Ashley hid his face against Jacob's shoulder as the man told him what Alex had done, he felt so horrible, he hadn't wanted Alex to risk himself to come and stop him. He was quiet for a while as he was hugged tighter, calming down with the gentle strokes to his back.

By now, he was glad the rest of the floor had finally gone back to doing their jobs rather than watching their every move. He gave a slow nod when Jacob asked if he could stay, taking the crutch the man picked back up for him quietly. "Unless someone says you have to go." He added, but he hoped no one would bother him about it if Jacob was quiet.

"Of course," Jacob said in a quiet voice with a small smile. He walked along side Ashley back towards the man's office his eyes looking around with a relieved look that the rest of them returned to work.

Jacob was getting tired though, far too fast than normal. He ignored it though as he again found himself in that small office with a desk piled with papers.

Ashley got back to his desk and sat down and trying to remember where he'd left off when he'd been called away--then he remembered, looking towards that drafting table with a sigh. It was so much harder to work there with his condition, but he didn't have the space to do so anywhere, the boards were too big for his little desk.

Sighing, he got up once more, looking at Jacob briefly and gesturing to the couch hesitantly. He didn't like the couch and mirror being uncovered and moved. He held the crutch for a few moments before deciding it'd just be easier to but a little weight on his cast--not the best thing but he needed to be able to lean over and draw out concepts.

Jacob moved to the couch and lay down, idly watching Ashley work. Why was he so tired? He woke during the day sometimes and he never felt so tired before. He supposed part of it could be that he couldn't stay still for long amounts of time without having anything to do.

He was watching Ashley debate over the crutches. "Do you need help?"

Ashley blushed a little when Jacob noticed his slight dilemma, glancing back at him and nodding some. "Could.. you hold me up?" He needed both of his hands to sketch and hold the paper in place or flip through notes he had sitting around on the drafting desk.

He kept his hand on the crutch until Jacob was supporting him so he could lean over slightly and scribble out the rough idea someone wanted.

Jacob stood back up and moved in behind Ashley. He placed his hands on Ash's waist evectively holding him up without restricting movement and Jacob had a reason to brush up against Ashley's body.

"This good?" Jacob asked in a quiet voice watching Ashley do his work.

Jacob's hands on his hips made him blush, and he felt him in againt his body from behind him, nodding slowly. "Y-yeah..." He tried to keep concentrating on what he was working on, flipping through a few pages of notes and references, sketching out a rough drawing or two for one assignment and moving onto a few more, trying to make quick work of it all so he could turn it over to other people for more work on the ideas.

Jacob rather was having somewhat adverse effects from being up against Ashley which he'd promptly tried to ignore the reactions. But watching Ashley flip through papers was a little boring at times but he'd offered to stay and offered to help rather than allow himself to go to sleep. Alex wouldn't be comfortable with this sort of help in all likelihood.

Ashley straightened from how he'd leaned over to draw and scribble out notes, blushing a little more as he let himself lean back into Jacob some, sighing out gently. His back was sore already, but he wouldn't complain outloud, just shifting to pick up the illustrations and notes and then his crutches once the things were in an envelope he could carry them into another room with, holding the string on the package in a hand with a crutch. "I'll be back in a few minutes. I need to give these to the other group now." He said gently, he didn't want to drag Jacob around, sure others wouldn't like it much. It was better if he just stayed in his office.

It was Andrew's group of people, but he wondered if he'd even be with them now, after what had happened earlier. He didn't care either way, they were out in the middle of their work environment. He wasn't heading for an empty room now, though he had to admit he wondered what Andrew would do the next opportunity he got. They'd made a deal after all.. even if Jacob and Alex didn't like it, he wasn't about to assume Andrew was just going to let it go so easily.

Entering the room down the hall with a knock at the open door, handing the things off after getting some strange looks, and he turned to make his way out of there. He supposed he'd get looks like that for a while, it made him uncomfortable though.

Jacob nodded a bit stepping back from the other man when he was stable on his crutches. He retreated back to the couch as he waited for Ashley to return. During the process however he'd fallen asleep rather quickly compared to the fact he'd just sat down. This time was different though.. he didn't wake up as Alex after falling asleep, by the time Ashley would return to his office Jacob was truly unconscious as neither Alex or Jacob.

Ashley returned ten or so minutes later after he'd gotten distracted by someone trying to hand off another project to him, managing to get out of it after a small argument. He blinked hwen he found Jacob sleeping, raising a brow--maybe he'd just fallen asleep? Ashley went to his desk, about to sit down, but he watched his lover a few more moments, frowning as he realized htat even if Jacob had JUST fallen asleep when he'd walked in, Alex should have woken up by now.

He moved over to the couch as quick as he could, gently shaking Jacob/Alex's body, startled. "Alex? Jacob?" He didn't know who would wake up--it should have been Alex, but what if he didn't? "Alex?" He asked again, sitting ont he edge of the couch.

All that Ashley had received from the shaking were a few sleepy grunts, Jacob's eyebrows furrowed slightly as he tried to shift away from the shaking hand. He was still fast asleep and dead to the world around him aside from grunts of annoyance and a muttered "Sleeping.."

"J-Jacob.." He whined, giving him another shake. "Jacob.. Something's wrong." He didn't like this, why hadn't Alex woken up? He remembered that he'd passed out, and that was why Jacob woke up in the first place, but now was he still unconscious while Jacob was? He didn't understand it at all.

Blue eyes cracked open briefly giving Ashley an annoyed look. He was tired, he wanted to sleep why was the man stopping him from that? Tiredly he pulled Ashley down to him trying to get him to lie down with him. "Tired.. Let's sleep.."

Ashley gasped as he was pulled down, grunting and he wasn't sure about this--he had work to do. Really though... he'd never REALLY gotten to sleep with Jacob like this. Alex always woke up... he thought it would feel nice, just to lay with him this once, even if it was in his office, on a couch he hated with a passion but couldn't bring himself to get rid of. "But--nn.. " He sighed out, shifting a little to lay down better with Jacob, slidng in agianst his body and closing his eyes as he rested his ear against the man's chest.

He fell asleep to the sound and feel of Jacob's heart beating and the soft breathing of a sleeping man. A nap wouldn't be so bad, would it? He'd gotten a lot of work done that day as it was, he didn't have much more to do. He was sure he could do it if he stayed over night in the office again, like usual.

Jacob's body relaxed into that of a man dead to the world once more as he was left to sleep and joined by his lover. It was a while before he'd awoke once more without anyone bothering him to wake up. His blue eyes cracked open and he stretched slightly easing away sore muscles from sleeping on a couch. Blinking his eyes a couple times he was surprised to still be on the couch where he'd fallen asleep.

Ashley was still resting against him as Jacob woke, and he had to admit that this was probably the best rest he'd had in a while, despite it being on a couch. His eyes fluttered a little when Jacob started to stir and he made a little noise, pressing his face gently into his chest. He didn't want to wake up but he figured he probably should. By the feeling of his own muscles, he'd been laying there a while, it was amazing no one had come in and woken him up--perhaps they'd tried and didn't have much luck.

"Mnh.. ...jacob?" He asked again after a moment, assuming it must have been because the man was far too relaxed to be Alex waking up. Alex hadn't woken at all... he was worried, what had happened?

"Mmn?" Jacob grunted in a just waking up sound. He looked down at Ashley blinking suddenly, he hadn't remembered pulling Ashley down with him so he'd thought Ashley had laid down with him, or rather Alex. Licking his lips though he smiled, it was nice waking up with Ashley. His arms tightened around Ashley though as he looked across at that mirror he smiled briefly before looking down at the other man. "Yes?"

Ashley blushed as he was held closer, smiling a little and he sighed out gently, leaning in to give Jacob a little kiss. "I.. Something's wrong... Alex didn't wake up when you fell asleep, Jacob.." He whispered, furrowing his brow. "You.. you slept. The entire time. Even tugged me down to sleep too." Ash was so worried, what had happened to Alex? Anyone else might have been glad for their lover's other personality to suddenly go away, but he'd befriended Alex... and after what Alex had done for him--pretending to be Jacob just to try and come stop him...

Jacob looked at Ashley a little confused as he thought about what he'd said. His bosy was much more rested than normal, rather he felt rejuvinated rather than weaker. It started to make sense to Jacob slowly and he nodded slightly to himself more than Ashley.

"Mm.. I was exhausted when I had fallen asleep here. Strangely so. I think that my body running nonstop like the way it has been just knocks both of us out.. For it to get the needed rest.." Jacob tried to explain how it'd come to his understanding. No one's body, different person or not, could go for many days with little to no rest. "I now feel truly rested now compared to when I wake up after being Alex."

"Just.. resting then?" He sighed, a little relieved at his explanation. Smiling a bit, he shifted to sit back up on the edge of the couch, stretching slowly. He still had work to do and here he'd slept through most of the rest of the day. A lot of people had already started to head home.

"Damn." He muttered, rubbing a shoulder a little. He was sore now that he'd finally taken time to relax, searching for a crutch so he could stand up and grab the other as well, only needing to take a few steps to his desk however so he could sit and do more work. "I don't.. think i'm going anywhere tonight. I still have a lot to do now that I laid there all this time..." He chuckled, sighing out faintly, rubbing his arm a bit before flipping through a couple of piles of papers.

Jacob sat up slowly and finally stood up to finally stretch out his body perfectly. The couch was really not the best place to sleep for long periods of time. He looked over at Ashley and smiled apologetically, knowing it or not he did distract the other man from his work in which he'd promised not to. He walked over and gave Ashley's shoulders a small massage noticing the man rubbing one in what seemed like pain.

"I'm sorry that I ended up distracting you from your work," Jacob said quietly bending over a bit so it was said within his ear. He looked at those papers and sighed. If there was anything he could do to help he would certainly try.

Ashley let his eyes flutter closed as Jacob rubbed at his shoulders, swallowing slowly as he made a gentle noise. It felt good--maybe too good. "Nhm.. Jacob... If you keep doing that, you're gonna get me even more distracted." He blushed, giving a small chuckle, hands reaching up to gently caress over the man's hands.

He didn't mind of course, though he wasn't entirely sure it was appropriate in his office, while there were still some people wandering about his floor.

"Sorry," Jacob smirked a bit leaning forward to embrace Ashley gently in his arms his lips pressing briefly to Ashley's neck in a gentle kiss. He pulled away slowly though not wanting to distract him too much. "Do you want me to go?"

"Not really." He muttered, closing his eyes as he was embraced and he brought his arms around Jacob's a bit, fingers sliding over his arms slightly. "But.. you have to work again too, don't you? I can't keep you away from it forever." He said after a moment.
