Oh, they're PRECIOUS! <3 Sweet little boys. Keee. :)

These are pictures of me and my boys. The first one is Smokey, named for his gray color. He's a huge tomcat; the second is Boomer, a little lanky kitty that can't sit still. XD

Aww, such cute kitties! :heart:

I actually was off listening to my playlist and got an urge to see if there was a music video for 'Mr. Roboto' by Styx. I found one, amongst several, and also refound the Evolution of Dance video, which is hilarious. =D

Thanks! ^^ They're my baby boys, definitely.

That Evolution of Dance video IS hilarious. I can't remember all the times I've watched it.

The Pursuit of Happiness just came on TNT, and I forgot how horribly sad this movie is. D:

Everyone has such cute cats! Max, your cat sitting in a pot is so adorable. XD Cricket, them holding one another is SO ADORABLE, and Wendy, yours has such pretty eyes! This is my boy, though in a link, since the file is huge...

Argh, I was napping again. X_x My mom is thinking it might be iron-deficiency anemia, since I'm constantly fatigued, my heart starts beating rapidly for no reason sometimes, and because any color in my skin is always leeched out right away. So we're going to put me on an iron rich diet and see if I improve. If I don't, I have to get my blood tested and whatnot. o_o

.... You know, I wonder if that's what I have, Rommy. o_o I'm not one for napping- except when my period hits and I take an advil, because Advil seems to make me sleepy- but everything else... hits home. o: I'll bring it up with my mom and see what she thinks. c:

And welcome back! x3

This article has some really good information on it in kids and teens. c:

My mom was saying the foods with msot iron are dark leafy spinach and liver, so I said I would have to develop a taste for both. She goes, "Oh my god I WOULD NEVER FEED YOU LIVER." I mean, I guess it's just another part of an animal, and it you eat the flesh, why not the organs so you use everything? But even so, that doesn't mean I'm in any hurry to try it, so I'm grateful. XD Though if I had to, I would.

Ohhh, thank you for the link! o: *goes to take a peek*

I like spinach, never had liver, win-win for me. |D I'll just start having a lot of spinach or something.

OHGODBLOODTEST. D: *dies* DO. NOT. WANT. x_X Imma just eat lots of stuff that's iron-rich and see if the symptoms get better. |D If they do, I probably had IDA and won't have to have a horrid, horrid blood test.

I've had liver. It's probably something you have to acquire a taste for, as I can eat it if I have to, but to me, it's not the greatest.

Such an adorable kitty, Rommy! <3
Stryker is so adorable sitting in his pot, I just can't help showing him off in there.

Sisters. :roll: I went outside for a few minutes, and my sister decided she wanted to criticize me for my 'non'-fashion sense. XP

Iltu's kitty is so pretty! Gorgeous eyes; wonderful camera, too. @[email protected]

I'm bored to tears; been watching TV off and on, wondering if I should scavenge for food or work on a character application for a board that I'M helping to run. Pff, priorities. @[email protected]; I don't deal well with them. XD

Lathy- And this just has flat out lists of foods to eat that are rich in iron, foods that help you absorb iron, and foods that make it hard to absorb iron, while this just helps you make sure you're getting roughly enough iron. C: They're seriously my new most helpful things ever.

Only, since spinich and certain other iron-rich vegetables makes it hard for your body to absorb said iron, make sure you eat them seperately from other iron-rich food. c:

Uh-oh. My mom has declared she changed her mind and I need to go to the doctor ASAP because apparently anemia in any form is nothing to be trifled with. o: And when my mama says go to doctor, I GO TO DOCTOR. 'Cause she's a nurse and usually thinks she can treat stuff herself. XD;

Also, blood tests for iron are easy-peasy. c: They just prick your finger and take a few drops of blood to put in a machine they reads out your iron level, that's all. *got one when she tried to give blood* It's not like they stick a needle in you and draw out vials of blood ior some such thing. *nods*

Max- He's wailing right now because he wants to go upstairs, but he's stuck down here with me. XD
That's so funny! <3 What a cute kitty Styker is.

Awww, how mean of her! XD My sister is like that with me as well.

Wendy- It's my sister's camera, she saved up like 200 bucks for it. o: So I like to steal it sometimes. XD I love taking pictures, I might get one of my own when I save enough money.

Ssss, if you're sure.... >_> *HAETS blood tests* If it's just a prick, I'm fine with it. D: If it's like... "I have this needle that I wanna stick in your arm! :D" HELL. NO. *shudders* That's what my previous doctor wanted to do to make sure my periods were fine. Draw blood and do 405283560 tests then draw moar blood and just... no. Just no. XD;

Nakies for the links, again! o:

Oh mai. o: Yes... your mom says go to the doctor, you go to the doctor. xD

Yes, it's totally fine. It's this little thing the size of a tic tac box, only much thinner, and there's a tiny, skinny little vial on one side. The put it against your finger and a needle NINJA STABS you, the vial fills with blood in a few secons, and they put it in a machine that tells you your iron level. :3 It hurts a bit, but not enough to make a sound in front of a doctor. If I was home, it'd just be the kind of thing where I would go "Ow!" and then move on with my bussiness.

I'm fairly certain that they only draw draw that much blood when they don't know what's wrong or want to find out general stuff, not a specific thing. My dad gets tested for HIV/AIDS other blood-related diseases every few years, amd he just gets a finger prick and has to put drops of blood in eight little squares on this card thing, and they just test each one for a different problem. :>

My mom says go to the doctor and I shall, but DO NOT WANT. ._. *scared of exams*

Okay, yeah, so it's like when I jab myself with a needle sewing? o: Totally fine with that. |D

That's completely different then what my doctor wanted to do. xD; It was just a general "We want to make sure that nothing's wrong" that sounded like it was going to involve more of my blood then when I tripped over fricking AIR and skidded a foot on my knee on gravel. xD; So yeah. I was NOT peachy keen about that idea and never got the test. Because I'm a wuss. o_o;

D: *hugs* I am too, so I understand. ;<

Hopefully everything will turn out okay for you, Rommy. =)

It doesn't help that my sister just turned fifteen, and thinks she's one of the top experts on today's fashion, and I should go tanning, and get a current wardrobe, even though most of my clothes still fit me, and I don't care to go tanning and burn. I'll stay pale, thanks, and get my sun in small doses. =)

It does! It especially stinks because I'm wearing a cute shirt, but it's one that I've had literally for years, which was actually from about middle school when I got the shirt, and it was even a hand-me-down, so that makes it worse in her eyes. :roll: It's not like I was going out anywhere, except for the bank, and I did that this morning, unfortunately in the clothes I was wearing yesterday. Eh, just not outdated cute taste. XD It's actually a plain white shirt with a little frog on it, where the top half of the frog is stars, and the bottom half is stripes, exactly like on the American Flag. =)
She just has to be one of those types that wears the latest in styles, and if you aren't as well, you have no style. :roll: Oh! I can't forget that she told me to do something with my hair as well. I'm guessing she means style/straighten it, but I'm never completely sure with her. Probably because I need to wash my hair anyway, and it was just pulled back because I was hot this afternoon.

Awwww! X3 Want! I'm not normally one for US-Flag themed stuff, but that sounds too cute to resist! <3

Haha, she's complete opposite of me- I go out of my way to avoid what ever happens to be 'in'... to the point that when I was told that belly shirts were in a few years ago by a close friend I dashed inside to change, because I happened to be wearing one since it was my only clean tank top. XD

Lathy- Oh, apparently I lied to you. o_o According to my mom they do take vials of blood when testing iron deficiency. WHY, I don't know, but... She's also saying I now don't have to have it checked out unless an iron-rich diet doesn't work. Please to make up your mind, Miss Lady! D:

I don't mind blood tests, I just hate people poking at me to tell me every little thing that's wrong, whether or not it's negative to my health. Seriosuly, at my last check up, which was in October, the doctor told me I was a normal weight for my height, but should "work on loosing some anyway." Aha, WHAT? Because being a TEENAGE GIRL and isn't hard ENOUGH on my self confidence!? And now my DOCTOR is telling me I should be on the thin side of 'normal' because normal isn't good enough? X_x Going to the doctor hurts my feelings. XD;

*works on them* ._.

Max- Thanks, I'm sure it will. :)

Ah, mine is thirteen. XD I'm sixteen, but I run with the art geeks/band geeks/drama geeks/chior geeks, and she runs with the popular pack. So we're in very different worlds, and admittedly, she's much more educated when it comes to fashion. XD Not that it bothers me, I quite enjoy my funky little artsy/hippie/indie/nerd/comfy/IDKWTF I'M WEARING style.

Fashion is for people who care more, and I... don't. She has trouble grasping that. If I'm wearing something and she's like, "That's in right now!" I'm like, "Really?" ...And just kind of move on. XD If I like it and it happens to be fashionable, I wear it if I have it and feel like wearing it, but that's not often.

I've had bad experiences the past two times they had to take blood for blood tests. . . like, passing out bad. @[email protected] The stick and the needle going in isn't the bad part; I take shots easily. It's just the whole pull of blood coming out of the vein and the taking of the needle OUT of the vein when they're done. Ugh, it makes me sick just typing this and thinking about it. @[email protected]

But hopefully you'll be okay with the iron deficiency thing, Rommy. All you have to do most of the time is take supplements in the form of tablets for things like that. . . at least that's what I've heard.

Oh, I am so glad that I'm not the only one that thinking about that makes feel ill, Wendy. D: Needles in general I'm fine with. The whole drawing blood bit... *shudders* Makes me feel very queasy. @[email protected] There was a topic on the GD a few months back about a user who decided to draw their own blood, and I had to close the tab and walk away for a while because it made me so ill reading about.

I've never actually passed out, but I came thiiiiiiis close to it at my last blood test. D:

I agree completely. XD I mean, I've got clothes on, what more do they want? It really doesn't bother me what everyone else is wearing, unless it's something I have already, or it looks comfy. I've only just started going shopping for clothes again, and it wasn't even that many, as I'm still tight on the money that I do have available. Not to mention, I still have a decent sized closet, without throwing all my stuff on the floor, unlike the before mentioned sister. It stinks having such a difference as we do, because, not only are we oldest and youngest, there is a nine year gap between us.

I go pretty often, to get blood drawn, mainly to make sure my levels are okay, and that's usually two times a year, sometimes more. I've never passed out, but there are times when I just let them do their thing while I look the other way. Of course, taking shots is no problem for me, as I take between two and four a day. =)
