I don't really enjoy being around people, you know, so being in a smallish church with like 30 people who were younger and a lot more hyper than me wasn't very fun. ><
We were there because my little brother (he's 16) is like really involved in church now and he goes to this youth church group like twice a week. He decided he wanted to be baptized, so they baptized him last night, and my mom and dad, big sister, and my grandma and I went to see him. =3
But like I said, I don't like crowds, so I mainly followed my sister around like a puppy. :lol:
And I got a headache because we were sitting in the very front because my sister and I wanted to take pictures. And they were singing and like had two guitar players and a drummer and they had the volume on the amps up as high as it would go. Like the floor was vibrating. -__-

I've never seen a baptism.. I was under the impression that to baptize someone, you dunked them in a bowl of holy water.

:rofl: No. Its more like an aquarium of "holy" water. At least all the ones I've seen are that way. Apparently the churches used to baptize people in the river, but as far as I know, no one does that anymore. I was actually thinking about that earlier, and I wonder if maybe someone drowned at their ceremony.....although, I suppose if you had to die, it would be best to kick it as soon as you've been baptized. No time to sin, so you die with a clean slate. :lol:
