I'm more hungry for something sweet.
My Doc said I have to cut down on sugar, and so I'm trying to do that, but I have such a sweet tooth.

yeah, same here. my doc was explaining to me how sweets exacerbate depression and anxiety problems. I can't rightly remember everything she was talking about, but basically I need more meat in my diet and less sweets.

Then I'd be in heaven.

I made muffins today. Oatmeal applesauce ones. Yummy! Lemon poppyseed are my favorite though.
Jean and crazy- I need to cut back on sweets too. My teeth are begging me to. But sweets are soooooo delicious.

well, I can't deny that I had some ice cream and popcorn before bed; but, when it was half an hour before bed I started craving again but I did not eat anything! I need to work on not having a desert at all, but one step at a time, right?
oatmeal applesauce? I hate you.

XD We ate them all already. They were so good. And the best part? They're pretty low in sugar! They just have a half cup of brown sugar and no regular sugar at all, besides whatever was in the applesauce, but I usually get the sugarless applesauce.
I think it would be better to have a small desert rather than nothing at all. It'd probably be easier on you.

My hubby makes the *best* marinara sauce from scratch.
The trick is to use white zinfandel wine in it...

I love mozzarella sticks. Marinara sauce is ok too, although I don't like it quite as much. Plain mozzarella sticks are good enough for me.

Sometimes just a plain old hunk of extra sharp cheddar is all you need....

Ah. To me, a cheese shouldn't be spicy... I just love the taste of cheese by itself.

I can be super picky about cheeses. I like mild cheddar, colby/jack, pepperjack, mozzarella, parmesan, and american. I don't like swiss or sharp cheddar. I haven't really experimented with other kinds, like muenster and um....yeah, those other kinds. XD

When I was a kid, it was all velveeta... that's all my Mom ever used.
Then in college I "experimented". Actually, my boyfriend gave me some Gouda. It's really good on crackers.
I found out later he had lifted it from a grocery store. I told him that unless he promises me he won't do that again, I won't ever take anything from him again, because I don't want something that has been stolen.

I had a tiny part in my past where I stole stuff from stores in the mall. I think I only ever swiped a total of like 5 things over a couple weeks and then I got caught and never did it again. and I still feel horrible about ever doing it.

Jean- Wow, I definitely wouldn't trust anything he gave me after that. o.O
I've never actually had velveeta. XP It's so common, but I've just never had it.
crazy- I stole a piece of candy once when I was really little and my mom wouldn't buy it for me. She caught me eating it, (I was a dumb kid and walked into the kitchen where she was when I was eating it) and she made me go back and apologize to the shopkeeper. I never did it again.

Rikali, that exactly what happened to me.
When I was about 5 or 6 I took a pack of gum from a store.
Mom caught me (I had only eaten one piece). She took it away from me, took me back to the store and made me apologize, pay for it, and then I got a spanking when we got home.
I never did it again...
Don't have to worry about that boyfriend anymore... he didn't last through college even...
I have no idea where he's at anymore.

oh gosh Rikali! way to tell on yourself!
I caught my son shoplifting once in January. It was one of those $1 hot wheels cars I didn't have money to buy for him. but then, I didn't notice until we were half way home and he already had it out of the package and stashed the package and was playing with it. I was SO embarrassed! my mom and sister work there! needless to say he got a lecture and to my knowledge nobody knows any different!

crazy- Oh yah I know! :XD Wow, I'd be so embarrassed too. And probably really angry.
