Lathy- Oh, the character supported it very well! I loved it so much because the characters were so great and tightly woven into their relationships and personalities. <3 To borrow your wording, what I mean is that to me, great characters can totally support absence of plot/a dumb plot/a cliche plot. Of course, unless the book is meant to be a character portrait, it's rare to find a book with good characters and a sucky plot, but it happens. o_o

Like Atomic Lobster- stupid plot, but the characters were SO funny that I couldn't put it down. Or Mud Girl... I mean, I don't even remember if that book was about anything. XD; But the main character was so awesome that I liked it anyway.

'Course, you're more right than me, at least in my opinion. It's way more logical to look for good plot before good characters. XD;

Max- I never saw heroes, so I luckily didn't have that problem. XD I watch next to no TV and very few movies, so I don't often deal with that sort of thing.

What, Love Marriage? Oh yes, it was fantastic! The narrator, Yalini, wasn't really attatched to anything or anyone, and didn't even know most the the realatives she talked about, but the characters were still so vivd and intense. <3

My favorite ones were Tharshi and Uma. Just so you know if you read the book. :P

Same here, Rommy. XP I'm more apt to watching tv only when extremely bored, or if I can't get online, and that's not always a guarantee, as I always have a book handy that can be read.
I actually spend far more time reading fanfiction online and chatting between my online communities, as well as checking the news. The only reason I actually saw Heroes was because my friend lent me his season one, which I unfortunately took almost six months to watch fully through. DX
I know for sure that I have several DVD movies, at least a couple years old, that I've yet to even open, let alone watch. XP

Lathy- It is a good choice. c: Not my usual thing, but I adored it.

Max- Haha, I am in much the same boat. XD I have several DVDs I got for birthdays/Christmases in years past... they've not been touched.

Oooo, sounds fun~ c: I'm watching an episode of "history detectives," a history show from PBS that... is apparently classified as English work, despite the obvious. o_o; I might pop in to fool with my Sims, though. X3 It does sound fun.

That show sounds interesting. o:

It is~ o: They don't normally go very in depth on detail, just as far as the people who contacted them and said "HEY! I have this thing, from this time, and I want learn this and this and this about it. :D" and learn what they want- or at least, try. XD But it's a kinda fun show. :D
