Rion ignored the girl and walked to the city. The city was lively, Rion saw many people moving about. "Where is the Envoy, Lady Hanastasha?" Rion asked.

"It's hard to tell my senses are being blocked somehow." Hanastasha said.

"That's not good." Rion said as he was looking around the area.

Mixi continued to follow Rion. She knew it was impossible for him to believe her, but she would prove herself after awhile. She remembered this city. This was where she met this strange woman who had a weird vibe about her. Mixi wondered whether the woman was still in this city. She held her crystal moonstone in her hand. "Okay, tell me what I need to know... is she here?" The stone shoke a little and made many beams off light. Many people turned their heads to look at her. She quickly hid the stone under her shirt. "Great, now he's going to know that I'm still following him."

"You know, you should destroy that. The Dark Resonance would probably want that item." Rion said to the girl as he turned to see her follow him. "Look I'll admit that you're an Envoy if you stop acting like a child. Battles are not like games, it's a life and death situation. One wrong move, one stupid act of insecurity and people die." Rion said. "Anyways you didn't go through the training I had to endure.....so don't act tough if you don't know how to analyze a person's true strength." Rion said as he started to walk again.

Mixi smiled, she decided to stop following at walk at a near level with him. "I know what you have to endure. I went through training myself." She put an arm on his shoulder to stop him. She lifted up her shirt half way to show him the hole right through her. "It's a miracle I'm still alive after that. I repeat, I have endured a lot. Possibly more than most of the Envoys... my old friend... I believe she is part of the Resonance... she actually lives in this city..."

"Hmm....that wound only proves how foolish you were. Be sure to remember those wounds. And trust me, you don't know the training I endured.....it was more horrible than you can imagine. My master is a tough old man, and everything he made me do is what turned me into who I am." Rion said. "I always fight for a reason.....do you have a good enough reason for fighting?" Rion said.

"Yes," Mixi said, looking at the ground. "I fight because somewhere out there is the man who killed my family. I don't attack anybody that won't cause any harm. Then I was raised by a man that taught me how to fight, but he also fed me a bunch of lies. I know everything from my own experiences... and the Crystal Mountain... it's dangers are far worse than you could imagine. Worse than 100 wars in a row... I'm afraid..."

"It's not the quantity of the war, it's who you fight in the war." Rion said with a smile. "Anyways enough of this debate I'm going to find the other Envoy." Rion started to walk again.

"You need help?" Mixi said. "My stone can tell where anybody you need is... I have all crystal artifcats... if you want to borrow any I will allow you..." she told him

"If you want to help go ahead, but I'd refrain from having that stone. Destroy it before the Dark Resonance takes it from you. It will only make my journey more problematic." Rion said. "As for those crystals, no thanks I forge my own weapons. Master taught me to make my own weapons and not to rely on store bought weapons or weapons that other people made." Rion said.

"I won't!" Mixi said, putting the crystal under her shirt. "This could help later on. So, you forge your own weapons... you must be a talented one. No wonder you are an am- such a great envoy!" she corrected herself. She was about to call him an amatuer, but she stopped herself in time.

"An amateur huh?" Rion said as he looked at the Mixi. "Whatever....." Rion said harshly.

"Sorry," Mixi said. "I didn't mean it, that's why I stopped myself... I bet you are a fine envoy."

Rion could hear some people having a brawl in a tavern, a glass cup flew out the window and went at Rion's direction. Rion grabbed his sword and sliced the cup in half without breaking it. "I'm not even sure if I am a strong Envoy. But Lady Hanastasha said that my power is immense yet unstable due to my lack of strength. My strength has to be stronger than it used to be, otherwise my power would tear me apart." Rion said in a calm voice.

"Well, as long as you take care of yourself," Mixi said. "Sometimes I wish I didn't have my powers... I get so tired.. .and there aren't enough people to help... I want to help everybody I can... that's why I didn't try to get rid of them..."

"Even you wanted to, you still couldn't get rid of your powers......it's not something you can toss away." Rion said in a sad tone.

"I wish they could be..." Mixi said. "I want to be a normal human..."

((Uhm, aren't you an elf?))

"Normal huh?" Rion said. "Me too.....at least I won't be called a monster if I didn't have this right eye of mine." Rion said.

((Yeah, pretend I said that, k?)

"Eye?" Mixi asked. "Oh, yeah... I think I know what you mean... being normal would be great..."

((Okay, but try not to make too many mistakes.))

"This eye." Rion said as he showed her his other eye. It had a piercing glow about it. It looked almost dragonic yet different. It had a sinister feel to it when it stared at other people.

Mixi cringed a little, "I don't mean to be rude, but does it have to look that revolting... i feel like it's about to kill me..."

Rion covered his eye. "Sorry, this eye doesn't belong to me so I can't change it. Lady Hanastasha says it belongs to a powerful creature that lives inside me. She also said that it's the pact and proof of my powers." Rion said.

"Hmm..." Mixi said. "Well, as long as he doesn't harm you, you'll okay, right?"

"I guess so." Rion said. "But normally it's not so sinister looking, this eye is just paranoid to my surrounding, at least that's what I believe." Rion looked up at the sky.
