Bwain- Our cat is a short-haired tuxedo cat named Bono, he lived on the streets and followed my mom into our house about a year back. :3 He's wonderful. Our dogs are a Havanese named Gonzo and a big fat Golden Retriever who needs to lose a pound or six. We've been working on that, though... I prefer dogs to cats as well, but cats are lovely creatures just the same. Tell me about yours!

I have one male cat, black and white, he used to be a stray cat too, probably he was being beated to near his death, even was hung up because there is a scar on his throat. He was found more death then alive by someone, then this cooperation that takes care of stray cats took him in and fixed him up, and we adopted him. He is very traumatized and we dont really know what did happen to him, but he is very shy and likes to hide. lately though he comes to check out the living room where we are sitting and he lets us pet him. He is finally starting to feel safe with us. ^^

The people at the stray cat rescue cooperation told us it might help to get another cat, so we got a red male tabby from a farm. He was still a baby cat when we got him, but his mom had hid her nest very well, so while he was 7 weeks or so, he hadnt been amongst people yet, so he wasn't used to it. The first few days he only growled at us and slayed his tiny paws at us, but now he is the sweetest cat of alltime. You can do anything with him, even use him as a pillow lol.
And when he gets tired of you holding him or stuff he would never slay at you, he just mews in this way like, please can I go. XD And he is the most silly of all too lol.

Then we were looking at cats for sale on this sort of ebay place, and this lady near us had this cute little female kitten, white with black and brown patches. We went to check it out and fell in love. But she wasnt being taken care of very well. She had infections all over, and apparantly had to fight for her food. When we took her home and putted down food for her she jumped on it as if she was starved and she grumbled all the time when eating scared anyone would steal it from her.
We took her to the vet and she got shots and antibiotics and ointments, and she had way too less iron in her blood and was totally underweight. Now she is a tiny chubby kitty, and she is stil somewhat fixated on food but she doesnt grumble when eating anymore, and even lets the other cats eat from the same plate as hers. And she is sooow adorable XD

Oh, that's so sweet that you saved them, all three! :D My cat wasn't doing too well when we got him, he was starved and unneutered and only eight months old, out on the streets by himself. No one ever contacted the animal shelter or nearby vets or put any ads in the paper or anything, so we were going to try to find another home for him, but at some point, we stoped looking... and then after we'd had him a month or so, we just kind of realized he was there to stay! He's kind of a mean cat, but I really love him anyway. <3

Our Golden came from a really great breeder, so there's no interesting story behind him. XD But he turned out to have an eye problem that the breeders had been unaware of at the time of the sale, so they offered to take him back... But they might have had to put him down, so they just gave us our money back and we ended up using all of it it to pay for surgery to fix his eye. XD He's partly blind in it, to this day. He repaid us for keeping him and using the money to save his sight and his life by chewing up my mom's $150 dollar leather boots two weeks later. :XD They were the only expensive shoes she had, too, out of her ten pairs or something that he could have chewed up. He's a really good dog, though, an absolute angel. <3

Our Havanese was also from a breeder, but it mgiht have been a puppy mill. :/ We don't know much about the breeder we got him from, but he's always been very skittish, and that might be because he's a small dog, or it might be from abuse. We don't really know...

Iltu, ah so you saved a cat too! Cool. Why is he mean? It could have to do with his past I guess, who knows what happened to the poor thing as he lived on the streets, he is very lucky to have found people who love him so much.

heh yeah dog chewing on shoes, that happens a lot with my aunt and her dog too, and he buries them in the garden XD My dog never did that thank goodness. But my red tabby is a good wrecker, we had just put new wallpaper on the wall of the bedroom, and he apparantly snuck into the bedroom (he is not allowed to go there XD) and used his nails on it, it was such expenisive wallpaper too, so that was quite a shame.

@candy: yeah there are some replies, according to them it is fixed. perhaps you should re-equip the slippers and leg warmers and if it doesnt work then post there?

You know if I was you I'd get that light blue yumeh sweater and wear it with your outfit, it will layer underneath the tops you are wearing and it will match so well. ( I wear that sweater too when I wear that hat XD) and it will cover the nakedness on top of your avi, it would look better I think since the rest of you avi is fully covered and it will bring some of the blue to the top of your avi. ^^ Just a suggestion.
