Yes, I like to help paint the sets for the school's musicals, so I end up around drama people and they quote plays at random. XD

So, plot idea I'd like to discuss with you... I got to thinking about Kof's dad. Kof's mommy and daddy dated for a little while, then began to have 'intimate relations' *coughcough* before they got engaged or declared themselves mates. Kof's mom got pregnant with him, and his dad ran off because he didn't want a kid. Once his mom got over it, she realized that he'd been emotionally abusive, and she didn't want a guy who abandoned his kid, anyway. Since she was his only parent and never made the sort of betryal his father did, Kof's always felt a great loyalty to his mother and the utmost hatred for his father.

So, what if Kof's dad showed up, wanting to make ammends? Because then Kof and his mom would be all like, "GETOUTTA HERE YOU SONUVVABEACH" and there would be lots of fun drama and conflict. And that would be furthered by some people getting mad at Kof because they think that he's lucky to have a shot to get to know his dad, and others firmly believing that he should just not give him any chance what so ever, and of course others in between the two extremes or on the fence about the issue.

Sounds like there could be much lulz and character development to be had out of a plot like that. o: I say go for it!

Yes, Koffy-poo probably wouldn't like us if we made his night of fun turn out to be night of not-fun. Of course, he probably won't like us just for calling him Koffy-poo. XD

I do not know. o: If Doriki was there, he'd probably be going all "If he was emotionally abusive and high-tailed it out of there as soon as he found out that he was gonna have a kid, I have to say not to give the suckah another chance! He already blew it! D<" But he's not so he won't. :<

Khani would probably also take that stand, but would be willing to let Kof's father have another chance if he had significantly improve and was a better person. Rolian would be the wrong person to ask, but he wouldn't want to give the guy another chance. In his eyes there are no second chances to be a better parent. You get one chance and that's it. :< D'iala and Mehen would want to see how Kof's father acted around Kof and his mother before relaying their judgement, but Faeran would be willing to give the guy a second chance.

Oooo, good! Differing standpoints. Fun fun fun! I'm curious about Aqua and Merak as well, since they're closest to Kof. o:

Nami'd have about the same reaction as Doriki. XD And Viv would be even worse- she's best friends with Kof's mother, so she'd be at the guy's throat before you could bat an eye. Slaine's reaction is predictable, "NO SECOND CHANCE YOU LEFT YO BABY RAWR." Raie'd be hesitant to go either way- you don't get second shots parenting, but he'd feel bad for him. Varkal and Jala would be pissed at Kof- here's his dad willing to fix things, and Kof won't take it. Varkal's mom just died while Raie and Nami were away, so that's a raw wound. And then Jala's mom died when she was a kid, so she's also of the opinion that Kof is lucky to have a second chance.

Aqua would probably be all cheesy and crap and be telling him to do what feels right. XD Merak'd have to bop him on the head for that. But they'd both support what ever Kof ended up choosing.

Slaine is always predictable when children are involved. XD

I do not think I have ever actually RPed a character, with the exception of children, who has just lost their parent(s). I mean, with older characters, it tends to be more of a "My parent(s) died/left/vanished/were taken away years ago." So this is new for me. D:
