn it.....you know I really dislike you because you're just like a girl I knew. She up and died because she was weaker than the Envoy of the Void, that damn Envoy brat killed her before I could tell her how I felt." Alastor said, "I kinda see her in you, which pisses me off."

"Fine!" Mixi said, crossing her arms and turning away from him. "I was going to come with you so I wouldn't feel so much heartache, but I guess I really will leave now."


Anko was confused, "The Envoy of the Void killed her... just like they killed my fiance..." she said. "Well, if I'm that much of a burden," she said. "I will help the Envoy's eliminate you... unless... you except me into your group..."

"Wa-wait....I'm sorry, I'm really happy that you'd stay. I was just a little saddened when you underestimated me that's all." Rion said. Rion hugged Mixi, "Please don't go.....I'll be sadder if you do." Rion said as one of his tears fell on Mixi's skin. The tears of an Engrave are cold like ice, "Please.....don't leave......" Rion said with a sad tone.

"Eliminate me? Hah! That's a bunch of crap! This time we'll win and this world will be a barren wasteland. But if you want to join us to experience the hell, we'll bring go ahead and join us!" Alastor said.
