I've not worked with watercolors much at all, but when I was in an art class in high school, we went on a field trip, which was outdoors, which would have been fine, but we had the added 'bonus' of it raining while we were there. I unintentionally created a decent start to a watercolor picture on that trip, but now I have no idea where that picture is. XP

I can tell you, even three hours later, I am so glad to be home and out of the traffic, it was so bad trying to get home. =( I don't even want to think about getting into my car and going somewhere until after I get a good night's sleep. =) All the traffic and accidents, as well as people using different routes because a major one was shut down and completely a parking lot. D= So glad I didn't try going that way, once I heard it on the traffic report. =)

Max- Neat! What was the watercolor of? It's a shame that you can't find it.

Ours was an intentional one at least. It was supposed to be a scientific paiting of three views of an animal, and our substitute has this thing about no creativity in interpreting the assignment, but I still weaseled my way into getting to do three views of mermaids. And then I put the all in one scene instead of some silly textbook looking diagram thing.
Only thing is, my water color container leaked onto my painting when I was trying to close it, so now I have these loverly dark red blotches on spaces that were going to be painted light blue and grey and what-have-you. NOT thrilled about that. I've already had to start over twice. I will be SO PISSED if I have to begin anew a third time, especially since one of the mermaids is already done. Already got it off best I could, gonna see what can be done with shading and blending. ;w;

Eeeew, traffic. I can't stand it. How long is your usual commute?

It was just a scene of a small lake with some trees, and the border of the lake in the foreground. I think my teacher liked it because while the actual picture, or what I completed of it, was a nice start, but the fact that it was raining made it a bit more interesting. =)

It usually takes me about twenty to thirty minutes to get home, depending on what route I take, and if it's congested. Today just seemed to be where every route I tried to take was super backed up, if not closed, like my normal route home. But that was due to a tractor trailer fire, and they had to shut down all the northbound lanes. XP That interstate looked like a parking lot for a while, I'm sure. Thankfully I heard the traffic report at the beginning of my trek home, so I knew to avoid getting stuck in the backup. I'm pretty sure I saw four or better accidents, and heard of many more. DX

Rommy; Whoa, I vanished big time there. o_o Anywhos, I've been pretty good. Finally got myself a modthesims2 account, and I've been beyond addicted with the site. And in turn I readdicted to Sims 2. :drool: Here's my current house/family. The garden has a bit of CC, namely the big rock on the left- which is a medieval frig/pantry- and most everything on the sims is CC. And, uh, most of the sims themselves. xD;

Max; Oh, yikes. D: Glad you didn't get in an accident! Sounds like people were being pretty reckless to me. :x

Yeah, getting home safely on a daily basis is very great. =) But, most especially apparent on days like today where accidents seem to have happened left and right. =/

Max- I second Lathy! Very glad you weren't involved in any of that.

Lathy- OH MY GOD THAT IS SO SWEET.
...How do you get CC? ;w; *tech illiterate*

 I adore my castle. I may have made a grand total of six of the buggers, but this is my best and my favorite.
How to get CC - Lath's better-than-MTS2-'s-Guide
0) CC = Custom Content. Making that clear, because even though I know I keep thinking "cheat code" when I see "CC" :B
1) Make a Modthesims2 account.
2) Install WinRAR so that you can unpack the files properly.
3) Track down their CEP thingy and install that. (It makes recolors of objects that came in Sims 2 and xpacks work correctly)
4) Find something you want on modthesims2, make sure you have all the right expansions, hit download.
5) When the file's downloaded, unpack it with RAR and move the files into EA Games > Sims 2 > Downloads.

THANK-YOU. <3
I think I might have to wait until I have a laptop before I get CC, though. :gonk: Sims 2 and Sims 2 Pets really bogs down the computer, and I realized that more stuff will be a problem. D; If I have my own computer, I can just get an external hard drive (...or four) for it and not have to worry about my family misplacing them or something.

Also, yeah, WAY better than MTS2's guide. I made an account to get CC when I first bought Sims 2 and had NO IDEA what the guide was trying to tell me to do.

Evening, ladies. =)

Man, I got bored of reading earlier, so I decided to finally pull out my Princess of Thieves movie and watch it. It was pretty good. =D Now I'm not sure if I want to go to bed and sleep, or stay up to watch another movie, or even some anime that I had started a couple weeks ago. XD

Evening, Max! You caught me right before bed, I fear.

I still need to watch that movie sometime, I've had a few other people tell me it's at least decent and worth-watching.

Ah, that's quite alright. =) I didn't really figure on getting a response until tomorrow at the earliest, so it's okay. =D

Yeah, I enjoyed it, not only because of the daughter of Robin Hood story, but also because of the general medieval time period that it's set in. =) Perhaps you can use it as a down-time reward during your studying, to give yourself a break. =)

DAUGHTER OF ROBIN HOOD MOVIE?!
I want to get and watch that movie right now.

Rommy; I'm still amazed that I half-understood their guide when I read it. :gonk: It seems needlessly complicated to me, especially after they decided to "dumb it down" for people who weren't technically literate to understand it.
And external harddrives for CC are a wonderful idea. I should probably do the same, but I'll wait until I have a crap ton of CC- as in, more crap ton than I already have- and no more room on my hard drive.

I'm glad you dumbed it down a lot for me. I UNDERSTAND.
Haha, I plan to deal with the problem before it bogs my computer down too badly and takes forever to move over. XD Shame they're so expensive. But so handy and worth it! My mom has a little one that has 40,000 songs on it, and I love that device more than I can possibly say. If I want a song from before the early 2000's, it's on there and I mooch off of her. :B And there's no way our computer could handle that much plus all our other stuff on its own without crashing.

Oh man, that's handy! o: Waaant! My computer hasn't taken to crashing yet, but with all the stuff I have on it and my habit of getting on the wrong side of DRM, I should probably save up and get an external hardrive to start moving stuff too. owo

Actually, I haven't yet 'cause I haven't finished filling it out. owo There are a things on it that are leaving me at "lolwut?" status, like asking for my SS.
Applications are confusing. I don't like them. :c I don't care what position I get and I don't know what you mean by date available because you just asked what hours/days I can work and- :gonk:

I'm not sure what to do about the position bit, but for date available, just put 'immediately'. c: I wasn't sure WTF they were talking about on my application, so I asked my dad and he said it means the date you can actually start work. For poition, you can probably just write down 'any' or some such thing, but I'm not sure. You might need to ask when you take it back to the store.

Camelot Castle And this is the reference I'm using for it. I've also made the little church where Arthur pulled the sword from the stone, and Morgan leFay's house, disguised as a cave. owo
