Mmkay, because I only mostly suck at explaining and talking about my ideas, I thiiink I've got it. o_o

So right now, dwellings for the earth spirits are really up in the air because I can't make up my mind on what their houses are like- right now they're houses/huts. But lately I've really liked the idea of them living in these hollows in trees, kind like what's-his-face from My Side of the Mountain did, except much higher off the ground and with hidden stairs that lead to the hollow in the tree. c: So while I really really really like the idea... It just doesn't feel right for them at all. :c But when I really start thinking about it, the trees make more sense then, say, living in a house. Because it's not really like they'd go chopping down trees for wood. o_o So my poor little brain is all confused.

Oh snap, that is conflicting. :gonk: I think them living in the trees is sort of a neat idea, though. c: And you're right about it making more sense. Though you could always do that "I need to use the land to live, but I respect it in return" view that somke cultures have,s hould you keep them in their houses/huts, which I also kind of like.

True, that view would work, but... just the whole cutting trees down thing doesn't work for 'em. o: Thinking about it, I think I really like the living in trees idea more. o: My main issue with it was... how would they have enough room? o_o

Perhaps they are very old, really big trees? o_o But yeah, room is an issue.

Really old, big trees would make a lot of sense, actually. o: Since they live in a very old part of the forest.
