i can't remember the last time i went to california...

just on the east side of the mountains. yeah, it rains a bit on the coast. it was funny some of the times I lived there and they said we were going to have a drought. and then a few weeks later it's like, "oh. never mind." :lol:

oh, then what's the whether like east of the mountains? my geography book doesn't say much about it. it keeps snowing here on and off, during the day :P
i like it; i wish it would snow a lot though, so we'd have more snow on the ground

we've just had a dusting of snow in the last few days. it's gone now.
basically, on this side of the mountains we have REAL seasons! It's hot in the summer (can get up to and over 100, and that is dry heat so at least shade is helpful), it is cold and snows in the winter, spring is sorta rainy and smells sweet like it should, and autumn everything turns orange and red and yellow and brown and the days are more warm than hot.

we have four seasons two. only difference is, it's more humid because i'm in a small state on the atlantic coast. our winters can get below freezing, sometimes below zero. the fall gets cool around the end of october, even as far as mid november recently. spring brings rain, but usually doesn't get warm util the end of april, and then summer is usually in the 80s, with humidity.

That was the thing I hated the most about Georgia and Florida. The darn humidity!
