Yay! The starting day of the event is here!

Platinum: Ah. owo Like I said, I'm in Running Start, so I only pay for books and extra fees, which, last quarter, still added up to almost 500$ for only three classes.

Okay this has probably been asked and answered a hundred times over. But since there is no FAQ I feel as though I have a right to ask.

When is the event starting? When are we going to get event items? And how do we go about getting them?

I'm new to Mene, so I don't really know how events here work.
Anyone wanna explain? D:

Yes I agree with Mae, I am new here as well. How do the events generally work?

As of yet, the event hasn't started, but it will start today. Just...later today. XD; No one knows exactly when it will start, but they'll generally make an annoucement.
As for items, the way they've done it in the past is this: you earn a certain type of currency by posting (it's different from gold and goes away once the event is over), and this currency can be used to collect items from the item droppers (they're little creatures that will appear on the appropriate pages). Each day, a new clue is released (these clues will give you some sort of riddle that points to a part of the site where the item dropper is found) where you can find an event item. In exchange for a certain amount of this currency, you will receive the item. In addition to this currency, you receive a different kind of currency from some kind of timed drop (i.e. trick-or-treating every ten minutes at the Halloween event) and this can be used to purchase new commons at the event store. These items can also be bought with gold for half price until the event is over, when they're moved to the usual stores at full price.
Now that's how it's been done in the past, but with the teams, we're obviously going to be competing in some sort of challenge. I don't know if this will be in addition to or replacing the other system. :3 We'll just have to see.

The extended time was just so people could pick their teams. You know how some people can get--taking forever on the smallest decision. :3 I'm excited to see the challenges.

The Halloween Event was something like that too...

I noticed a lot of red green and blue in the threads I post in and it seems to me a splash of yellow would do and the cookies and cocoa sound nice too.
