If you have arrived at this thread, then it is very likely that you are interested in hearing some of my poetry, in which case, thank you. Keep in mind that some of these works are still in the making, some of them are actual song lyrics to actual songs I have written, and some are just the small snippets of ideas that haven't quite formed entirely. With that in mind, I invite you to take a peek into the mystical land which is my imagination. Follow the muse, she'll guide you through it.

This song was written with a slight Peter Pan inspiration (It is one of my favorite stories) so you'll see some vague references in there. I have not had the opportunity to post it to my SheezyArt account, which is where most of my recordings go. If you are interested in hearing some of my music, please message me outside of the thread.
NeverNever
Verse One
I once believed in fairies,
closed my eyes
and flew somewhere unknown.
I used to believe in something,
sometime long ago.
The years have not been kind to me.
I lost my way.
The second star faded out,
fade away.
I grew up this way.
Refrain
Second star to the right,
out of reach, out of sight.
In a dream, somewhere far off,
distant land.
Take me back and let me see
what kind of world
waits for me.
Something more magical
than what I already am.
Already am.
Verse Two
I once believed in fiction,
in the stories told
upon my father's knee.
I used to believe in something
so much more than me.
The world has not been kind to me.
And I forgot
the way to fairytales,
slowly lost.
And I wandered lost.
(Refrain)
Hook
And there is magic here
beneath the trees
between the sun spots,
foilage falling,
falling, falling to my knees.
And I am more than this.
I swear I'm more than something
I once believed
everyone else said I was.
Maybe there is more
than what I thought there was.
(Refrain)
And there is magic here....
and there is magic...here....
End Refrain
Second star to the right,
always shining in the night,
in my dreams, flying far off,
distant lands.
Bring me back and let me be,
somewhere the world
waits for me.
Somewhere back home,
dreaming I already am.
Already am...
Already am.

This one I do have on my SA account and I think it even has slight instrumental accompaniment compliments of my lovely friend Sam. Again, if you wish to hear any of my music, please message me privately.
Dreamer Song
Verse One
Wind through the trees,
can you hear their songs echoing?
Lights in the air,
watch them dance and fade away.
Step lightly, children,
our mystery's unfolding.
Shadows unfurl,
wishful fairies come to play.
Chorus
Oh, in the dark,
the moon's breaking through the clouds.
See the stars, shining bright.
Seize the night; it is all ours.
Seize the night; it is all ours.
(Vocalizing)
Verse Two
Whispers and stories,
the fire is slowly dying.
Silent rebirth,
the sun's light is coming fast.
All little children,
your eyes are filled with morning.
Rest and forget,
this world's magic never lasts.
Chorus
Oh, in the dawn,
the sun transforms all we see.
When by morning you wake,
this shall all be but a dream.
This shall all be but a dream.
But this never was a dream.
(Vocalizing)

This one actually has a bit of a history to it. You'll begin to see, if you follow my work long enough, that I have a lot of inspiration from rps I do in World of Warcraft. This was the first song I wrote, I do believe, and was inspired by the relationship between my blood elf character, originally named Nedea and then later rename Kierys, and one of her blood elf lovers, Kenais. The song details her emotions after her death and then rebirth. For full details, feel free to pm me. It is actually quite an interesting story. Titled "Forsaken Lament" because "Forsaken" is the name of the race of undead, which is what she became when she died. Long time WoW players will understand what I'm talking about. This is by far, one of my favorite songs.
Forsaken Lament
Verse One
The softness of you
pressing against me,
I hear music in
your voice whispering.
Tell me to stay;
you're all I'll ever need.
But despite what-if wishes
you still saw me bleed.
Ref
I fall away,
star-empty darkness
pressing in on me.
Where everything in my heart
crumbles into
silent memories.
In all this cold
I can barely feel
my heart beating.
I can hardly breathe.
Verse Two
This weight on my chest
is too much to bear.
So much painful truth
I can't stand to hear.
And all I want
is to be at your side,
but the coldness between us
says you are not mine.
Ref
I fall away;
star-empty darkness
takes its hold on me.
And everything fades away
into just a
quiet memory.
And all this space
is too much
loneliness for me.
I can hardly breathe.
Hook
Everything in pieces
and it's my blood on my hands.
I can't find the words to try
and make you understand.
I know I'm not worthy
and you deserve much more than me.
But I'll shoulder any pain
so long as you're happy.
Ref
I fall away;
this empty darkness
is all I can see.
And everything I ever wanted,
nothing more
than memories.
In all this quiet
I can hear
every heart breaking,
and I don't want to breathe.
Please don't leave me be.

I assure you that I have plenty more, but I will reserve those for until I get some replies and general interest from the forum. If no one is interested in hearing more, then I will leave it as it is. Again and as always, if you wish to hear any of my music, please message me outside the thread for the link to my SheezyArt account. The follow posts will be reserved for possible additions to this thread. If there is enough interest, then I will fill those posts and make new ones as needed. Feel free to comment on any of my work.
