how many places have you lived before? did you have to move because of jobs?

let me think ... I have moved ... 15 times, in 4 different states. the moves were because of growing up renting, going to college, when I got married, when he moved around, then moving back to be near his parents, then coming back here.

oh...you're like...old...er. i happen to know quite a few girls who move around b.c of daddy's business, or the army. i've lived in the same state, in the town, in the same house, for 17 years

oh my gosh, you are SO lucky! The longest I lived in any one town was the house I lived in until I was 12.

i never really thought that was lucky; i would have wanted to live in so many places. even though it may be harder to make friends, i wouldn't be so concerned with that since i'm not so good making friends anyway >>'

well, I have yet moved to a place where I didn't somehow manage to make friends. I'm sure you'd do the same.
and it is kinda neat living in different places. especially places far enough apart to hear and learn other accents and slang.

to make up for that, my mother takes me all over to visit places outside of the state, the US, and even north america. o, it's not as bad. and, i think new kids have a little better chances at making friends sometimes.

I don't know, kids can be cruel.

yeah, but i've seen a lot more of them meaner to the shy kids. i used to get made fun of all the time, b/c i'm a bit different :sweat:

yeah, it can be hard. I know I am a bit different, and my poor son is even more different. stupid society wanting everybody to be "perfect" and the same as them. :(

well your son is very lucky to have a mom like you. i really hate the way my mother compares me to other people, and she blames me for everything that goes wrong socially. it is kind of my fault...
