Sorry for not posting last night. I fell asleep in the middle of writing up three posts for three different roleplays. ^^;; Yours, my roleplay with Kerryfox, and my roleplay with Sushi Muffins. Because I sort of abandoned them while I was sick.

Certain roleplays were easy to continue while sick, others weren't. So I played in the ones that were easier for me. The more easy going ones. ^^;;

I've tweaked the sci-fi story a little bit, thinking of names and biographies and such.

I'm not sure if I have anything to add. I don't play with profiles, but if you'd like to discuss characters that would be fine with me. What tweaks have you made to the idea?

Yes, I feel better. I'm so happy that I feel better. I'm still sick though, and groggy because I recently woke up.

Also, everyone who I roleplay with and might roleplay with: This is my mule. I had it's name changed for either the second or the third time, I've lost track. ^^;; Anyways, yeah, I post in roleplays with this, too. And when I host the Assassin game, I also end up roleplaying in the Assassin account.

So if this account and the Assassin account post in roleplays with you, please don't freak out, it's just me. ^_^

Sure, we can discuss characters here, and by profiles, do you mean pre-made characters?
If so, I understand, I usually make a new character for each R-P I join. xD

The tweak that was probably the most prominent was maybe there could be a little bit of awkwardness between the male characters, instead of them being a couple in the early posts.

And yeah, I figured this was you, along with the Assassin game account, seeing as how you made the thread it's hosted in. x3

Hehe, yeah, I made the thread with what was once my charity mule. So I informed the staff that it was going t be a game hosting mule instead of a charity mule, then Simmy and I payed for a name change.

Awkwardness at first? Awesome. I love that. Sucker for that. <3

By profiles I mean the profiles that people write out to tell each other more about their characters. I don't like that. If you're going to tell people about your characters, do it in a literate way, like typing paragraphs, and/or just introducing them slowly in the roleplay.

Since this is my first time doing a roleplay like this, I think I need to create a new character too. Hrm. Maybe there could be some questioning of personal sexualities, too... Hrm... -Getting ideas-

Yeah, the awkwardness would help ease them into the story, and I agree with the profiles, slowly revealing twists and secrets about them as they get to know each other would be a lot more fun than reading 46539847659834 page posts involving what's what and who's who.

Well, I was thinking that either one of the two guys (or both, it doesn't matter, really) could have never really thought about sexuality before they started getting close, and y'know, deal with that whole 'Wait, am I gay?' scenario in his head and such.

Y'know, to add to the awkwardness and confusion.

Alright. What age range do you think the two main characters should be? I think anything younger than nineteen is too young, in fact, I'm even thinking that nineteen would be too young.

But I want to know your input on what their ages should be.

I would prefer younger characters, maybe 21-24?
That way they can do most anything legally. (( Based on reality standards. XD ))

That sounds like a fine age range to me. -Nods- Just sometimes people will have this great idea, then I find out they want to play with characters that are 14-17, and their excuse for them being able to have sex and such is 'they're mature 14-17 year olds'. -Shakes head slowly- I hate it when people drop that on you.

But the age range sounds fine. Since I'm not sure of the settings yet, because as I've said, this is the first time I've done a roleplay like this, I'd prefer if you started the thread whenever you think we're ready for that. ^_^

Though it's going to take me a bit to reply, I have three roleplays I'm going to reply in before I take on replying to a new one, hope you understand, but I've left two people waiting the entire time that I was sick, and I feel very guilty for doing so. ^^;;

Yeah, I've seen a few R-Ps like that around, mostly ones that led to P-M, which was rather disturbing. o-o

Well, I have about... Ten or so active private roleplays, I believe? I pay more attention to the ones that are easier for me when I have writer's block in other roleplays, which unfortunately happens more in some than others. ^^;;

Would you mind writing out something about the settings etc so I could have more of a reference. In my mind the settings keep changing because I'm unsure of the idea you have, and this is my first time. ^^;;

I honestly don't watch that much Cowboy Bebop, my friend Kiersten did, but I never really got into it. o-o
So I'm kind of unsure about what you mean.

Setting -
Character One and Character Two are living in a small city on a newly discovered planet, dedicated to shipbuilding and merchanting, they eventually sign up to be drafted as explorers to well, explore the new planet, maybe finding something along the way to make them famous?
And maybe they find more than treasure, they find love. XD

Anyway, as I've implied before, right now I am looking to try out a sort of monster-and-maiden RP, with a japanese fantasy theme.

As I'm looking up the list of creatures in Japanese Mythology, I'm seeing that there's a host of all sorts of new ideas.... much of which are actually kinda gross. Even though I'm now unable to access the corresponding pages on Wikipedia, here are the creatures I find most appealing.

Akamataa - a snake spirit from Okinawa.
Aobōzu - the blue monk who kidnaps children.
Ashimagari - a spook which entangles the legs of travelers.
Baku - an auspicious beast who can devour nightmares.
Jyūbi-ōkami - a purple wolf with ten tails.
Nekomusume - a cat in the form of a girl
Shuten-dōji - an infamous princess-kidnapping, bloodthirsty oni.
Yato-no-kami - deadly snake-gods which infested a field.
Kyūketsuki - a Japanese vampire.

I was thinking that maybe there'd be a plot based on this list? Like maybe a story of a Neko princess (or Nekomusume-Hime) who is seduced by a Shuten-dōji (or a Jyūbi-ōkami or Kyūketsuki?) via his servants and/or spells... which pretty much starts with the latter disguised as a Aobōzu (or one could of been hired) who kidnaps the princess' younger sister.

As for the servants/spells, they might be the other creatures on the list, in name or otherwise.

Or instead of the Neko-girl, there could be a Miko (or shrine maiden) whose charge, the Neko princess is kidnapped, and the Miko is the one seduced.

Hm....

Silver: Don't worry about it, I do the exact same thing. I think I might reuse the name of one of my existing characters. It was only a name he had for a while, anyways. Actually, there's two names that he's had that I might use. Trying to decide which one I wanna use. XD

Sorry about that. We could try a different kind of folklore. I know a couple that could be mixed together.

By that last sentance, I mean a couple of folktales/myths/whatever... ^^;
