I had trouble getting friends as a kid... so I want to make sure not to loose these ones...

Kids listen to me, surprisingly. I think it's in the socks. Wear colorful, knee-high, mis-matched socks, and they'll be so utterly mesmerized and otherwise distracted that they'll follow your lead. It's like brainwashing, but more fun. :mrgreen:

@Kaze: There's more to taking care of people than the financial aspect; you take care of people, and care about them. Hence youse a good person. QED and such.

It's good to help people, but you don't want to make your friends dependent either. I know what you mean, though. My friends and I have also developed a pretty symbiotic family.

It's nice to have people to love. :)

Most people I know who espouse abstinence have had it sold to them for their entire lives...

I can understand that :) I had two friends and one of them suddenly told me "I don't want to talk you anymore", so I'm kind of trying to keep the other one as a jewell xD I'll invite her over the next days to make up for my absence last year x);;

I feed them lettuce and chaya [<< not sure how it's called in english...] :3 Basically anything that resembles leaves, they'll hole it and finish it o_o They love to eat and wander [actually, I think that's the only thing they do...]... and watch TV! xD Belieeevveee it!
I don't think they could leave their shells... one of mine had it's shell fall mysteriously and died the day after, despite my efforts T.T
And nuu, I don't have slugs o_o I prefer snails though, as I can pick them from their shells and avoid getting my hands unnecessarily slimy.

PS: Indeed, a cute kitty D; My cousin's cat [which I kidnapped x'D] had 5 kitties in January 1 of 2008 Dx I hid them in my closet until my dad decided I could get sick from their fur... :(

Speaking of kittens, we're going to have a ton come spring. D: We adopted a bunch of stray cats cause you could see their ribs. We started feeding them and then they multiplied last spring. Now, one of the babies, who was a baby last spring, is pregnant. D: We already have 15 cats (give or take) to take care of.. we dun need 20 more. xD But we'll love them anyways. I always love it when they give birth and they trail behind the mommas. xD

Toxoplasmosis, allergies... there's always someting nasty in those adourable balls of lovely fur D;
I can't help you with blushing. Only time I blush is when I've let my head be supported my my hands, and when I take them away, ta-da! I have red marks xD Otherwise... unless running-a-mile redness counts as blushing... nope~
