Hm... Popular hangouts... Maybe an old fashioned drive-in movie theater in the middle of the city. Libraries and museums (not the normal person's idea of a hangout, but my character is obsessed with books and reading), maybe there's an amusement park or something. Bowling alleys, skate park, and such.

Yeah, that's where I got the idea, but there wouldn't necessarily have to be lots of immigrants.
It could just be a cultural centre, like Chinatown, etc.

Cricket; Lol, nooo. XD I'm not a fan of romance roleplays, as I have no idea how to roleplay romance. There's no way I'd try to stick something like het romance into a roleplay, when I don't know how to cop with a romance roleplay in the first place. XD

Iltu and Lathrine: I never replied to you guys (and I'm sorry about that), but since we currently have a three way roleplay going between us, I feel replying at this point is unnecessary.

Everyone else who might come along and read this: I am still looking for new roleplay partners. In fact, I even have an idea I want to play with, however, the person who wishes to play in that idea will be limited in what they can do. No, I am not godmoding, but it's because I need someone to play a human with limited knowledge of vampires, as I wish to play a vampire that doesn't follow most 'rules' that other people use regarding vampires.

This vampire is different from the type of vampires I used to play and on occasion till right about.

I do consider myself literate. Several people have called me a literate roleplayer, but if you want an actual example I can give you that. I like to rp all sorts of fantasy, modern/fantasy, is a great genre so is medieval/fantasy and quest like settings. I also enjoy Science Fiction, and I do rp things that concern vampires and werewolves and such but only if I like the person a lot. When it comes to pairings/romance, if it happens it happens. All I will really say.

I don't know what else to put up.... except call me Boom and... I await a response.

I've edited the first post to include details about my vampire. You can take a look if you want. Right now I really feel like playing as him, but if you'd rather something else, feel free to pitch an idea.

Rez (Resmida), is a red head that stands at 6'0, green eyes and around 18 years of age. Always carries around his guitar and is a roamer. A runaway at the age of 16, he makes a living by performing on street corners and on other people's hospitality. He is very optimistic, and it looks like he could always stay in that awkward teenage stage.

.... Rez is the only one I can think of at the moment. I can use someone older if you want.

Hrm. Jada (Jay-duh, my vampire) has a habit of taking care of strays, usually animals, so I can see potential with that specific character...

Jada's twenty-three, so there's only a five year age gap. And he's not the stereotypical 'feed on the nearest human and be violent with them' kinda vampire.

Well, I think we need to decided about the setting in which they meet. Jada works in a nightclub as one of the singers in a cover band. It's not an all-out rave kinda nightclub. It's mostly a dance floor, but has booths and such to sit in, a VIP area that has strippers, and a staff room. There's also a bar and behind the bar is a kitchen that serves a limited variety of different foods (club goers can't get into the kitchen).

The nightclub is on the outskirts of the city.

Think they could meet there? Or is that not the sort of place your character would be found?

Jada can be kind of an asshole, but it's mostly just a front.

Well... Yah that would be someplace he would be. Most likely he would see if they need someone to play the guitar or bass. He's a guitarist that is self taught, and uses his ear mostly in playing...

Perhaps he got recruited to play for the night because someone couldn't make it or something like that.

Well, the club he plays at doesn't just nab someone to play for a night or so. The cover band actually has a lot of members that hang around, and they all get a turn to play according to their specialty, so if someone was unable to play, they'd still have backups. XD

It's 'cause the staff there are pretty tight-knit, and one of the reasons they're like that is to conceal Jada's identity as a vampire. His coworkers know because he felt if they were going to work together that they deserved to know.

Oh and I looked at your request thread, and I can't promise you two hundred and fifty words a post. I believe in quality over quantity, and I really hate forcing posts, let along forcing posts to be longer than what feels comfortable for the specific scene, details required in post, etcetera.

I find as long as I post a certain amount I usually get something back. And, I say usually....

Sometimes I do post less by I always try to hit 250 (personal goal).

And I understand quality over quantity.

So... -thinks- Most likely he'd try to find some sort of work then. If it is on the outskirts, long as he hears music he'll be attracted to it.

See, I get as many as I can, and then I stick with the roleplayers that I really enjoy. I figure it's overall faster and easier than going through literate roleplayers one by one. This way I can find who I like and who I don't like all at once.

Danielle is one of the quietest girls in her grade. She usually has her nose in a book, studying or something. Doesn't talk alot, stutters when she meets someone new. It's your geeky glasses girl stereotype.

No-one suspects she's a vampire hunter. And a damn good one at that.

Danny Goodman can walk into a room, and have everyone notice her. A bit on the teasing side, if you give her a wrong look, it takes her less than a minute to kick your ass.

It's alright, a lot of people get confused, especially because my avatar changes genders, though this one is actually male. XD

In physical sense, I am female. But I'm transgendered (body of a woman, but mostly male-minded). I really hate being referred to as female, so online I kind of demand to be called male, considering in real life almost no one does, 'cause they're looking at my body instead of recognizing who I am inside.

Well no, I'll take out the in less than a minute part, but she can still. They're the same person... It just depends on where she is at the moment.
