What's the weirdest food you or someone you know have eaten or eat regularly? My mom has peanut butter and salami. I had a scary smelly fish in a Thai restaurant once. Also, my family eats jello with cream cheese and turkey with whipped cream. Both are amazing.

I ate a pureed egg puff thing on top of a cake before. That was pretty.. interesting.
Also ate goose-liver as some Microsoft Euro-Convention my brother-in-law had to attend in Madrid. That was.. I puked.

I had eaten guanta >o> Yeah, that animal that looks like a rat the size of a pig 8D;; It doesn't have much taste, but if sazoned well, it's pretty decent for an animal that only lives in the Amazonas xD
PS: Now, who else has had a "ceviche"? [ceviche=dish of marinated raw fish]

Weirdest food I've ever eaten?
Salt, ketchup, mustard, pepper, dubious amounts of soy sauce, HP sauce, BBQ sauce, sweet and sour sauce, honey mustard sauce, a different kind of ketchup, sour cream, an unknown foreign 'dip' from the back of my fridge from a party at least seven months prior, hot sauce, a third kind of ketchup, and maple syrup.
... it wasn't my idea. I had to drink a shot-glass full and I THANKFULLY couldn't taste a thing 'cause the hot sauce burned my tongue before the gloppy substance got to it. To this day I still have the recipe post-it-note'd to my fridge, if only to remind me to never again accept a dare...

Weirdest food? I doubt anyone has me beat on this front. In fact I'll give you three. *Oh I love eating weird foods.* >=D
Number One! Meal worms in a stir fry of vegetables. It was actually quite deliscious the meal worms gave it a crunch and taste I enjoyed.
Number Two! Opossum. It's real gamy and I didn't like it much.
Number Three! (I'm proud I didn't puke on this one) Dried and sugared shrimp. It was aweful, whatever you are thinking about to compare the awfulness too is not disgusting enough unless it is human excrement. It was truly that aweful.
If you can beat any of that my hat is off to you.

i am reminded that i read somewhere that on average in your lifetime you eat about 8 spiders in your sleep. *shudders* ewww
but some sorta weird foods that i've tried willingly is dried squid sticks, and cuttlefish chips my friend brought back from japan. its yummy, i liked the squid more. not really that weird, i like japanese snacks and food.
~~
i just rememebed this digusting cake i made when i was little,
we didn't have cake mix so i used pancake mix, i put in milk and eggs and baking soda and sugar, mixed it all up, put it in cake pan and put in oven, i didn't burn it and it wasn't gooey on the inside but, the egg had somehow become fried on top, it seperated and rose to the top, so i had egg bits on top. and since we didn't have icing i used peanut butter.
we all ate it and my parents were all 'yum yum' and me and my brother looked at them like they were crazy weird cause it was so yucky and we couldn't eat it. i guess they were being nice, but i wondered if they had tastebuds. >.>

I get the frogs and rabbit, I had a friend who ate frog legs because they were fried like chicken. But pig blood and cow intestines??? How do you get tricked into eating those?

I guess you could consider it stir-fry, now that you mention it. But I always think of stir-fry with onions and peppers and such.

Oddest thing I ate was Guinea pig and rocky mountain oysters. Those are two reasons I no longer eat meat. Guinea pig actually is pretty good, but I wouldn't have eaten it if I knew what it was to begin with. It tastes like really moist chicken. I just don't care to eat something that eats its own poop.
I guess if you consider squid and octopus odd I use to eat that all the time. I also use to eat snails and crickets. I no longer eat meat so I don't eat any of that anymore.
My friend's mom thinks it's weird that I eat fake chicken that's made out of a fungus. It tastes better than real chicken though. I don't really find it that odd, but a lot of other people do.

Hmm, possibly some of the weirdest foods I've eaten are; raw horse meat, which is quite sweet, and goes well with eel sauce, wine mixed with snake's blood, raw whale which also is very good. I also enjoy dried whole minnows which are delicious as well as the dried and sugared shrimp. I love the stuff.
I also once had sashimi, which is like sushi without the rice. It's just raw fish. They put the plate out with the whole fish on it who had had his meat craved off and a stick stuck in him so he looked curved as if jumping from the water. His gills were still twitching like he was breathing. That was a bit, off putting to say the least.

Well, being from the South, I have been exposed to what many people would consider strange foods.
Jumbo Shrimp (boiled and fried)
Raw Oysters with Cocktail Sauce
Fried Oysters
Crawfish (boiled and fried)
Alligator (fried)

Cottage cheese and steak. It was surprisingly very good.
Then there was this one time when my friends in the cafeteria decided to make a strange concoction from grape fanta, root beer, and salt. It was mostly salt and grape fanta. The stuff was absolutely disgusting. I ended up drinking ALL of it for money. Oh, the things I do for money! I ended up throwing up after. ...I don't think I can ever drink grape fanta again.

Calf's brains.
And I didn't even notice it wasn't your typical meat. It had a softer texture, but it tasted like any other meat.

Hehe I drink blood too, my fiancee and I do it, it's a huge sign of bonding to us. We are both gothic and love vampires and all the cliche stuff haha.
Also, black pudding, I love it! I remember when I was at school a few of my friends used to eat it and when I told them it was pigs blood they freak out and never ate it again XD
