Raie: *hugs* C:
One of my friends asked me who I would choose as a sibling out of all my characters... Okay, well that was a super hard question, but Raie is definitely one of my first choices. :> *pats him*

Out of your characters, who would you pick for a sibling? c: If you can't pick, um... don't feel bad. XD Neither could I. Still can't.

I've been doing well, I'm glad to hear you're doing okay. ^^
School let out about a month ago for me, but I've been dealing with stuff at home and just getting into the swing of my lazy summer days (which is hard for me, I feel like I should be doing work!). I'm getting really attached to doing nothing though, haha. XD
What about you, when does school let out?

Never. :3 I'm homeschooled, so 'S pretty much school 24/7, which also accounts for the crazy times I'm online. XD
Getting into the swing of lazy summer days is an excellent excuse for not being around. x3

Oh yes, Lathy, before I forget. I didn't have time to get even halfway through Shadowmancer. XD; I don't like the writing style, but it's a good story. Only it's making me extremely agitated for some reason, and when I get agitated reading books, it doesn't go away until I finish it, and sometimes even for a couple days after, so I've been like, agitated and nervous the last few days. o_o
I have no idea why books do and don't agitate me. Books I've don't care for might ruffle me quite a bit, while ones I adore might make me react strongly, but not unsettle me at all, no matter how suspensfule/dramatic it gets. And just as often it's the other way around.
I think it's anything having to do with torture, slavery, rape, kiddnapping, and excessive amounts of pain, be it emotional or physical. Or a combination of any of the above, if one doesn't do it on it's own. o_o; I'm so weird about books.

Yess... I don't particularly care for the writing style of Shadowmancer myself, but I'm biased/ spoiled on the writing styles of favorite authors, so. D:

I don't really have favorite writing styles. D: Shadowmancer is a bit... straight-forward for me, I suppose. I don't mind straight-forward with humor mixed in, but straight-forward on it's own... Eeeeeeeeeh.
Do I make any sense? I suppose what I mean is that I just feel like Shadowmancer is kind of like "He did this. It made him feel like this. He met someone that looked like this. Then he did this. Then he thought this." But it does it in a way that isn't dettached (which I do like), funny, or interesting in some other way. Do you know what I mean? XD;

Yes. D: Characters are my favorite part of a book- the writing style and plot can be crap, but if I love the characters enough, I will keep reading it. So when we don't get to know the characters well, it makes me sad. :<

Learning characters is the best part! DX
Speaking of which, Max should be learning more about who MacKenzie is, instead of letting him go off on the wayside. =( But Max has been so busy, she's even forgotten about Max herself. XD
OH! And Star Trek, it was good! I loved the effects, and the interactions, and just plain everything! <3 I just wish the experience for me was better, because I was alone. I must just be someone to enjoy certain movies better with company. >.>;;
I think next weekend I'll go to a matinee and see X-Men. Not only is that cheaper, but I'll be doing something during the day, rather than tying up my evening. =)
Another OH! XD Happy Page 600! We are extremely chatty people! =D

Max- I'm glad you liked it! I don't think I liked it quite as much as most people I know who have seen it did, but I did enjoy it. I basically want Spock to adopt me, so. XP

Aye. Same here, Rommy. D: The writing style can suck. The plot can't exactly suck because it's the point of the book, but.... there's no plot with out characters, and with out the plot there's no book. D:
Edit; Yaaaaaay! Page 600! 8D

I dunno... Like, in Love Marriage, there was a plot, but it wasn't very concrete or anything. It was more of a giant character sketch based on detailing a family, and I positively loved it. I mean, the end confused me, but up until the last few chapters, it was one of the best books I've read recently.
Page 600 omg! <3 Cool!

It was very good. =) I was actually expecting a bit more greatness, but I was also put up to a lot of hype by my best friend/ex-fiance, about how great it was, especially in comparison to X-Men. :roll:
There were a few times I expected Spock to go Sylar, especially when he said, "Interesting." XD Of course, that's even from just watching only Season One of Heroes with Zachary Quinto playing Sylar. XP

Mostly just talk about characters and plots, and some about movies, I think. x3
