Sizzla wants a forum for religion and politics, she can mod it if we make one though xD

I've seen how nasty some people can get when others disagree with their opinions on those two subjects. We might need to issue the mods of that area with tasers >_>

"I pray you shall have a merry day" which is a sort of middle english way of saying Have a nice day. But yeah an Atheist in menewsha decided to attack me for that and telling me that I was forcing people into my religion...

My response was O_O ????

yeah it wasn't cool and the mod who tried to help me with the situation kept faulting me for it... which wasn't cool either...but i don't expect mods to be perfect either...But i remember feeling like crap just because I said an innocent sentence..and on top of that having false accusations in a popular thread... after a while the person apologized.. like after 5 people talked to the person and then the person just said it so there would be no more trouble... but stuff like that just almost made me want to leave menewsha... :\

So I can totally understand that... but still people will talk about it..because its in their hearts and its probably better if they had a forum for it..rather than casually speaking about it in a random thread topic and have someone berate their beliefs out of nowhere... at least with it being a forum...a mod can control that forum...aka Sizzla...and i would totally help her in that forum too if she wants me to.. because I can get into alot of relgious talk too.. positive ofcourse...but still i do... :)

but what about the Regional one?

I'm unsure about a regional one, I mean what exactly would people talk about in it? Any new forums that are created will have to be discussion based. One for different regions of the country/world seems more like a hangout to me :sweat:

Mmm... that is true Jelly... but are we allowed to set up lets say... a "New York hangout" thread in that Hangout section? I know is an easy answer.. but just double checking... ^^;

hehe.. thanks jelly... i am actually trying to figure out what thread I can start that hasn't been started before..and have people active talk in it... But I think New York thread is good..but I want a more... substantial topic i guess. My thread about "who inspires you the most" died a while back...and my Comf Corner thread also flopped... ^^; i just don't know what to put as a topic that will have people want to come and chat about... you know? ^^;

i don't know if this is part of the topic...but i was thinking about a Club section? dunno if its redundant though..^^;

Maybe an "Pet/ Animal Chat" type forum.
You can ask questions & hold discussions directly relating to pets/animals there.

I'm telling you right now, it would be awesome to have a place to just post randomness.
Stuff that doesn't have any point to it at all.

I like the idea of a forum for homework and discussing academics! I think that would help a lot of people out XD

The art pricing subforum...maybe move that from art discussions to art shops as a subforum there? I see a lot of new kids asking about pricing in the art shops and most people don't visit the pricing subforum...actually I don't know how many know it's in art discussions. and because of that people rarely post in there... Just a suggestion *hides*

Oddly enough I think more pricing threads end up in Art Post than Art shops or Discussions. :/ Its weird...because there is a sticky saying that art pricing threads don't belong there! >.<

@Melody - oh that's true. I forgot about art post! But you're right - the majority of pricing threads end up in art post and most people end up pricing people's art there despite the rule saying not too.

Maybe we could have a forum dedicated to different videos and shows on the Internet.

I like the previous suggestions for a hobby forum. =) I think Mene's done a pretty good job of covering the bases so far, though.

I think there should be a chatterbox forum. For people who just wanna post nonsense to rack up some gold. But at the same time there should be some simple rules to keep it in place d:

Community Discussion fills the role you're asking for from "Community Projects". When we get bigger, though, it might be a good idea to split it off. :)

I like the ideas of the fashion/lifestyle, the homework help, and the 17+ section. Also, just a suggestion for the 17+ section, yes there's no way of really proving that you're old enough, but at a few other forums I used to frequent, they had a few "roadblocks"
The strictest forum's rules were 1. you had to be a member for a certain period of time, I think a month or something. 2. You had to have like 50 posts or more 3. you could not have more than a few minor infractions in regards to rule-breaking, and 4. You had to have shown some amount of maturity in your posts thus far. You PM'd a moderator in charge of the list, and you'd be PM'd back either letting you know you made it in and go have fun, or you're denied for now and why.

Maybe a Services forum.
Where users could provide services such as homework help, tarot readings, thread/shop designing, profile layouts, ETC for either free or for money...because I have to say a homework help forum would most likely have WAY WAY more people asking for help then people providing help, so perhaps offering gold/items as an incentivie would make it more active.
