Thankfully I did manage to get all of the EIs that I wanted. Though, I think it's cool they've extended the event for one more day, it's not much help to me, as tonight's essentially the end for me. =/ Though, I can always get what I want as far as commons in the stores, which is always a good thing, even if I can't get much of anything for half-price.

Oh man. :c I wish the event hadn't landed right when I'm constantly too drained to care. I was only able to get one CI. Le sigh. But so it goes. :>

How have you lovelies been? :heart: Production week is just around the corner- literally- over here, so I'm constantly drained and like never on. D; I miss yoooou! </3

Awww, if I'd have know that, I'd have grabbed you some! ;a; I'm sorry.

I miss you too, but I know you're busy as bajeesus with play stuff! <3 How's that all going? I'm sorry you're so tired. :c And don't even THINK about the RPs until the play is over, because I know you worry about replying and stuff. c: The less stress you're dealing with the better, bebe! *huggles*
I've been stressed, mostly. ;a; It's not even so much that I'm always busy, it's just that there's so much on my mind and my brain just feels stretched in all directions and I can't enjoy things or sleep, because I'm thinking about all this other stuff. But once March is over! Most of the stuff I'm worried about and trying to get done should be mostly through. c:

Aww, Rommy. <3 It's alright. c:

I'm going to tentatively say "It's going," because anything less and I'll probably start freaking out. o_o Our director mentioned that production week starts next Friday today, and the reply she got from the lot of us was basically "WAIT WHAT?!" So once again it snuck up on us. But it feels like we've had so much less time to work with, thanks to the scenes we were going to do that ended up not working out. ;a; I've only just barely got Old Gobo memorized, even though I was suppose to be totally memorized two months ago, and I'm still not entirely comfortable with where I am on Nerissa's lines, since my memory is suddenly the brain equivalent of swiss cheese. And I totally forgot that I offered to paint the sandwich board way back at the beginning off the year, and since they don't have anyone else willing to do it I can't exactly bow out of doing it. And I offered to do a little painting of a jester to put in one of the caskets, but I don't even know where to start on that.

And if the lady who was going to do the portraits of Portia's suitors bows out of doing that and they ask me to do them instead, I think I'm going to scream. Not to mention that we're doing some live music for some scenes, but we've only just started practicing with the musicians so no one's use to talking over the music yet and oh god, I just remembered that I told the director I'd see where I put the instructions for once of the dances we learned at the start of the year that no one remembers and argh! *flail*

Wow, that was a lot more rant-y and ventish than I meant it to be when I started writing. :gonk:
But it's an accurate description of the past few weeks, so. o_o

Oooh, stressed is not fun. D: *huggles* And the kind that comes from constantly having too much on your mind is even worse than the stressed that comes from being busy. ;w; I'm glad to hear that come end of March most of it will be over! That's definitely a light at the end of the tunnel. c:

*snuggles* Aw, gosh Lath! Talk about stress, it's a wonder you aren't cracking and stabbing civilians. :c Feel free to rant and vent! If the lady bows out of portraits and they ask you... just say no. You've got plenty of reasons to justify that answer. You're already doing a zillion and six things for the play! Does it help to make a list of what you've got to do? Because sometimes that gives me structure and calms me down, and it makes me feel good when I can see things getting crossed off. Sometimes it freaks me out because it gives me a visual on just how much I have to do, though, so I don't know if it would be helpful for you. :c I wish I had good advice, but I generally handle mountains of things to do by breakdowns involving lots of tears and comfort food, and then not sleeping to compensate for the time I wasted break downing. So... don't do those things! They are very counter productive.

Is there anyone that can help you in some way? Don't be afraid to ask them. c: And, uh, the general advice of 'take breaks and don't work yourself up over it.' I actually hate when people tell me that and my response is generally, "WELL CLEARLY I'M ALREADY WORKED UP AND I HAVE EVERY REASON TO BE. ALSO I DON'T HAVE FUCKING TIME FOR A BREAK. THAT'S WHY I'M WORKED UP." Even though I'm sure I just hurt myself more by not taking breaks. But if it helps you, make sure to use it!
I wish I had actual good advice! Also, I would bake you lemon squares or bring you coffee or something to cheer you up if I could. <3

Thanks, Lathy! <3 *snugs* It's just... gah right now. I just can't wait for it to be not gah, that's all.

;a; *snuggles* I'm pretty sure the only reason I haven't snapped and started stabbing people yet is because I have enough vidya games that I can do that in, and because I've been shunting everything to the side as much as possible to try and wind down. That, and there's just enough silly and progress going on at theater to keep me sane. The costume people aren't quite as panicking for time this year, for instance, even though they have less people working on costumes than they did last.

If the lady bows out of portraits, the other Nerissa and I will have to make due with the suitor's names written in a notebook. o_o This I've decided on. I've definitely got enough to do without worrying without adding six portraits to my plate. I don't know if writing out a list would help or not, honestly. Some of it I have no control over. ;a; I wouldn't be surprised if most of it's just stress-by-proxy.

Not too sure if there's anyone that can help. D: As far as lines go, my Lancelet and I run through our scene as often as we can. But for the artsy stuff... I'm pretty much on my own. There's a distinct lack of artists this year, and the other one I do know of is up to his ears in props stuff. And take breaks? Oh yes! Yes yes yes! My Friday and Saturday are busy-ish, but it's all things that are nice and mostly lazy; A sleepover at Jade's with Doctor Who and silly anime, and we wanna try and hit the theater to see the new Yugioh movie. And sure, my writer's group on Saturday lasts five hours, but it's with a group of friends that are an absolute blast to hang out with. So I'm hoping that even though it'll be sort of busy, it'll still be relaxing and breakish enough to keep me sane. c:

Also. Your response to being told to take breaks? That's pretty much what mind ends up being most the time. o_o "IF I HAD TIME FOR BREAKS I WOULDN'T BE STRESSED BUT CLEARLY I HAVE TOO MUCH TO DO FOR A BREAK AKFJASHFKJS" Lemon squares and coffee would be heavenly. ;a; I very much appreciate the thought. :hug:

Gah is not fun at all and should go away and leave my Rommy alone. *hugs* But since that isn't the case, hopefully the gah won't get any worse until it goes away. c:

Good for you, managing to find positive things! c: That goes a long way towards maintaining sanity, I tell you what. Also, yeah, you already have too much going on- six more portraits would be an issue. Especially with only a week! I don't think I could manage even one portrait in that time. You're generally a faster artist than I am, but still. That's a frick ton of painting!
Also, oh god, stress over thing you don't have control over is the worst. :hug: I totally understand how that goes. I am a mega control freak and feel the need to stress about everything ever if it affects me remotely. Not saying you are, you're the opposite of control freak, but I can empathize!

Sorry to hear that! :c That certainly does not make things easier, does it? But it sounds like you'll be having a good-type-of-busy weekend! Enjoy that sleepover and writing group, you sound like you could use the fun. c:

Also, thank-you for feeling the same way. o_o I feel like no one understands that feeling sometimes.

Naaaaw, thanks again! *hugs* I hope it won't either. c: And the stress is mixed with this apathy towards school (even though most of the stress is school related? I DON'T UNDERSTAND MYSELF) and "graduation could you please GET THE HELL HERE THANKS," which has only worsened the gah. I've pretty much come to terms with all graduation made me sad about through either reasoning it out with myself or just having stopped caring. Super ready for the end of March and most of the hyper-stress to be gone, and also super ready for high school to finally be over. :B

/two weeks later...

Okay! So the sleepover and movie were absolutely fantastic (There were many comments of "Marik, I want a Malefic Paradox Dragon. Buy me one." in LK's Bakura voice after the movie) and really helped to un-stress me. c: Yayness! Gobo and Nerissa haven't been giving me any trouble either, so there's good news all around. :heart: Except for the fact that I didn't get the sandwich boards until the last Wednesday of February and I didn't get the picture for it until last Thursday. :I The weather's been totally wrong for repainting it white, and we're running out of time. So I guess they won't be getting any sandwich boards this year. But if they wanted them snappy like, they should have gotten them to me months ago. So I'm finding it hard to care.

That? Is one of the worst sorts of stress. D: The sort you don't understand. :hug:

That does sound very unstressing, glad you enjoyed it! :'D But yeah, kind of necessary to have those things in advance... They definitely dropped the ball on that. Well, hopefully you get it done, but if not, they've no one to blame but their own selves. :>

Naw, thanks Lathy-lath. :hug: Healthy doses of Lauren, Ju, and some other friends have been helpful though, as well as lots of character 'talk' by which I mean jokes and ridiculous scenarios. :B Good times!

Wow, another week goes by. XP Just wanted to pop on and let you ladies know I'm still alive, but now is the real crunch time for our move, as we've finally gotten to a place in our projects at the other house, that we are finally able to get moving on moving. :XD Though, it certainly stinks as we're nearly a month behind where we want to be, but some things just came up and took away our time. =/ We should be hopefully fully moved between this weekend and the next, as long as things go alright. =D

Oh, 95% good wild! c: And the weekend wasn't actually traumatizing, mostly just funny and it sounds traumatizing. :B At the dog rescue this one dog was being a psychopath while I tried to get the dog in the same enclosure as him on a leash, and to get my attention psychopath dog was gnawing on my arm and trying to take the collar and leash. I tried to shoo him, so he ran around behind me and grabbed my bun and pulled, then decided to gnaw my face, then pulled my hair again. It was actually more amusing than anything, at least once I was out of the enclosure. XD Ju thought it was hilarious. (But then, she is mean. :P) And then later that day at home I was running through my kitchen, slipped on some water by the fridge, my foot flew under the fridge, I pitched forward (you can imagine how that went for my poor foot), and now I have a swollen bruise on top of my foot. Not gonna lie, some cussing followed that one. But now it doesn't hurt much and it looks impressive. B)
And today I'm going prom dress shopping, which actually is traumatizing. :gonk:

Good! Any stories of the good crazy? :'D

... I'm really, really sorry, Rommy. But the psychopath dog gnawing on you to get your attention? Not gonna lie. I'm giggling like a fiend over that. :'D And ouch! D: I hope that bruise goes away soon. 'Cause that sounds wicked painful. ;a;
Aww, I'm sure it won't be that bad. c:
... Okay, so it might. Shush. I'm trying to be a supportive friend, logic. Go away. ;c

Oh goodness, yes. :'D
Friday night, after we'd gotten ready but before the curtain went up, my Lancelet and I were speaking in some crazy Scottish/British accent for probably half an hour and just being crazy in general. "Don't drop your hat, son!" "Wot hat? I don't hava hat." "The one on your head!" "I want her hat. :C" "Swap hats!" "Okay. c::" "I said swap, not take! You aren't allowed to keep George [the hat], son." "But I like George! :C He's my friend. I talk to him." Everyone was either "poppit," "love" or "Gov'na."
Yesterday wasn't quite as crazy, but there was plenty of insanity with my sonic screwdriver, and I think at one point the backroom contained a hidden portal to the UK. c:

Toldja it was just funny! Man, that dog was crazy. :'D It was only painful at the moment, now it's more like, "HAHA GUYS CHECK OUT MY BRUISE." :P
I'm hoping it will be easy. c: Dress shopping is fun for the first two stores. Then it's like, "OKAY. ALRIGHT. I JUST WANT A DRESS." I love this dress so much why is it expensive and also on the internet and not in a store whyyyy ;a;
Awwww, logic, stop messin' with Lathy! :c

Accents are win! And haha, that sounds like a good way to get pumped up for a show. ...I want a George. :c P.S. I CALL BEING POPPIT
What evidence supports the claim of a portal to the UK?That sounds fun! :'D

Oh, that's good! c: And having awesome bruises to show off is always a plus. ;D
I hear ya! You have a lot more patience when it comes to dress shopping than I do. I go into "CAN I JUST GET A DRESS NOW?" part way through the first store most the time. And that, girl, is a pretty dress! Do want! ;a;

Awrighty, Poppit! c:
Our Prince of Aragon got his hands on my sonic screwdriver and proclaimed that one wall of the building was the portal to Diagon Alley. Then we had to point out that we were on the wrong continent. So we spent the next minute or so spinning on the spot trying to figure out which was Britain was from where we were standing. Which, uh, ended up being right through the supposed-Diagon Alley wall. Which is also one of the walls of our backstage room. So it was decided that there must be a portal to the UK in there. :'D

YES I AM POPPIT
Sounds entirely reasonable to me. c: You guys should have gone after the performance! That would have been an ace after party.

Sorry my replied are taking forever, I am being easily distracted!
