yeah they are! and I used to be a nurse's assistant so I have a lot of experience around those kind of people. it's very sad.

okay. I know that one of my patience that has alzheimers was just sort of cast in his memories of himself as a boy. It was terrible, he would sit there or lay there calling, "MOTHER! MOTHER!" and the other ladies would just tell him to shut up. Even though I wasn't supposed to, I always answered him. I never said I was his mother, but I did come when he called and asked him what was the matter. Half the time he just wanted his "mom" and me coming over there was enough for him.

I just always felt so bad for him! especially if one of the nurses yelled at him before I had a chance to finish what I was doing and go to him. it would just break his heart.
