Yes, all ten fingers (an some toes) crossed. NEU has open houses on the 16th of October and the 9th of November. I can't go to the October one because that day is a very important holiday called JU'S BIRTHDAY and that would be basically taboo, but the November one might be a go! It all depends on finances and my parent's schedules and if that is the day my wisdom teeth will be ripped out of my face. It's one of four weekends that would work for me, so hopefully one of the others will be open. :c
(By work for me, I mean 'aren't too close to Thanksgiving/Christmas'. I will not STAND for being unable to eat food on these occasions!)

16th is Ju's birthday? o: Tell her happy birthday for me? c: *may or may not be at a con then*
Eee! 8D Crossing all possible things. Hopefully the 9th will work for you. c: But I'm totally biased on this, SO. Getting your wisdom teeth removed? Fun. D; Mine are still coming in, the buggers. ;u; They like to be omfg painful at random intervals.

I will I will! And have fun at that con if you go! C: Which one?
Yeah, I have to get all four out 'cause they're all coming in weird. :c The top ones are half on top of my teeth, and the bottoms are coming in under my jaw bone because there is no room in my mouth. So that'll go well if we keep letting them grow. The worst part is, I COULD have them out by now, but the surgeon we went to last time contradicted what my dentist said (which was "OMFG HUGE PROBLEM GET THEM OUT") and told us I might be fine if we didn't take them out. So we decided to not do it just then, because an oral surgeon is likely a better judge of this than a dentist!
But we were wrong about that. And you could see how wrong he was from both the latest X-rays and the old ones he was sent when we saw him six months ago. Good thing he was so competent. :sarcasm:

Aw, I'm sorry your wisdom teeth are boogers. ;a; Hopefully they come in all well and good! That would be unfair if you had to get them out, after they've already caused hurtings. :c

Evening, ladies!
I feel you there, on the dancing bit, Rommy. :XD I can hardly dance as well, except for slow dancing, and the 'Cha-Cha Slide', as well as a couple other popular line dance songs. I think there's one called the 'Cupid Shuffle' that I've heard a few times, and can do decently.

I'm glad now that I've already had my wisdom teeth out, though it wasn't too much trouble except when they were being a pain in the jaw. But still, getting three pulled at one time was painful enough for me not to want to got through it again. :XP

A little up-and-coming con in Nashua, New Hampshire. c: "Another Anime Con." Dunno if I'll be able to go yet, but we're trying. <3
Eeek, oh man. D: That... that doesn't not sound fun nor helpful. I hope things go well for you.

Evening Max!
Yeah, the Cha-Cha Slide is the absolute extent of my knowledge. I used to know some folk/line/ballroom dancing, but I've not been in two years. :x

Aw, I'm sorry! That sucks. :c On a scale of one to ten, how bad was it, and how tolerant are you of pain? Most people I've heard from said it sucked, but wasn't the absolute worst thing ever, and one has said it was absolutely brutal. I'm trying to gauge what to expect.

Lathy- Oh, that sounds like a blast! c:
Thank-you. <3
Oh! Ju and I are doing Halloween couples pictures, and I need help deciding on Kallie's costume for it. Raie is gonna be a 20's/30's style gangster, because... because I've been meaning to draw him that way for two years. And I can't decide if Kallie should be a flapper or a lady gangster. And if Kallie's gonna be a lady gangster, I can't decide on pants, skirt, or straight-up skanky for the lulz. :c Any thoughts/opinions/better ideas? D8

Lesse, I remember it was cold, as it was January of 2009 when they were pulled. It was done in the early afternoon as I had to work still that afternoon. I remember having to bundle up, especially around my face, as it would do no good to let the cold air get to the open holes while I was working as a Crossing Guard.

From what I remember, it felt strange having a numb mouth, and I couldn't eat or drink anything for several hours until the numbness and swelling went down. I wouldn't advise doing so until you have feeling in your face to attempt. I remember attempting before I was back to normal, and spilling some of my drink out of my mouth. :gonk:

I'm sure the doctor will give you a list of things to follow, and what not to do. Aside from the pain, which is actually bugging me a bit now talking about it, it was about a 6 or 7, though I am okay with pain. It was a bit disconcerting with the numbness, but also because of the cold outside, and having to use ice on my face to help the swelling recede, it felt a bit strange.

It honestly depends on how bad your situation with your teeth is, and what all they will need to do in order to get them out, as well as your tolerance for pain, and pain meds. For me, it sucked certainly, but I've probably had worse lady pains, if that seems possible. :P

Wow, that is actually really reassuring! I can't believe you went to work the same day, that's awesome! Most people I've heard from took time off school/work.
Thanks so much for all the advice and detailed info. <3 Usually I just get, "It hurt." ...Which is unhelpful, to say the least. Getting info from people who've had it done is a lot nicer than reading stuff online, since that all focuses on worst case scenarios... Seriously, I can't thank you enough! c:

I'm planning to get it done on the early side on a Saturday morning, so I don't have to dread it all day. Or maybe after school on a Friday so I have an extra night to recover before school.

You're very welcome. <3
I'm not sure what day of the week I had it done, though I'm pretty sure it was done during the middle of the week. I figured when I was there it was best to just get it done and over with, and I didn't have any of the substitute lists to try and find another Crossing Guard to cover my afternoon for me, so I just bundled up and dealt with it. Otherwise it would be just to stay home and be bored, as time slowly ticked by. I can be stubborn like that, and even work when I'm not feeling well, unless I'm told specifically to stay home. Though, now I can't stand to stay home for too long a period, otherwise I start getting used to being home and don't want to go back when it's time. PX
Yeah, pretty much unless you have a super-high tolerance for pain(which I think is very rare, if true), it will hurt, plus it will depend on how difficult it is for the dentist to get the teeth out.

If you think you could handle the 'anticipation' of a Friday evening, that might be better, but you also have to consider how long of a wait you would have until you could eat, especially the time between your last meal, and when you'll be able to not be numb enough to eat again. XP Plus, you'd have to take the dentist's hours for doing procedures as well.

Well, go you! You obviously have a great pain tolerance. I am duly impressed!
My doctor told me I have good pain tolerance, but I don't know about that... I hope she's right, that'll make this a lot more bearable. I do REALLY hate pain, though... I hope they give me some serious pain meds. Especially since the dentist told me these teeth would be hard to get out and that they might actually have to put me all the way under to remove them, since they have to get in under my jaw bone. But maybe I understood wrong or something.

Yeah, and I'll especially have all that to consider if they need to administer some anesthetic, since you can't eat for however many hours before hand. That would be the advantage of a morning appointment. But still, I would hate to miss any school if all wasn't well and good by Monday! Most people I talked to took one to three days off, you took none because you are some kind of awesome, and someone else I know (the one who said it was brutal) took a week or so. I don't really know how I'll fare, so the more recovery time before Monday, the better!

I am off to bed for the evening. c: Thanks again, Max!

Well, I'm glad you seem to think I have a great pain tolerance, though some months I wonder. XD
I'm sure with what you have to go through, they'll certainly give you decent pain meds to keep the pain at bay. I hope it's not horribly bad for you, but if they have to go in under the jawbone, it very well may be a bit of pain. I hope for your sake it's not as bad as all that, but I'll keep you in my thoughts. Be sure to let us know beforehand, so we know what's going on. =)
Mostly I didn't take any time off, because that would mean money that I wouldn't be earning myself, and I'm determined to do all I can on my own, and work for my living. =)

Have a good night, and sleep well! You're very welcome, Rommy.

Max- Oh, I'll for sure let you lot know! I think I have my visit to the oral surgeon to discuss what's up and pick a date in the next week or so. Thanks for the encouragement. Being in thoughts is good! :)

Afternoon, Lathy! I'm afraid I will not be on much this evening because my teachers are RUDE and I have to read a hundred pages and study for three major tests that are tommorow, but I will stall and ignore my grades as much as possible! c:

I am good, thanks! Thinking about changes to the werewolves to dehumanize their appearances just a bit, so someone who knows what to look for could tell one apart from a human, and that's kind of fun for me. c:

Hopefully you have no desire to burn it so my eyes may see! c:

Certainly! Some amount of gold in the eyes- a thin ring around the iris or flecks are the most typical. Their canine teeth are more pointed than the average human’s- not straight up fangs, though. The males have thicker chests (front to back) in comparison to the rest of their bodies and sturdier legs than human men. As for the females, most of their height is made up of their legs (long legs, short torsos) and their arms are a few inches longer in proportion to their bodies than human women’s.

I wonder if I should add another one or two, though. I’m thinking maaaaybe larger irises, but I’m not sure about that one.
So yeah, nothing earth shattering, and most of them had at least one or two (some all), of characteristics anyway, so it's not a huge change.
