It's only a couple months until Otakon, but as usual, I won't be going, and will probably forget that it's happening on that particular weekend. XP I've actually only been there once, though that was for only one day about four or five years ago, if I recall properly.

Hello, Cricket and Max! *waves* I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you earlier, Max. D:

OHMYGOSH. So Ju and I saw a movie and when my mom was picking us up, WE SAW A CAT IN THE GRASS BY THE PARKING LOT. So Ju and I are all "We gotta save him!"
And my mom said no because we'd end up keeping him and she can't afford another cat, and we sat there arguing for as few minutes and then we went home and she kept trying to change the subject and I kept telling her how awful she was.

And then we got home and Ju went to her house to ask her parents if they could go save him, and as soon as we got inside I started crying and then my mom was like, "OH FINE. D<" So I got Ju and she brought a cat carrier and I brought treats, and he was still there, but he kept running from us. D: So eventually he hid and we couldn't find him, so we just dumped all the treats near where he ran off and left. I hope he's okay. ;_; But I'm glad we went back and tried to help him. And so is my mom.

Awww D: *hugs Rommy*

I named him Kevin. D: He was a pretty pretty cat. At least he's near places that throw out lots of food...

Yes yes, I'm glad I at least attempted to do somthing. *nod nod* Goodness knows I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I'd just let it go and left him there without trying. ><

I'm sure he'll get picked up by a good owner. c: Or maybe he was lost and his owners will find him and take him home. X3 <3

It's probably a very good bet that he's very resourceful, and will surely be able to find food for himself. Though, it's most certainly hopeful that someone will be able to pick him up soon, and he'll have a loving home. =)

Don't worry about not having a conversation with me earlier, Rommy. I've been pretty out of it most of the weekend, and have been reading fanfiction. I found out last night that it was less confusing for me to read, than try and keep up with a fast moving conversation, or much of any conversation at all, as I was confused all night. XD

We think he's feral, so I don't know if that will happen. D: But I betcha he's a smart little guy and can handle himself.

There's a family.. er... pack... or um, pride, I don't know, of feral cats not too far from where he was, so maybe he'll find them and they'll let him join their number. I worry alot less about them, because they live behind McDonalds and have lots of people that bring food to them. Not to mention they live in the back parking lot where only the delivery trucks go, there's plenty of trees and bushes nearby, and a Mexican resturant next door if they can't get enough from the trash/cat food donors at McDonald's. Plus they have alot less risk of being hit by a car then poor Kevin! He lives in a busy parking lot near a very busy road! :gonk:

I'm sure he'll be perfectly fine. c: *hugs* I betcha he's a really smart cat.

And once again, it's quite alright, Rommy. =) Though, it is true, I agree completely. I can't remember how many conversations I had last night, but they were all confusing to me, and on top of that, I had had strange dreams the other night, which really made my brain spin. @[email protected]

Well, if he is feral, and doesn't get together with the other cats, I'm sure if he gets picked up, they'll try to get him to calm down and be used to humans. Though, it is good that people at least try to take care of the cats in the wild, even if they are feral and can be a nuisance at times. =(

There was a news story earlier this week about a pit bull that someone had doused in fuel and set alight, probably trying to kill the poor animal. D= Thankfully at the time, a police officer noticed the dog and put out the fire, before taking it to a vet clinic to get treatment. The animal rescue that took the dog in tried to care for the dog, and she did survive for a few days, but with burns over 100% of her body, she had to eventually be put down today. =(
